This place was THE BOMB!! Our waiter was Will, who was super friendly and a great server. We're here from TX traveling to visit family in Monroe. We got 4 dishes: Eggs benedict, biscuit egg sammy w/bacon, parfait, and something else--an omelet of some sort. Everything was DELICIOUS. Also, get the pecan coffee--it was TO DIE FOR! DO NOT SLEEP on the duck fat hashbrowns OR the grits---seriously, just get both. We did. It was so good, we ordered breakie sammies to go on our way out of town--and they gave us extra cinnamon butter and cutie little jarred jams and honey for the biscuits. I had my reservations upon entering but they were soon at ease. This place is the perfect combination of southern comfort with a city feel. I think it's the perfect spot Monroe needed for brunch. From the bottomless mimosas for only ($15) to the fluffy biscuits with the cane butter . I had the chicken and waffles and they were good. If you want something GREAT- I would suggest the chicken platter-(seasoned to PERFECTION) I'm not sure what they're doing to the chicken but it was AMAZING! We waited about 25-30 minutes for a party of 5. The hosts were nice and friendly. Our server wasn't as fast as she could've been but her hospitality was great. The servers were nice and said several times thanks for choosing to dine with us- to me that says A-LOT! The owner came by our table several times to make sure we were ok and made sure everything tasted ok. I would definitely recommend this place and I'll definitely be back! The only downside to this place is parking. I would suggest riding together if multiple people are coming. read more

Hostess was polite and friendly. The burger is a double patty so be hungry if you order it . The sauce on the burger is a mayonnaise and mustard mix . Burger was cheesy, hot ,and juicy w lots of flavor. Well seasoned fries . The parfait was also good, I added honey to this one along with the blueberries and strawberries over granola. Tried Delta Biscuit Company for the first time yesterday. The entire experience did not disappoint. The food, environment, and stay were above awesome. Food: I went with a group of three so we sampled several items. Deviled Eggs: Super creamy, flavorful and fresh tasting. The crispy pork belly on top was tender and definitely my favorite part. The Mess of Biscuits: Fluffy, moist, and fresh. I'm not a big fan of bread, but the other guest raves about them. I have them a taste and wasn't disappointed. The Delta Slam: Get the Jammy Eggs and Hashbrowns‼You want regret it. I could eat the Duck-fat Hashbrowns alone. The Lafourche Omelette: Huge portion. DBC did not hold back on the amount of meat and veggies included. Everything about the onelette was mouthwatering. It was cooked to perfection, seasoned perfectly, and brought out piping hot. Heaping mound of Gouda grits on the side. The texture of the grits is amazing. The Banana Foster: Freshly made. Again, I am amazed by the portions in comparison with the price point. DBC does not disappoint. The Wafflewich: Least favorite of the group, but still no less than 4 stars. The waffles were a bit overcooked by our personal preferences. The bottomless mimosas were our favorite part. Alongside the freshly squeezed juices. Environment: It's bright. It's fun. Very modern, but somehow it feels like it's been around for some time. Staff: The owner( I assume) was very attentive. He visited our table at east three times to ensure we were happy customers. Maura(waitress) was very fun and friendly. She was great at making her rounds to each table in order to make sure we didn't need anything else. The hostess with the short cut was very welcoming and friendly as well. Overall: 5/5. I went for brunch on a Sunday morning, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. I really liked the ambiance. I ordered some coffee and the Wafflewich. It was okay. It had no flavor. It was like they sprinkled a little salt and pepper in the flour of the fried chicken but didn't season the chicken itself. Also, the breading was soft, not crisp. The cheese was not very good either. I think it was one of those yellow american cheese single slices. I think I might try this place again but order something else. read more

I hear a lot of folks rave about this place and we love biscuits! So, hubs and I went for our anniversary breakfast. I guess this place just isn't everyone's cup of tea. Hubs actually liked his food well enough (which is why I'll give this place two stars). But, he also said the food didn't justify the menu price. I would have eaten my food and been happier with Waffle House or another low-rate breakfast establishment. Not because I enjoy cigarette ash in my has browns, or enough saturated fat for high-risk heart attack, but because I believe breakfast food should bring comfort and joy and not break the bank. I'd concede and say it was just the dish I ordered, but I didn't find the biscuits held up to being the restaurant's namesake. I guess when I hear "Delta Biscuits", I picture more of a fluffy and delicious carbohydrate with slightly ridges of crispy delight along the top and less of a densely packed combination of flour and sadness. My original post did not address the ambiance. And since the owner found my post worthy of his time to respond to it, I have decided to elaborate a bit. Because I do pride myself on giving credit where credit is due (my reviews are equal opportunity, where I share the good and bad-- generally based on my own personal experience). The ambiance was nice, it had a high-class atmosphere, indeed! You are greeted by waitstaff telling you good morning and there is not only beautiful artwork, but the furniture is nice. This place looks fancy feels like you're in a diff city .Has good lighting and nice furnitures. Their staff are friendly. We ordered beignets, eggs benedict with hushbrown, and parfait. All of it were good but their beignets are the best, it was very soft. We were not able to finish it so we brought it home and I was surprised when we ate it the next day because its texture is still the same! Its one of their bests. I gave it 4/5 because of the location, it don't have enough parking space and if in a rush to get brunch this is not the best place to go because it takes a long time to wait. I don't even know where to start! I looked up coffee in the area and this came up. It had a great rating so I talked the hubby into going. We were passing through this area on our drive home so we didn't know anything about the local restaurants. Even before we walked in, we were joyfully greeted by a gentleman serving people outside.
