Everything came surprisingly fast, seasoned well, nothing over or undercooked, and agreeable portions. New restaurant in a new plaza, so it's very clean, cute, and ample parking. Our bill came to $87-VERY fair: three mocktails (they're not called that but I don't want to just say "drinks"), six beignets, Louisiana redfish, shrimp and grits, and a burger plate. The service, the kitchen, the rotation on the floor--this place is a well-oiled machine! Now for the food! It was absolutely delicious! Every bite was fresh and seasoned very well. We started with the Deviled Eggs, and these were delectable. The Gouda Grits were cooked wonderfully, and the shrimp was also perfectly cooked. I was headed back to Houston and wanted to grab something quick. This place had 4 stars so I decided to try. I ordered the mini biscuits, the pancakes and an omelet with the cheese grits. I have to say everything was mid. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The biscuits had a good taste but was kind of dry. I even tried them with honey and jelly, they were still dry. The omelet was ok but the staff forgot my hot sauce so that may have helped. The pancake was ok but not great. The cheese grits were a overall no. They were not creamy or smooth.
