Johnson was my manicurist today and he did exactly as I asked him to do. The absolute perfect natural gel nail manicure! Coming from California, I know how picky people can be. This is definitely one of the best kept Nail salon secrets in Amarillo. See you in a few weeks Johnson! read more

Fabulous customer service! My first visit- I'll be back! They took the time, and did a first rate, high quality, manicure and pedicure!

Excellent nail technicians and a very pleasant environment. I love the massage chairs, too!

What a great spot to stop & get my nails done. I selected planet nail based on other reviews. They were friendly, they did an outstanding job on my pedicure & manicure. I did not do gel & my nails lasted almost 2 weeks! Thank you I'll be back. read more

Me and my sister went in to get prom nails and were not disappointed. We both got designs, and the total came out to less than $100 each. The manicurists were kind and skilled and the atmosphere was overall very peaceful and friendly. read more

My pedicure was amazing and I enjoyed it. However, I got dip on my natural nails. I asked for a designed and didn't receive it. My nails have chipped and top coat had come off within a week. read more

Best pedicure I have ever received. I liked the atmosphere- relaxing music, not too bright lighting. I would recommend to my friends and will go again. read more

Amazing place! The BEST nail salon I have ever been to hands down! The pedicure was amazing and they do a mini massage after for the 30$ one. I seriously enjoyed this place so much I can't wait to go back! So for this visit there was four pedis and we all had an amazing time. It was lovely and everyone was so impressed! They used fresh tools on my pedicure and their pricing is great as we I highly recommend. read more

This was the best pedicure I have ever had!!! I am traveling for business and decided to get a pedicure with my free evening. Roy was AMAZING! I got the pedicure special ($65). Best message I have ever had with a pedicure. At one point Roy was juicing limes and oranges and rubbing green tea leafs on my feet. I didn't think it could get better... but they finish the special with a neck and arm message!!! read more

I love going to Planet Nail and Day Spa! Thai and all the others are warm and welcoming and very accommodating. They have great hours and work hard to make you happy. I have been coming here for as many years as they have been open. My fave is their pedicures. There's always a wonderful massage for the feet and when you are done there's a neck massage. I go to be relaxed and stress free for a little while. Thank you for many years of pampering!! read more

The service can not be beat. The massages are amazing and there is rarely a wait. We go out of our way to come here because we have never had a sub par or bad experience. read more

This was a trip before my birthday as a celebration. We stopped here to get our nails done before going back home. I'm giving this 3 stars because it's not even been a week and I already had to get my nails done because they broke and cracked on 3 different nails.. the lady also didn't put the top clear layer for extra coverage on my nail which is why they ended up cracking so easily. And I was not rough with my nails either my thumb nail cracked from me grabbing my card out of the ATM my other thumbs real nail chipped off underneath the SNS from snagging on my clothes meaning she didn't buff my nail correctly.. I loved the color but they weren't built for longevity and they should be so I gave them 3 stars. read more

We drove up to Amarillo to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We live about 2 hours away and on a whim decided to do a full spa day. The first couple of places we called were booked. So we thought ok we will take a chance here in part because we liked the name and in part because of the reviews. They were AWESOME. They did nail art made my daughter feel extra special and are actually game to do some of the more adventurous nail designs that we like. It is worth the two hours drive. We will be back and not just because we got birthday coupons to use. read more

I'm so sad that I don't live in Amarillo because I would love to come back to this place! Stopped by on a Friday afternoon after finding Planet Nail and Day Spa based on their Yelp reviews. My other half got a pedicure which he thoroughly enjoyed and I got an SNS manicure. My technician really took his time and did a great job. I'm attaching a photo to this review but my nails are already a week old by the time I took this. read more

Wow! A great experience with Ty. He did an awesome job on my organic pedi. Friendly staff. Very clean place. I highly recommend them and I go every 2 weeks for pedis. read more

Overall, my pedicure experience was fine. What I didn't realize until I got home was that my toenails are rough and the polish is bubbled and rough. It looks almost like I put socks on while the polish was still wet (I did not put socks on and kept the flip flops on for several hours). I'm not talking about 1-2 toenails. Every single toenail will have to be redone. read more

K just gave me the best pedicure I have ever had in my entire 37 years on this earth.

