I did not get my order wrong, but I ordered it wrong and he gave me advice on what to order next and he still gave it for me for free which I'm so grateful for another time. It was very slow and I had to leave for work so I had to come back and get my order and they gave me everything that I needed the next day, I love it. This is truly the absolute worst Starbucks I've ever visited. It doesn't matter if there is one car ahead of you or 10. You will wait 20-30 minutes in the drive through. Their rules and regulations are never consistent. Some staff are pleasant while others (including management) are extremely rude. I've gotten ice cold food from them. We desperately need another chain in town bc customers will be in lines so long they block traffic (not Starbucks fault, obviously). I can handle the long lines, the long waits even when the line is short but cold food and rude service should be unacceptable. read more

Poor customer!!! I'm from Los Angeles and very use to the upbeat personalities of the employees that work for Starbucks! Friendly and engaging. The employees, at this location seemed unhappy and uncommunicative. When we walked in, there was no one at the cash register ready to assist and no one acknowledged our presence to even say "we will be right with you" After about 5mins of standing there, my husband finally asked if anyone will be able to assist us. The gentleman that helped us seemed bothered which is kinda weird considering that's his job.... Normally, I would have walked out... but considering we don't know the area and wasn't too sure of any other coffee shops around here, we reluctantly patronized this place... bottom line your service and attitude sucks... giving a poor experience of the "southern hospitality." I don't know about these bad reviews because I have had two excellent experiences. Maybe time has healed old wounds, or maybe just a change in management! Upon arrival in the drive through my order was immediately taken and I was moved swiftly through the line despite there being other cars in front of me. The barista/cashier was super nice and reloaded my card for me. Most importantly, my drink is perfect! Triple grande two splenda latte - perfection. This location is very close to my satellite office here in Monroe and I will be returning on every trip up here. In an unrelated note, I love these new fall cups!! read more

I would give zero stars if possible. They forget items and blame it on the Uber Eats delivery driver. The driver is handed sealed bags, there is no way they can check it, it's not their fault. It's Starbuck's fault. They owe me at least $75 in missed items. An employee said I couldn't talk to a manager, she handed the phone to another employee saying I was cursing her out. That upset me the most. I do NOT do that. That employee straight up LIED. Before the other employee hung up on me, he said I was just a crazy lady. This isn't acceptable! I'm more upset about that than I am the missed items. I spoke with a manager today after they messed up my order again. I told her about the incident, and I asked her what she planned to do. She said she can't tell me because she doesn't intend to do anything because she didn't know which employee it was. I gave her the date and time of that incident. A manager can absolutely look up which employees were working on that day at that time. I am not a rude person, I did not, and would never use swear words to an employee like that. I'm not crazy either, that legitimately hurt my feelings. I just wanted my order fixed and told them I was frustrated with it because this was not the first time. I spoke in a very calm tone. I am absolutely not a "crazy lady". The Uber Eats drivers often complain how rude they are, and I've heard various people complaining about this location. Same complaints, that they mess up orders, they are SLOW, and they are rude. The manager does nothing about it. The ridiculous wait times are true, if I go there in person I wait at least 20 minutes while the employees chat and laugh amongst each other, taking their time, I've seen them with their phones out too. We are not in a big city, the wait time is absolutely ridiculous. The location in Chicago on Michigan Ave. had my order ready in less than 10 minutes and they are always packed! The manager straight up told me that she wasn't going to speak to the employees. I only told her she needs to have a talk with them. I wasn't asking much. I didn't even ask for my money back. I've contacted the higher ups, and am expecting a call from the district manager. I hope they do something about it. They need to fire the problematic, lying employees, and they need to send that manager to management training. Lazy, rude, liars, theifs, unprofessional. You're better off driving further to another location, because the one on Forsythe Ave is a mess. read more

When I read the reviews with the low ratings I figured everyone was just exaggerating and likely grouchy when writing them. I thought for sure (before visiting) that I'd be writing a much nicer review contradicting them because certainly it couldn't be THAT bad. It was worse. The woman working the register was slower than I've ever seen in a Starbucks. She seemed like she was 1/2 asleep, which I can relate to, but you work at the caffeine hub of the world! Drink some coffee! Mind you, it was 9:15 am, not 5:05am. The woman working the pastry case and warming oven literally walked around quietly mumbling "blueberry muffin for Lauren" like she thought Lauren must have supersonic hearing. It was so ridiculous I couldn't help but laugh out loud. She walked back and forth behind the counter at least 9 times before someone else back there finally yelled out the order. The woman working the bar didn't even call my drink when it was ready, or even motion to it for me. I was standing right there and she just set it down over on the side and walked away. When I saw it sitting there I asked if it was the iced coffee with sugar free hazelnut she just nodded without speaking. Umm ok. The half & half was empty, so I had to go back to ask Super Friendly Barista behind the bar to fill it for me. You would have thought I'd asked her to go out back and milk me a cow. Always rude and changed their hours. When inquiring why they did they were extremely rude about it. Also "short staffed" isn't a reason to change your hours for more than two months(unlike when Yelp says the hours were updated. Many places operate short staffed at normal hours. Their mobile app is always turned off and they always tell me "it's a outage in the app" when I travel for a living and know darn well that I used it at another location in another state earlier that morning. read more

