Found this wonderful endosurgery Doctor in Manteca, CA. I was referred to him by a good friend when I just so happened to have an abcess which never bothered me but I knew it had to be removed. The office is not your typical dental surgery office of closed doors and a very un inviting environment. Think of a open kitchen restaurant concept. The office design puts you at ease without realizing you will be having dental surgery done. The office staff are fantastic, they are very efficient to explain if your insurance coverage and what your financial responsibilities are. Dr. Le's dental assistants are very cognizant of what is involved and will insure you have a very pleasant outcome. One thing that stood out was how early the dental assistant will apply the numbing gel around the area to be injected so you are perfectly numbed prior to the local injection. Trust me I've had past experience's when the numbing gel did not have time to take effect and I'm writhing while the local was being administered, no fun at all. Dr. Le also utilizes a distraction vibration device while administering the local meds, works for me, even though I realize it should be hurting but you are distracted with the device. During the procedure, the dental assistant is very aware and will insure that your mouth stays dry by suctioning appropriately and will solicit you also if there is a buildup of saliva if a dental dam is used, because saliva buildup is not readily visible due to the dental dam obstructing the view. This was the best pain free experience I've had for dental surgery in all my experience's. I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Le if you should happen to need dental surgery. read more

I went in for a consultation based on a referral from my regular dentist. I have had a tooth that had given me issues for years but only pain off and on. It has finally become frequently painful. Consultation says that i have actually cracked it now. I went ahead and ok'd a root canal and was very nervous. The entire staff was welcoming, helpful, explained everything to me, addressed my concerns and checked on me the entire time making sure i was comfortable. If I could give zero stars I would!!! I was referred here after a MINOR INTERMITTENT ache in an old root canal. I saw Dr. lee. who the very first consult, looked at an X-ray said "yep we need to do a revision to your root canal so we will get it scheduled here. Thanks" and he walked out. I had a gut feeling to not come back but I did. I thought it was just my anxiety over the dentist that was worrying me. I came back for the root canal about two weeks later. When I saw him I said I'd like to know what's going to happen today. He said well we will do a revision to your root canal I'll put some medication in and then you'll come back to fill it back up and finish it. So a two step appointment. I said what about extraction because I honestly don't think I want to go through another root canal. He told me no that he can save the tooth and wouldn't pull it. I tried to tell myself I was just being anxious and I let him do the root canal. They gave me zero after care instructions and sent me on my way. I went home and the very night I knew something was wrong. I was in a significant amount of pain. I thought it would get better so I called them on day three because day three it was unbearable. I had not eaten or slept in three days. I was exhausted, crying, and in major major pain. The girl who answered the phone was very rude and seemed like she didn't care. She said "uh yeah it's normal for the pain to peak on day three. This is normal" I said "THIS IS NOT NORMAL!!! I have had teeth pulled and I've had a root canal before. This is wrong!! I cannot sleep or even eat!!" She said "yes the pain peaks on day three it should get better" i told her then I need pain meds because I can't sleep. She asked if there was facial swelling. I told her no because at the time there was not. She said she would talk to Dr. lee and call me back. So she said ok.. he will send some antibiotics and pain meds to the pharmacy. I picked up a Z pack and tramadol. I went home tramadol helped me sleep but did not help with the pain and then it made me vomit. I suffered another night. I woke up day 4 and my entire face was three times the normal size and if you could imagine more pain it was more. I called once again and was told by the same rude girl "you have to give the antibiotics time to work!" I lost it on her. I said "YOU GUYS DID NOT WANT TO GIVE ME THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!! Now your saying let them work?!?" She said "yes it takes more than a day but let me talk to dr lee. I told her to tell him that I want the tooth out like I asked for in the first place. I cannot go through another round of this. She said ok and hung up. I had a gut feeling so I called the dentist that referred me and told her the guy you referred me too messed up my face and told them everything. They told me to come down right away and I guess they called dr lee because suddenly dr Lee's office called me and asked if I could come to their Tracy office. I said yes but I ended up not going thankfully because valley oak dental saw the facial swelling and sent me to Dr. Grecco. He said there's a bad infection and the tooth needed to come out immediately and he took me off the antibiotics I needed something stronger and a different pain medication. That night I had a fever I had body aches I felt generally ill due to the infection. The very next day Dr. Grecco pulled the tooth and I felt so much better. I'm a week post op and I feel way better and I'm healing well. He had to drain an ABSCESS that formed!!! And pull the tooth. Dr. Lee's office called the day I didn't show to the appointment. I said "yes I got a second opinion and I have a major infection that now has led to me having to loose the tooth!!! So don't contact me again. And I won't be paying you a dime for the malpractice." She simply said "I'll let dr lee know the route your choosing and hung up" ABSOLUTELY A NIGHTMARE. I could have become septic in the time that they kept telling me to wait because it's "normal" I am just appalled. I was supposed to pay them a copay on the second appointment and I can promise they will be sued if they come after me for a dime after what they've done. I will also be requesting my records this week to have on hand. NIGHTMARE. lack of compassion and making their clients feel at ease. Never ever again. Do not come here. read more