Ordered a paraffin wax pedicure and basic nail service. One of my pet peeve is when I'm at a salon (hair, nails, etc) and the workers are speaking loudly with each other, especially in another language other than English. Now don't get me wrong, I AM BILINGUAL. But when I go to a salon there are times when I just want to relax. As a matter of fact, it is a form of relaxation for me. It's hard to do when you have workers speaking loudly, almost yelling around me and I can't even understand what they're talking about. Other than that, the salon is clean and the actual service I ordered were good. read more

I just had a pedicure from Planet Nail and it was AMAZING! Such nice people and very accommodating! Highly recommend!

Love this place!! Paul and Ty have taken care of me for 16 years!! They are the BEST!!

Best massage I've had at a nail salon AND they included a shoulder massage with a pedicure! Very satisfied customer If I lived in Amarillo, this would be my go to place. read more

Hooooly crap. Best pedicure I've ever had in my life. Did the deluxe and seriously almost fell asleep. Will never go anywhere else. So happy with the cleanliness and how long the leg/foot massage lasted. Would HIGHLY recommend! Huge color selection, no wait, and back massage while your toes dry!!!!!! Like whaaaaat. So so so good!!!!! read more

My pedicure was just lovely... the water was perfectly warm, and my nail tech took his time, but it didn't take too long which was good because I was on a time crunch. My manicure on the other hand... I asked for my manicure to be done simultaneously. At first I was told no; it wouldn't take that long. So then I said never mind because I wouldn't have time. So then the manager (I'm assuming he's the manager... I didn't delve into everyone's position) reluctantly said he would do it. I assume (I know.. assuming makes a ......) he didn't want to miss out on the money. I should've told him pedicure only because now, less than 48 hours later, 5 out of my 10 nails are majorly chipped!! Not cool! :( Go for the pedi, skip the mani. read more

I come here all of the time. I love it! Great service especially for the price. If you come during busy hours you won't necessarily feel like you're number one because making sure every guest is taken care of is a priority to them. If you have any issues, talk to Paul. He makes sure you always leave happy. Don't be upset if your needs aren't met if you don't express your issues before walking out the door because you "didn't get taken care of". They aren't mind readers!!! read more

Found this Nail place on Yelp because I am in town for work. Ty did my SNS dip nails. They have a lot more colors to choose from than I've seen anywhere in my home town. Ty is super sweet and took his time to make sure they were perfect. I will come back here next time I'm in town. read more

I cal ahead of time, and they have the walk in policy. Well I go in at 4:20, I tell them I need a wax. I don't get seen until 5:01pm, why I waited that long, I killed time, so not trippen about the time. Oh but it gets better, the older male doing nails, finally directs me to the back. Once I get there , it's a cluttered spot, unclean, and why I didn't leave ? Because I already waited 30 minutes, might as well finish . So he begins putting a plethora of wax, which I asked for an arm pit wax, and allows it to overflow and puts on the strip and I opine to him it's not gonna work, he put too much wax. And he yanks it off and lo and behold, nothing but overdone wax and not much hair . I tell him to please put less wax and to rip it off faster on the correct direction. Again, it was a disaster for me. Oh and when he chose to not put so much wax on, he finished. I told him I am not interested in doing the other arm pit and this fool still charged me $15. Not gonna argue over money but I do want to warn others of this place. I'm not from Amarillo, but I do depend on Yelp a lot to look at reviews. This place had 4 stars, but nope not a 4 star nail salon. read more

