I'm in town for a week and was looking for coffee. I found this shop and gave it a try. The staff is friendly and pretty fast. I mostly drink espresso and it's a little different than I'm used to, but still very drinkable. There are a selection of delicious looking sweets, though I didn't try them since I'm on a diet, but they looked good. I've been here twice so far on my trip and think it will be my coffee shop for the rest of this trip. read more

We stopped here for several reasons: 1. Starbucks was too far away; 2. It was one of the spots listed int he Duck Commander Hometown Tour; 3. It was super cute! The barista there was SUPER SWEET! She humored me by telling me about the episode of Duck Commander that was filmed there and about her interactions with Jep when he comes through the drive-thru. The coffee was deeelish! I had a small iced coffee w/soy milk and caramel; my friend had a frapp-type drink, and it was OHHH SOOO YUMMY. I would definitely return - in fact, I am planning my next trip up there. This is my absolute favorite spot to get my fix in Monroe/West Monroe for my espresso addiction! They have a large variety of flavor combinations, which are all delish...my favorite has to be Andy's Mint with an extra shot (or two). The staff here is always kind and helpful. Let me say that I love the Louisiana hospitality. Everyone here is super friendly and love the "yes and no ma'am" responses. This place exudes this hospitality. Ok, so I came here because the Duck Dynasty crew was there for an episode (make fun of me all you want.) Little did I know that this was right behind our hotel when we checked in. Bonus! While we were in West Monroe, we made several stops regardless of where we were in WM throughout the weekend here because the coffees were amazing, cheaper and way better than Starbucks. If they had a royalty card (not sure if they did) we would have filled it up during our brief stay. They sell some pastries also have a drive thru. Due to the drive thru, I felt like for them to crank out drinks came out a little slow. If you go there in a rush or explodes within 5 minutes of not having coffee, you might explode. I'm from the west coast; where things are expected to come out fast or you'll hear angry customers; so that's what I'm kinda used to. The workers there were so nice and respectful and the coffee was so gewd, the wait wasn't a big deal. This place is right off the I-20, so its easy to go get some great coffee and continue driving. They compete with Starbucks hours, so they are open early and close kinda late, around eight. Lol, hey! They are closed on Sunday. Boo! but understandable. The coffee shop is up for sale. If I had the money, I would buy it (so I had a valid excuse to move to Louisiana), that good. read more
