There was no special care required for the jeans other than a request for laundry. It was not during any holiday or shutdown time. How ridiculous!!! Secondly, the laundromat is primarily frequented by minorities which is why I think the owner isn't concerned with repairing so many of the machines that have been unoperable for several months. After frequencing the facility for nearly a year and still seeing the same washers and dryers out of order, I inquired with the manager on duty as to why the machines weren't repaired timely which would speed up the wait time during peak hours? The woman became offensive and lied and stated that one washer cost $50,000 to repair. Now, we all know that is not true and most laundromat facilities rent the machines and there are service agreements in place for repairs. As well, I usually frequent the laundromat at night and the floors and machines are not always clean, despite staff being present but usually in the office with the door closed and on the phone on personal phone calls. The onsite manager was so offended by my timely repair question that she became unruly and unprofessional and then talked about my inquiry to a hispanic employee who decided to pick up the unprofessionalism and challenge me also. At the end of the day, my money matters and I choose to spend it where I receive good customer service and feel valued as a customer.