My first time here was last week for a shellac mani, with my Christmas gift certificate, and it was amazing! The guy did a great job of making sure I was happy with the number of coats and to not make the deep purple I chose transparent at all. He then asked if I wanted paraffin wax on my hands, I said sure! :) while my hands soaked in the warm wax, he rubbed my shoulders and neck! I was in heaven and was already telling my bf I was coming back the next week for my pedi! I enjoyed two margaritas on the rocks during my salon time also, which were also very tasty. So for all that, on a tuesday, I paid $28 (plus the tip of course) WOW. This is really the start of my review. My second visit was yesterday and I had been suffering from a migraine for 30+ hours at that point. I went in for a pedi hoping the chair would massage my neck and back and relieve my pain. Ty was who I was seated by and he did the most amazing job of accommodating me and my very weary of pedicures boyfriend. He told us all we needed to know about the different types of pedicures and massages. Let me shorten this up by saying ASK FOR TY, HE IS AMAZING, NICE AND TALKS TO YOU AND MAKES YOU FEEL VERY WELCOME, COMFORTABLE AND RELAXED. My boyfriend decided to go with the foot massage, 30 minutes for $25! I got the $30 paraffin pedicure and subbed the hot stones for the wax at no extra cost! He finished my amazing pedi with the best neck rub EVER! Let's day my horrible migraine was gone by the time I left, and I was definitely planning my next trip to Plant Nails already! Monday - Wednesday you can get extra discounts for Manis and pedis for $28 :) read more

Planet Nail and Day Spa - Pedicure pricing - Nail Salons Near Me - Amarillo, Texas

I'm new to town and needed to find a good salon. This was near my new place and had some good reviews on Yelp so I decided to come in for a pedicure and eyebrow wax. First things first. When I got there for my appointment I was brought to the back to get my eyebrows done. The chair itself was filthy. I have long hair which ended up sticking to the chair from old wax that had apparently never been cleaned off. After he was done waxing my eyebrows he showed me how they looked in the mirror. They were lopsided!!!! I was too horrified to even say anything. After the eyebrow fiasco I decided to splurge and opted for the deluxe pedicure with paraffin wax. Surely a nice long leg massage would make me feel better? Nope. He was too busy watching TV to actually pay attention to what he should be doing. This is the first time Yelp has ever let me down. I will certainly never be coming back here again. And I can only pray that my eyebrows grow back in quickly. read more

Great service and pedicure. They had a nerve point tool they used on bottom of feet I'd never experienced before. Friendly and clean. It was great. read more

The only thing they got right was the color and the length on my nails when I went in to get a fill. They didn't even take their time doing my nails so it felt like they where trying to rush me out. I wanted a design and they completely forgot to put it on. They left so much of the dried dried powder on my hands, so I had to scrape and pick off a lot when I got home. Probably won't ever go back. read more

Friendly excellent pedi and what a nice treat with even a neck massage. Whow! Thank you

This is the best nail salon I've been to in Amarillo. They really took the time and focused on my pedicure. Love it!

So I am trying to find a way to rationalize a trip to get a pedicure weekly after my visit! This was a great experience-lovely ambience, very attentive nail artists, free beverages, and a massage while my toes were drying! Coupled with a variety of available services for overall a reasonable price, this nail spa is a winner that I'll soon be visiting again! read more

This. Place. Is. Amazing. I am originally from Houston, and I'd drive 10 hours from there to this place any day just to get the pedicures here. I've gotten their "Texas" or "Texan" pedicure many times, totally wonderful. My toes looked so good! They massage your back while your toes dry too! I got solar nails as well- very pretty. The value is good. If you go on m-w they do $28 standard pedis which are also great! read more

Well, I'm back again before I leave town and was not disappointed. Ty did a great job again and he's so much fun to chat with. I wish I could pack the salon up and take it back home. I LOVE this place! So friendly, great nails and clean as well. I'll see y'all in the spring! read more

My niece, my father and myself heard about this place! Dad lives in Amarillo but my niece and I are from out of town. It was great! Too bad we didn't hear about this last year! Ty and the two other people were so courteous ! My dad is 84 and it was his first time for pedicure and chair massage. We all loved it. We couldn't believe the shoulder/chair massage was included. $30 for pedi, parafin, salt scrub, glass of wine, and shoulder massage!!! Amazing!! read more
