The Delta Biscuit was a fantastic gem to find in Monroe. The food is seriously amazing!!! We got the Nola Bowl and Biscuits and Gravy. The Nola Bowl is where it's at. Our visit was on Sunday around 11:30 a.m. and it was pretty busy, so we sat at the bar. The bartenders were fun and very responsive. The atmosphere was fun and busy. We had a good shot of the kitchen window and I have to say every dish coming out looked amazing! We will definitely visit again when we drive back through town.

Make a reservation! They are busy- for good reason. Good breakfast/brunch spot. I don't think I've ever seen them NOT busy. Food is tasty. Biscuits are warm and fluffy (forgot a pic) - ask for extra butter! Service has always been wonderful. Benedict's on the biscuits are delicious. Drinks are good! Would recommend.

Table of 3 and we all enjoyed everything! A 25-minute wait turned into 5 minutes. Waiter was excellent, despite busyness of restaurant. Everything came surprisingly fast, seasoned well, nothing over or undercooked, and agreeable portions. New restaurant in a new plaza, so it's very clean, cute, and ample parking. Our bill came to $87-VERY fair: three mocktails (they're not called that but I don't want to just say "drinks"), six beignets, Louisiana redfish, shrimp and grits, and a burger plate. On our way out, we were thanked by at least four team members.

I enjoyed Delta Biscuit Company! I knew it would be good by all the people waiting outside. Even so, the wait wasn't too long. The food was good and the prices are reasonable. I had the (fried chicken) biscuit sandwich with a side of Gouda grits and a ginger juice. The biscuit was nice and fluffy. It came with a whipped spread - the flavor was amazing. I am not sure of the flavor, but it was maybe pecan and brown sugar. I liked it! The chicken was seasoned well without overpowering the rest of the biscuit. My friend had shrimp and grits. The flavor on that pretty good too. The ginger juice was okay. Could use a touch of honey or OJ maybe. But to be honest, I can appreciate that it doesn't have added sugar. Prices were reasonable. Great service. Overall, I'd return to try a few other things.

It was Easter Sunday, and they were very busy! However, the wait was only about 25 minutes, and from the time we were seated to the completion of our meal, it was about 30 minutes. They were smooth! The service, the kitchen, the rotation on the floor--this place is a well-oiled machine! Now for the food! It was absolutely delicious! Every bite was fresh and seasoned very well. We started with the Deviled Eggs, and these were delectable. The Gouda Grits were cooked wonderfully, and the shrimp was also perfectly cooked. I had a side of Brussels sprouts for some Green vegetables, and they were roasted beautifully with a bit of a pepper kick. Nice! The rest of my party thoroughly enjoyed their entrees, too. We will be back!

Nice area~ Food was fresh, attendant in the Drive-Thru was super kind & I did have to go inside as it took awhile & she asked us to pull up so we did & then I went to check out the interior decor & the hostess held the door as soon as she saw me which was like 25 feet before the entrance- like literally as soon as I stepped foot on their sidewalk- the inside is trendy but the star of the show was no doubt the Gouda Grits- makes your tongue slap your mouth! We also ordered the wafflewich with fried chicken, duck fat hash-browns, mess of biscuits w/Louisiana cane butter & 4 beignets as well as a hot & also a iced mocha pecan coffees- everything was excellent- our only complaint was the hash-brown portion was rather small. We'll definitely stop back in for a visit!

Wow! Wow! Wow! As a flight attendant I get to go to a lot of places to eat. My FO found this on Yelp so we thought we would try it out. It was so good we came back the next morning bc we had another layover the next night. It was fantastic! The duck fat hash browns...oh...my...gosh!!! The biscuits...yummmm!! They have fabulous food but they also have craft coffees and cocktails! I can't wait to go again... maybe for lunch.

What a pleasant surprise. I just came here for breakfast because I had an hour to kill before my kid's baseball game. The place is really nice and the staff is very friendly. Both the bartender and the owner or manager noticed my UL-Lafayette hat and commented on it (not negatively). I got eggs over medium, a side of crispy bacon and hash browns. Hands down the best thing I ate all weekend.

