Passing through Amarillo. Randomly picked Deluxe Nails for pedicures. When my husband & I walked in we were awed at the size of the place. We were welcomed warmly and seated quickly after we'd washed our hands. Their sanitary standards are high. I've never been creamed and massaged so thoroughly. I have been coming here for years. This was my first time back since 2019/post COVID. This is a family owned business and to see everyone still here made my heart soooo happy. I brought my mom with me and she felt right at home because of how accommodating everyone is. If you ever come here ask for Lily, Jackie, Malone, or even mama! I went in on a Friday to get a full set of nails. I'd been going here for probably six months and hadn't had many issues. Within two days I had lost five of my nails... so I went in and showed them because usually they lasted me 2 to 4 weeks and prior to that they told me if I had issues they'd fix them.. so I assumed they would just fix the ones that broke considering I just paid $75 plus a 20% tip... but they took the last few nails off, redid them, and then charged me the $75 again.. and I still gave a 20% tip. I asked for coffin, long brown nails, I showed a picture and everything. I was Super kind and gently when I explained what had happened.. but nope. I left with super short, pink square nails, and over half of them were crooked. When he was about to cut them during the nail appointment, I mentioned that I liked them longer, and he said "no. I don't want them to fall off again." Almost like he was punishing me for complaining softly about them falling off so fast. I won't be going back, I've already found a new nail place. read more

Wish i could give negative stars: This place used to be decent but now they just plain suck. Charged $70 for horrible nails and uneven lines and nails . I specifically told the guy i wanted maroon and he just gave me whatever color he wanted. I even left a good tip he didn't deserve AT ALL. The lady who helped my mom was rude and her nails are horrible too all because she doesn't like to do french tip. Sorry you don't like to do your job no reason to get an attitude with my mom. I was in town for work and needed to get my nails done. I am SO GLAD I found this place. I went in on a Thursday after 5pm, no reservation, and the got me in immediately. The nail tech, I think her name was Lisa, did a fantastic job! It was so fast and she was very gentle. Since saying goodbye to my previous nail tech of 4 years, I was looking for a good nail salon to revive my nails and I've found one! Not too far from I-40, this salon had friendly staff, clean tools, a large space, and offered a variety of services. I am very picky and the man who worked on my nails was receptive of my requests and gave me a nice new set of dip nails. It's been two days since my one and only visit. While there I had a deluxe pedi (included heated towel, paraffin, cuticle care...just FYI) I have never written a Yelp review. During my visit the tech answered her phone/texts, walked away for it several times. The actual pedi was lacking, I'd say 2 min at best. The polish is crooked. But the main reason for the review was her distraction during the foot scrub...I don't have calluses! Caused abrasions in multiple spots, not just near the bottom of my foot. Up high as well. Lack of attention, aggressive and dangerous. I pulled away the first time, and she asked if she hurt me? Then proceeded to do it to the other foot. I'm very much not a complainer but this is dangerous. Pictures included and this is 2 days out. For your health & safety, find another place. read more

This place is just okay. I got a deluxe pedicure at $48. It was a little underwhelming. The hot stone massage was kind of lacking because the stones weren't even hot, they were lukewarm. The pedicure itself took a long time to complete. The gentleman was thorough, but it did take awhile. I had a shellac manicure and that was a lot better. It didn't take as long. I like my polish to match and they really didn't have many that were the same as a polish and in shellac. I ended up paying $80 before tip. It was kind of pricey for what it was. read more

I made a Yelp account just to write this. My wife made an appointment and when we arrived a group of 5 walked in without an appointment. They were seated before she was. 3 of us went there Saturday 4/14 - 2 of us were less than happy. I ordered a fill, mani and a pedi. Fill was ok not great - just ok. Polish (gel) on the fill is another story. It's streaked and spots where you can almost see the nail. I did not get the color I originally requested because when he started to apply it the polish wouldn't stick to the nails There was NO mani. No cuticles pushed or trimmed. No hand massage. No lotion of any kind. They did, after we requested some lotion, give us each a small tube to take with us - no charge. So ok - no mani and a so so fill/polish job. I DID get a pedi before they did my fingernails. A pretty crappy pedi. My toes were supposed to match my finger nails. My finger nails are a bright pink and my toes are almost neon orange. I didn't notice the orange until just before I left - the nail tech said that the second choice color pretty well matched my feet - he was blind I'm sure. After he finished my nails I put my shoes back on - so at least an hour after my pedi. That evening when I removed my shoes, the polish is nearly off several toes. Then I realized the tips of 3-4 of my toe nails are ragged. My heels are as rough as before I went in. This is Monday 4/16. I went back over to the salon to discuss my pedi with the manager. He dd offer to re-polish my nails. Explained that I did not have time today to sit in the salon. Requested some or most of my money back. To that he replied "that won't happen." He didn't offer to have me come back another day, he didn't offer me a gift certificate. Just we'll polish your nails now or you get nothing. I said ok - and I'll be happy to give you some free advertising. And I left. Each of the three of us spent almost $100/each. And today it it very apparent they liked our $$$, but could care less about us as customers. There are lots of other salons in Amarillo - try one of them and stay away from this one, unless you just have lots of $$$ to toss. read more

they went above and beyond! i was disappointed with my nails and my cuticles were hurting. i called to see if they can fix and they sure did! the first technician did not do a great job and she went over my cuticles, didn't not file properly. the second technician could see why i wasn't satisfied with my nails and she went above to fix it to ensure my nails were comfortable, then she asked other technician to do floral design and he did amazing job! i believe i have found my go to nail technicians. you have no idea how many places i have gone to just to find the right ones. i'd recommend you to go and see for yourself, they are very friendly people. read more

My daughter and I went in for manicures. We called and made an appointment for noon. First of all, we got there 5 minutes early and waited 25 minutes for our turn. Why call for an appt if u have to wait anyway? Then my daughter wanted a shellac with some Halloween designs added. She had taken the time to gather some designs on Pinterest. Her manicurist was the one grumpy guy who seemed really put out with being there. Pretty much refused to do she wanted and she had to change her design for him. If she pays $42 for this service she should get what she wants and not be intimidated to change her mind because he didn't want to do it. This place is rated high but really don't see why.
