Best breakfast and brunch anywhere! The food is amazing. The service is awesome. You can't get better service in Monroe. This restaurant is really clean and they fixed the A/C. You can eat outside at cute tables or inside if you are warm natured. We've tried the Reuben, chicken fried steak, chicken and waffles, and breakfast. We have never been disappointed! If you like Brussels sprouts, you can't miss with this side. Consider getting an order of beignets for the table. They are As good as Cafe DuMonde in New Orleans. Personally, the biscuits are my favorite. The only thing is that the biscuits are so large that I can never eat mine and I can't always take it with me.. The Gouda grits are wonderful if you like grits. Anytime we have guests, we take them to the Delta Biscuit Company for brunch. I am so glad that Monroe has a place like this. I tried to come here on a weekend and it was extremely busy. I think the wait for two people was over an hour. I tried again during a weekday for lunch around 11:30. Since I was alone I sat at the bar and the service was great. I got the delta slam and it was amazing. I ordered my hash browns crispy, which I regret. I normally do that at places like Ihop bc the hash browns there are usually soggy, but here they would have been perfect had i not intervened. The eggs are really fluffy and the bacon isn't the translucent junk you get at most breakfast places. There was a crunch to the bacon which I LOVE. The real star was the biscuit with butter. The biscuit is in the name, so I should've guessed it would be good. I wanted to order a dozen with the butter to take home! I think it's an apple butter, it reminds me of fall. The biscuit is warm and fluffy and a little salty in places from butter, then you have the sweet apple butter to add to it. HEAVEN. The only problem is I noticed as I was leaving it was getting slammed, everyone seems to already know the food is great. If I could give negative stars I would, to say that my past visit to this establishment was horrible would be a major understatement, to get it out of the way the food was okay and our server was great. The water though...was rancid enough to make my girlfriend sick, which they pour as soon as you get to the table so it's the first thing you get. If you would like to experience it simply scoop some dirt and put it in your mouth pour some water in and then lick a rusty lead pipe and boom you've got it down, so water isn't the only drink in the world it's okay just get a soda right....no...replace the water in that scenario with a soda of your choice and the results are the same. We were not the only people who experienced this, everyone around us complained. The waiter said the water had been like this for 6 months at this point and that they refused to drink it. We ended up getting orange juice which was okay but I felt that since I had been forced to get it if I wanted anything to drink that it should at least be taken off of the order. Well that wasn't as easy as it sounds, I located the manager and that's when things just got worse, I kindly explained the situation and asked if the drinks could be removed to which she laughed at me and said that the water had been tested three days ago and that they can't just go around taking drinks off of orders, she said that plenty of people had complained but the water was supposedly "tested" and deemed legal, I told the manager that there was no way you could serve this to people and she said "well we do" and eventually she said she would take the drinks off "this time" which will definitely be the last time for me or anyone that I know. The manager was extremely rude and completely ignored the issue while laughing in my face. Our server told us we could write our reviews on some tell us how we did slips which I'm sure just get ripped up. Ambiance was eh. I had my reservations upon entering but they were soon at ease. This place is the perfect combination of southern comfort with a city feel. I think it's the perfect spot Monroe needed for brunch. From the bottomless mimosas for only ($15) to the fluffy biscuits with the cane butter . I had the chicken and waffles and they were good. If you want something GREAT- I would suggest the chicken platter-(seasoned to PERFECTION) I'm not sure what they're doing to the chicken but it was AMAZING! We waited about 25-30 minutes for a party of 5. The hosts were nice and friendly. Our server wasn't as fast as she could've been but her hospitality was great. The servers were nice and said several times thanks for choosing to dine with us- to me that says A-LOT! The owner came by our table several times to make sure we were ok and made sure everything tasted ok. I would definitely recommend this place and I'll definitely be back! The only downside to this place is parking. I would suggest riding together if multiple people are coming. read more