I have to have it to them, Delta Biscuit Company serves up some yummy brunch food! We started with appetizers of Brussels Sprouts and Deviled Eggs--both tasty. I was dining with Tony and my brother, and we all got the same thing--the Lafourche Omelette, which had veggies and tons of protein including Tasso ham, chicken, and sausage. The omelette was good, but I secretly wished we had ordered different dishes so we could try some variety. We drank the night before so we stayed away from cocktails, but the ones I saw delivered to neighboring tables looked good. As for the wait staff, they were all knowledgeable and kind. And, the atmosphere is contemporary and inviting... and super clean. We sat at the long bar near where the chefs were prepping the food. It was enjoyable watching them.

This is my second visit each have been a home-run. Great food especially its namesake biscuits with Steen syrup. I enjoyed a veggie frittata with green salad, biscuits. Great ambiance and spectacular service. Our coffees were perfect and the food didn't fail to impress! I got the shrimp and Gouda grits with a lone biscuit on the side. My niece told me about this place, so my husband and I thought we'd try it out. We had a tiny bit of a wait, but so worth staying for. The hostess was welcoming and witty. Once seated the waitress very friendly and attentive, and knew the menu well. Everything we ordered was delicious! The avocado spread was very flavorful and the jammy eggs on the avocado toast were done perfectly. The Bayou Maçon omelet with Gouda grits was outstanding. I don't even know where to start! I looked up coffee in the area and this came up. It had a great rating so I talked the hubby into going. We were passing through this area on our drive home so we didn't know anything about the local restaurants. Even before we walked in, we were joyfully greeted by a gentleman serving people outside. Someone then opened the door for us-then we were greeted again and shown to a table. The decor, the clean open kitchen, the customer service already had me before I had even tasted the food! Our server was fabulous and so was the coffee! It's strong chicory Louisiana coffeeI had the eggs Benedict and my husband had the biscuit egg sandwich with fried chicken in it. Both were AMAZING! We highly recommend Delta Biscuit Company to anyone in the area or passing through. We spent the night in Monroe on our way to Texas and were told we couldn't leave without eating here. Our server, Tom, graciously helped us figure out safe meals for two kids with food allergies and they loved their breakfast. The cane sugar butter alone is worth a visit. Rude staff - my daughter and I stopped here to try them out for the first time. We walked in - stood there in the door for several mins. And then a waitress walked over to us and told us it would be about a 15 to 20 min wait. There were only a few tables with people sitting at them. The entire dining area was empty. So I asked if we could be seated in the meantime and was told NO. When I asked for an explanation- I was told they only had 1 waitress and they weren't seating more than she could wait on. Passing thru town and decided to try this spot out - and boy are we glad we did!! As their name would indicate, their biscuits are amazing - and they accompanied the delicious pimento cheese (with bacon and chow-chow) appetizer we ordered. I had the Pork Belly Sandwich, wife had two sides: Gouda Grits and Roasted Brussels Sprouts; all were super good. And although we rarely have dessert, we ordered the beignets and they were also wonderful! (With plenty to take home with us as well!) Also - one of the owners was moving about the restaurant continually while we were there checking on guests and assisting his staff - which, by the way, provided great service. The food lasted us the whole week and we were able to share with visitors who stopped by. The fruit was gorgeous and very tasty. I had an overall positive experience initially--the food was excellent, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the service was good up until the end of my visit. However, I encountered a serious issue with billing that was not handled appropriately. After paying for my meal, I later noticed that I had been charged twice, which caused my bank account to go into overdraft. I contacted my bank to confirm the charges, and they verified that both transactions were processed by the restaurant. I called the restaurant that same day and left a voicemail since they were closed, but I did not receive a response. The following day, I called again and spoke with a manager. Unfortunately, the response I received was disappointing. I was told they would need to check with the general manager and that I should call back later, as well as contact my bank to dispute the charge. At no point was a clear solution or immediate assistance offered, despite the issue originating from the restaurant. This situation was not only inconvenient but also embarrassing, as I discovered the overdraft while trying to pay for an outing with my children. I understand that mistakes can happen, especially during training, but the lack of urgency and accountability in resolving the issue was frustrating. I hope this feedback encourages better handling of similar situations in the future. A employee by the name of Jonathan reached out to me to make sure the issue was resolved . Great food but takes an hour to get a seat and it is great fresh food but when you can go to Waffle House and get next to the same In 10 min and 25% of the cost in this time of Joe Biden and his inflation I can't see spending the time and money to get a meal a little better and a whole lot more expensive than Waffle House.
