Also, I've yet to see another restaurant as consistently clean as Slim Chickens is. I only have one complaint. When you go there while the sun is going down, there is a two to three hour period where it's impossible to sit on the entrance side, without being blinded by the sunlight. Their walls are giant windows and there's absolutely nothing blocking the sun on that side of the building and no blinds or tinted windows. I wrote the company yesterday and addressed this situation. Less than 24 hours later, I received a reply from the Vice-President of Operations, stating: "I appreciate you being a loyal guest of Slim Chickens! I wanted to drop you a note and tell you I appreciate the feedback and I am currently working on a solution for the windows. Thank you for your feedback and again, for being loyal guest!" I sat there honestly in disbelief, waiting for someone to offer a solution--a refund, a remake, or even an acknowledgment that this wasn't acceptable. Instead, everyone simply went back to work as if it wasn't a big deal. I was left feeling like the expectation was that I should just eat it. In the end, I left, went somewhere else to eat, and threw away the food I had just paid for.