I just left starbucks this morning (4-11-21 @10:30am) and the young woman at the drive thru (black girl with braids in a black glitter mask) was very rude. When I placing my order she seemed annoyed by me through the intercom. When I got my stuff and had a question about my order she just closed the window on me and rolled her eyes at me. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what but she didn't have to take it out on me. I was actually really nice to her from the beginning like I'm always am to anyone any customer service. Constantly out of things they refuse to put on the app that they're out of (there will be other items that they say are sold out at this store). i order a SOY white chocolate mocha every time, because i am EXTREMELY lactose intolerant. when i have dairy, my stomach bloats up, im in pain, and it completely halts my day. you can liken it to severe menstrual symptoms. every. single. time. they put regular milk in my drink when i have specified soy. it doesnt matter if you order it in person or on the app. im usually good about catching it and avoiding any discomfort but today i was unlucky enough to drink an entire venti cup of this devil's concoction. i drank it around 11-11:30am today and it is 2pm and not only have i thrown up, but i (who is usually a size 4) look like i am about 5 months pregnant. im miserable. im glad, this is the push that i need to start supporting local businesses in the area. done with it. read more

I don't know what they use as chai but my iced latte was gross. I got a tart taste rather than a spice taste once i left the parking lot i threw it away (what a waste right!) When the barista gave it to me i had to remove the lid and stir the drink myself. I just don't like this Starbucks at all. Compared to other Starbucks, which I love, this location is painfully slow and often lacking in customer service. You can basically guarantee that you will either experience a bad attitude, incompetency, an incorrect order, or all of the above, especially if you go through the drive thru. I don't know how this location has been so bad for so long, but consistency in their incompetence is basically the best compliment I can give this location. The employees are usually baffled by my order of "Iced Vanilla Latte, Skim Milk" and often don't know how to enter it into the cash register. However, this is the only Starbucks (besides ULM campus) for MILES, so I will continue to fume as I drink my incorrect orders. Good luck. read more

The service in this place is terrible. Maybe those who've never been to another functioning Starbucks before wouldn't notice... but this place blows. My family lives in WM and I live out of town and I stop here on the way back home after a visit. Each time, it's been consistently terrible. It's so incredibly slow and the staff is less than friendly. I've never received my coffee in less than 12 minutes, which is unacceptable. The only redeeming quality is that the coffee is actually good, which counts for something. It's also very tiny on the inside and (because coffee shops are mistakenly thought to be good study spots for some idiotic reason) it's always packed with local undergrads studying. I hate this place but like most, have no other choice in the area and will probably be back when forced to be in the area. read more

OMG, this is the slowest Starbucks ever. It's as though it's staff by snails. The drive thru backs up to the street because the service is extremely s-l-o-w. The inside is no better. It's the only Starbucks in the area and probably the only drive thru coffee shop around. Build at least twenty minutes into your quest for the perfect cup of java, because you're not getting out there any sooner. I will say that the attitude of the attendant working (I think her name is Marie or Maria), makes the entire ordeal better. She is pleasant and polite. Ok, I've been working on a project for school since 9am and apparently Old McDonald won the championship because out of the blue it starts raining milk. (WTH) It lands on my macbook, the project Im working on and me. Im sitting here trying not to flash but 15 min have passed and no one from management came to check so see if I was ok. WTF! They are trying patients! I have to commend the morning staff for the great customer service but this has been a black cloud on the whole experience. I'm understanding to then fact that this is a fast pace environment and that accidents can accrue but at least check on your customers. Finally after 25 min. and the milk dries I summoned a manager and told him what transpired. He apologies and said that no one notified him and then asked "Sir, what do you want me to do about it?" At this point I have a free shot at this guy and I have a million and one smart @$$ come backs are going through my head. But I'm going to let him slide... It's milk on a MacBook! They don't mix! Let me stand on your counter and R.Kelly your POS system since you don't know what liquids does to electronics. Ok, if you have a potential situation that can turn volatile with a customer Im sure that you never ever ever never ask them "What do you want me to do about it?" You carefully pick your words and try to ease the situation. For some reason the workers here cannot ever get my drink order right. And it's not even that I order complicated drinks. I asked for a soy latte and got a coffee, I ordered a matcha green latte and got coffee. These types of mishaps have happened a few times through the drive through. Walked in and never greeted. Waited at counter for unpleasant/sour-faced barista to take order. Seemed inconvenient for her...Person making drinks mistakenly made my drink incorrectly and questioned me- the customer like I was wrong when I told her that this was not the drink that I ordered. She unhappily and with attitude remade my drink while muttering under her breath (Tea) and sloshed milk everywhere remaking it (twice since she didn't read the "tape" with my order). Kept talking instead of being pleasant and called out the original order taker...The whole scenario was VERY uncomfortable...Clearly in need of training in dealing with the public and handling mistakes. In the last 5 years that I've lived here, I've never had a problem at this location. My wife got me a mocha frappe for Father's day and it was awesome. They've always been friendly to me, courteous to a fault. I've even gone in and played a board game with a friend over coffees and had no issues. Yes, they get busy.
