We recently tried The Burger Grind and came away pretty impressed. I had the Texan 1-lb burger, and this thing was huge! It was tasty and definitely a filling burger, although it was a little on the salty side. We also tried the fries and onion rings, which were both good, but the real highlight for me was the mushrooms. They were excellent and easily one of my favorite parts of the meal. They also have boudin egg rolls, which were surprisingly very good. My only complaint is that they could have been a little bigger, especially for the price. Overall, there was a lot to like here. The portions are generous, the food is flavorful, and the boudin egg rolls are definitely worth trying. I'd go back to The Burger Grind and try some of their other burgers. read more

I called in my order to be picked up and they have a drive-thru window, which is very convenient. My burger was cooked to perfection and very juicy. The house fries were amazing as well. The pricing is reasonable, especially for what you get. Also the owners and staff are very polite and are customer satisfaction focused. I would leave 10 stars if possible. read more

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I wasn't thrilled with the burger, onion rings, or mozzarella sticks. I ordered a 1/2 pound burger with grilled mushrooms and onions, a side of onion rings, and a 3 piece mozzarella sticks. Maybe I wasn't really hungry or maybe I picked a bad time. Either way it wasn't very good. It was edible but not what you would expect from a "Burger Joint". The service was good and the young lady that took my order at the counter and then served my food at the table was very pleasant and patient. The dining room is great with classic rock music at an acceptable level. The tables are booth or table and chairs. There's ample room, and self serve fountain drinks and tea. Overall I'm giving it a 3 star because they get part of it right and I'll be willing to give them another chance. read more

I'm visiting from out of town, this place is disgusting, the Avacado is brown guacamole and the fries are soggy and gross the burger tastes spoiled. the salad is brown iceberg lettuce with soggy tomatoes read more

Burger Grind is always a good option when you are in the mood for a "specialty" burger. I get the black and bleu and it is delicious. I've also tried the hangover burger and we enjoyed it too. A little pricey, but you get what you're paying for! read more

Burger was pretty mid. The patty was under seasoned but all the toppings made up for it. There was no one there when I placed my order so they weren't busy but I still got cold food. The curly fries were cold and stale and so were the onion rings. The boudin egg rolls were hot but weren't worth the price. Overall it seems like bar food just without the bar atmosphere. read more

4 stars shouldn't mean amazing. It was all pretty good, and I have no complaints. The atmosphere was basic and not exceptional, but there was nothing wrong with it. The service was fairly fast and friendly. The food was enjoyable with the onion rings being very good. All in all it was nice but that's it. read more

This is a very interesting place, 1st I was reprimanded for entering their parking lot through the exit lane but the sign for the business is near the exit lane after you pass the entrance I wanted to try their brown gravy on the side incase i didn't like it. I was charged only .50 for the side of gravy but the kitchen staff (2 of them ) came out to complain to the cashier lady about my request. The cashier was seated behind her counter and it took her a long time to get my order over 5 minutes. I had a burger on a reg bun(9.99) with a side of onion rings(5.99) and a large coke.(?) $22.00 oh yeah the brown gravy(.50) also. The onion rings were 5.99 and I got 6 onion rings.(basically $1.00 per ring)The menu is very confusing and the costs are not clear and you will be up charged for everything including the buns and there are are many buns to choose from. The food was all good but these folks do not understand customer service or even basic politeness. I had 6 people with me and we all found the people here a little odd. The place is decent on the inside and it seemed fairly clean. read more

Ordered through Door Dash (4/15) for pick up. They wouldn't allow me to pick up through the drive-thru so I had to get out. I arrived "on time" only to be told I would have to wait another 10mins or so. Once handed my order I could visually see it was wrong. Sent it back and they acted as if I was inconveniencing them. I ordered an American Burger with fries and an A1 Burger with onion rings. Both burgers were dry and the A1 burger looked like it had been manhandled. The A1 was overkill. The onion rings however, were absolutely delicious! I don't foresee myself returning. read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service!! We were THE ONLY customers in the restaurant...patiently waited after placing our order for 45 minutes before walking to ask if our food was almost ready, only to be told it had been sitting by the drive thru window! Asked if they could quickly remake & refund! Told no! Finally got a refund & left with no food!! WORST SERVICE EVER!! read more