First time ordering so I ordered through toast app and got the beignets, yogurt/ fruit parfait, and cheese burger with fries . They have a drive Thru to pick up your orders. Hostess was polite and friendly. The burger is a double patty so be hungry if you order it . The sauce on the burger is a mayonnaise and mustard mix . Burger was cheesy, hot ,and juicy w lots of flavor. Well seasoned fries . The parfait was also good, I added honey to this one along with the blueberries and strawberries over granola. We got 4 dishes: Eggs benedict, biscuit egg sammy w/bacon, parfait, and something else--an omelet of some sort. Everything was DELICIOUS. Also, get the pecan coffee--it was TO DIE FOR! DO NOT SLEEP on the duck fat hashbrowns OR the grits---seriously, just get both. We did. It was so good, we ordered breakie sammies to go on our way out of town--and they gave us extra cinnamon butter and cutie little jarred jams and honey for the biscuits. Tried Delta Biscuit Company for the first time yesterday. The entire experience did not disappoint. The food, environment, and stay were above awesome. Food: I went with a group of three so we sampled several items. Deviled Eggs: Super creamy, flavorful and fresh tasting. The crispy pork belly on top was tender and definitely my favorite part. The Mess of Biscuits: Fluffy, moist, and fresh. I'm not a big fan of bread, but the other guest raves about them. I have them a taste and wasn't disappointed. The Delta Slam: Get the Jammy Eggs and Hashbrowns‼You want regret it. I could eat the Duck-fat Hashbrowns alone. The Lafourche Omelette: Huge portion. DBC did not hold back on the amount of meat and veggies included. Everything about the onelette was mouthwatering. It was cooked to perfection, seasoned perfectly, and brought out piping hot. Heaping mound of Gouda grits on the side. The texture of the grits is amazing. The Banana Foster: Freshly made. Again, I am amazed by the portions in comparison with the price point. DBC does not disappoint. The Wafflewich: Least favorite of the group, but still no less than 4 stars. The waffles were a bit overcooked by our personal preferences. The bottomless mimosas were our favorite part. Alongside the freshly squeezed juices. Environment: It's bright. It's fun. Very modern, but somehow it feels like it's been around for some time. Staff: The owner( I assume) was very attentive. He visited our table at east three times to ensure we were happy customers. Maura(waitress) was very fun and friendly. She was great at making her rounds to each table in order to make sure we didn't need anything else. The hostess with the short cut was very welcoming and friendly as well. Overall: 5/5. I went for brunch on a Sunday morning, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. I really liked the ambiance. I ordered some coffee and the Wafflewich. It was okay. It had no flavor. It was like they sprinkled a little salt and pepper in the flour of the fried chicken but didn't season the chicken itself. Also, the breading was soft, not crisp. The cheese was not very good either. I think it was one of those yellow american cheese single slices. I think I might try this place again but order something else. read more

I hear a lot of folks rave about this place and we love biscuits! So, hubs and I went for our anniversary breakfast. I guess this place just isn't everyone's cup of tea. Hubs actually liked his food well enough (which is why I'll give this place two stars). But, he also said the food didn't justify the menu price. I would have eaten my food and been happier with Waffle House or another low-rate breakfast establishment. Not because I enjoy cigarette ash in my has browns, or enough saturated fat for high-risk heart attack, but because I believe breakfast food should bring comfort and joy and not break the bank. I guess when I hear "Delta Biscuits", I picture more of a fluffy and delicious carbohydrate with slightly ridges of crispy delight along the top and less of a densely packed combination of flour and sadness. My original post did not address the ambiance. And since the owner found my post worthy of his time to respond to it, I have decided to elaborate a bit. Because I do pride myself on giving credit where credit is due (my reviews are equal opportunity, where I share the good and bad-- generally based on my own personal experience). The ambiance was nice, it had a high-class atmosphere, indeed! You are greeted by waitstaff telling you good morning and there is not only beautiful artwork, but the furniture is nice.
