When I pulled up to the window, my food was handed to me, and I asked for a side of their sauce. That's when I was told they were out. I opened my burger and found that it only had the meat, one pickle, and the bun--no condiments at all. Thinking it was just an oversight, I asked for ketchup and mayonnaise. I was then told they were completely out of all sauces and condiments because they were waiting on their delivery truck the next morning. The only response I received was, "Sorry," followed by a shrug. I was even offered queso as a substitute, which wasn't a reasonable replacement for burger condiments. What was most frustrating is that no one mentioned they were out of everything when I placed my order. Had I known, I would have ordered something else or gone somewhere different. Instead, I paid full price for food that wasn't what I expected. I sat there honestly in disbelief, waiting for someone to offer a solution--a refund, a remake, or even an acknowledgment that this wasn't acceptable. Instead, everyone simply went back to work as if it wasn't a big deal. I was left feeling like the expectation was that I should just eat it. In the end, I left, went somewhere else to eat, and threw away the food I had just paid for. This was my second time stopping here while passing through West Monroe because I remembered wanting to eat here again. Unfortunately, after this experience, I don't see myself coming back. I truly hope this review is taken as constructive feedback. This restaurant has so much potential to be successful, but communication and customer service matter just as much as the food. Simply letting customers know about major menu limitations before they order--and making an effort to make things right when problems arise--would have made all the difference.

Frankly, the Waffle House steak would've been better and A LOT cheaper! We requested another steak, AGAIN asking that it be cooked rare. The owner personally brought it to the table, but unfortunately, it was just as disappointing. It didn't even look like a ribeye, was still maybe 1/4 inch thick, was even smaller than the first one & certainly didn't appear to be 16 ounces (MAYBE 10oz), was even more fatty/gristly, had no deep grill/char marks, and was gray in color--like it was boiled. Once again, it was cooked medium instead of rare. The guest took one bite of the remade steak after cutting away all the fat/gristle and literally packed the steak up to take home for the dog. We asked to have the $30 steak removed from the bill, but the owner refused, claiming it had been eaten. The guest then unpacked the steak and showed the waitress that only one bite had been taken. Even after the owner seeing this, the owner STILL refused to remove the charge. Absolutely poor customer service! I have never been to a restaurant where, when something was prepared incorrectly or a customer was clearly dissatisfied, the staff--let alone the owner--wouldn't at least attempt to make things right. This was especially frustrating after two disappointing steaks were prepared incorrectly and left virtually uneaten. Mistakes happen, and not every meal will be perfect. However, how a restaurant handles a problem says a lot about its customer service. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing, and the owner's refusal to address the situation made it even worse. Word of mouth goes a LONG way, and our group has already shared this experience with others and advised them against visiting or recommending this establishment. Based on our experience, we certainly won't be returning. BTW, look on their website reviews, you'll see complaints of the poorly made 16oz ribeye, roaches in food & in restaurant & rude owner--I didn't see these reviews until after our awful experience here.
