Yes, please!!! Southern breakfast OR baked delicacies are great. Coffee is heavenly Community Coffee... best Louisiana has. Highly recommend getting muffins to go to share with the office. They have great light lunch options and even a delicious to-go catering. I recommend picking up a pan of chicken enchiladas to go! read more

Went on a rainy day and honestly was the best thing ever. It was cozy inside. The soup of the day was Taco soup I think and honestly was a 10/10. I also got the club sandwich and it was mid. Overall the experience was great. Would definitely go again. The servers are also really nice. read more

normally i would post a photo.: but the moment passed and alas i forgot! oh well.. so this lil coffee shop is neatly tucked in to a corner of a not so busy street in the middle of the sleepy(?) town of monroe la. they have an amazing selection of pre made food that comes from their own kitchen. have not had the pleasure of actually getting anything from their pre made selection, but it is on the list of things to do. i did have the pleasure of partaking of their breakfast bowl.. super delicious and everything is made exactly how you order it. if you ever have a moment or a day to do nothing, make it a point to come to this little corner shop and see what they have to offer.. 5 stars, totally recommend, will do again! read more

I had a lovely experience here! The staff greeted me and took my order immediately! I quickly had my coffee and cinnamon roll and took a seat at an outdoor table on a gorgeous morning. My coffee was warm, but drinkable and the cinnamon roll was yummy but would have been better warmed. My loaded bacon egg and cheese biscuit was brought out to me and surpassed my expectations. Delicious! Bacon was well cooked with a fresh egg and melted cheese! I was allowed to just chill and enjoy my breakfast. I ended with a nice extra hot latte that was perfect! read more

I had not been to the Coffee Bean since the last time I have been in Monroe, LA, in 2001. The coffee shop had moved into it's own building in another location. I was glad to see it still around. Atmosphere: Very modern, very clean, and has plenty of seating. The dining area is very large for a coffee shop. There section to order drinks also has a small refrigerated display with some food items in it. There is a counter with a fountain drink dispenser, as well as mugs, and cups available for brewed coffee. There is plenty of lighting and windows. Restrooms were very clean, and attended to. Food/drink: I had ordered a soy au lait, I had asked for the soy to be steamed to a lower temperature, which they happily obliged. One of my friends had ordered a customized drink, and that had come out just right as well. Another friend had ordered chocolate chip pancakes, it was large, fluffy and delicious. I do not remember the original Coffee Bean having breakfast options available. I am surprised that not very many espresso-based drinks were being ordered at the register for the 45 minutes we were there. Service: There were plenty of employees/baristas behind the counter. They were all friendly, repeated our orders back to us for confirmation, and very quick with their service. If I ever make it back to Monroe again, I will be back here. I love to support local businesses, and this one would be one to support, if in need for coffee. read more

Awesome breakfast and lunch spot! Been coming here off and on for years and have never had a bad experience. They have delicious breakfast (quiche of the day is always good) and coffee selection is fantastic. This is also the perfect spot to pick up a frozen soup or casserole for dinner on busy week nights. Today I had the chicken tortilla soup and the berry salad with chicken. Their chicken salad is delicious too and have had it many times. Also recommend the marble club. Don't skip dessert either! read more

The food was good, but they forgot most of our order so I had to drive all the way back.. & they still forgot some of the food. I also asked when I called my order in if they could put my cinnamon pecan pancake in a separate box than the chocolate chip, because my bf is allergic to pecans.. they didn't do that either, so he didn't get to eat his pancake. They also weren't taking a card so that was pretty inconvenient as well. read more

Walked into this restaurant and was not acknowledged at all until I left 15 minutes after sitting down. Other people walked in and sat down and got service, I expected more from this restaurant. Important to note that we were in plain view of the waiting staff and they still refused to even greet us. read more

I was sooooo excited to find out Monroe had a coffee bean! They have a drive thru too if in the area I'll definitely go back. The proves are about the same as Starbucks but it's a nice alternative. They also have more good options. I didn't like how the inside of it was messy & had storage everywhere when I went so I don't recommend eating in but a perfect drive thru quick stop place to visit! read more

Paid nearly seven dollars for the breakfast bowl (bacon, egg, and grits), which is basically a cup of grits (3/4 of the cup was just grits) ... Won't be buying from this restaurant again. Heard the coffee is good though. read more

Best lasagna ever! Everything here is really good. Very friendly staff. I would highly recommend everything here.
