Just get a plate, sit down, and share some and all will be good. They are crispy on the edges and so fluffy inside. The honey butter they come with is also so good. It's whipped and fluffy! The biscuits look like large scones, but they truly are so unbelievably fluffy yet crispy. We were traveling through on our way home and we wound up eating there twice because the whole family loved it. Of course all of the other food was delicious, but I'd consider the 7 hour drive back just for their biscuits. Yum!!! Service was amazing. Even some rude customers didn't let it shake them up and provide great service to everyone. That's dedication and staying focused on the goal. This place is a gem! They catered an event for us and they absolutely crushed it. They were friendly and easy to work with and the biscuits, especially the mini biscuits were the best that I have ever eaten. I highly recommend eating in, taking out or having them cater an event. Traveling East from Dallas we got hungry just before Monroe. It was Just before noon on Sunday and ll the chain restaurants along Interstate 20 were slammed. I am not a chain restaurant person so I consulted Yelp. DBC is a few miles off the interstate but it is oh so worth it! It is only open from 7:00 to 3:00 for brunch and lunch. Everything we ate was beyond yummy. JJ was our server and I can't say enough good things about him... he even folded my napkin while I was in the "necessary room". I have been to delta biscuit 10 times and the food has been amazing. Unfortunately the last time was not so good. I ordered the chicken and waffles and the waffles were cold and undercooked. They took them back and brought me new ones that were cold and undercooked also. It seemed they did not care about it at all. I hope their service gets better in the future.