Came here for lunch, had never been to Monroe before, wanted somewhere local. Place looked alright from the outside, inside is your generic boomer/Millennial industrial eclectic style. Maybe 2 other groups of customers, everything is a la carte so the cost added up quick, a long wait for food. It's a big greasy burger but nothing special. We had gotten 2 different "specialty" burgers that tasted the same. Sides were eh, fries were not crisp, dense, and room temp. The onion rings were good, lots of batter crust. The cherry on top is the internal politics overflowing out the kitchen. Workers and people that aren't dressed in any uniform or branded shirt in relation to the restaurant running in and out of the kitchen then into the parking lot from the front door, complaining about schedules. Doors propped open for clear view of the kitchen and all internal conversations and conflict. For the same price, I would have gone to any fast casual chain restaurant. Leaving Monroe now, unimpressed and slightly nauseated. read more

Food is great! Service is great! Dining space good for groups. I was particularly impressed by the kids chicken tenders and onion rings. I was surprised that I like it enough to eat my kid's leftover and came back to order more of the same thing. Not great for my cholesterol but my taste buds are well satisfied. read more

If you are looking for that extra in your burger, this is the place to go. With a variety of choices, you had better come hungry. The portions are more than enough for two people just from one burger. The service is always great but be prepared to wait just a little longer than your average fast-food location. This is not a bad thing, because your burger is cooked fresh and any sides as well. The ambiance of the location is laid back and easygoing. Great for relaxing date nights or just to hang with friends. read more

We were passing through Monroe and found this jewel via Yelp. Score! . Great find just off I20. Burgers were awesome made fresh and to your order. The staff was above and beyond friendly and even fried up a piece of bacon for our fur-baby. We are on their little patio deck area due to the pup and I was afraid it was going to be miserably hot since it is July but is was actually nice. The patio area is shaded and had fans to help with the LA heat. Definitely will be returning next time we are headed to FL and recommended you to do also! read more

This was a nice surprise driving through Monroe. My husband ordered the Texan burger on a gluten free bun with curly fries. I order a plain burger on lettuce and added grilled onions, jalapeños, and avocado. Their online ordering system is awesome and detailed. You can dress it your way. The meat was so flavorful! I also appreciated that they cut up my patty to make eating easier. You can choose your party size 1/4lb, 1/2lb or 1 pound with multiple bun options. Also very fairly priced. read more

I ordered 3 burgers, 1 fry, and 1 order of fried pickles. When the food came out not a single burger was correct and the fries were missing.I brought the burgers back to the kitchen and explained the issue, the staff was rude. The begrudgingly threw some extra condiments on my plate and remade the other burger, but it still came out wrong. They would serve us the fries without an additional charge because they failed to ring us up for them. The staff was rude, incompetent, and lazy. Additionally, water cups were an extra charge and the water tasted dirty. Had the manager been apologetic and served us the fries without an additional charge because the order was so wrong, I would be less frustrated, but the manager of the restaurant was barking orders at her staff and not taking care of her customers. Nothing about this dining experience was pleasant and I will not recommend this restaurant to anybody. read more

We walked in on Saturday morning, and then back out to take our business elsewhere. The woman taking our order was unfriendly, didn't greet us, didn't actually even say anything and just stood there and looked down. I asked her a question about an item on the menu, and she looked annoyed as she looked up the item. It's a shame because we're from out of town and were excited to try some local businesses... and this is our first experience?! We weren't expecting a bubbly person, and she might be having a bad morning... but at least show some common decency and manners. I hope the owner sees this, because your employees represent your establishment.. and I would hate for you to lose more business. ‍ read more

Very good. Love it so much. Great service and really good food. Best in the business. This place is awesome

Did an online order tonight. Paid online and when husband picked it up my side salad was missing. I immediately called back and was told to hold on a second she was gonna check on it. After she didn't return for at least 10 mins I thought we had been disconnected and hung up and called back. Someone different answered and I explained I was on hold and part of my order was missing, she told me the one I was talking to was busy helping other customers and she is the cook and I would have to wait. Needless to say I hung up and let them keep that salad and just won't be back. read more

This is not even a good burger. With a lukewarm warm old patty and not so good sides. I was not impressed. The fried pickles didn't even taste like pickles. The cashier was nice but the food is not good. $72 for a family of 4 to eat subpar burgers. read more

My husband and I went here for the first time a month or so ago and we were really craving a good burger. If you are looking for an upscale level burger in North Louisiana, Burger Grind is a candidate. Located in West Monroe this place offers a variety of top shelf burger creations, mostly familiar, but done well. I had the Texan, a spicy burger with grillled jalapeños and pepper jack cheese plus crispy bacon on a toasted onion bun. I got the half pound and ate the whole thing. I can recommend the onion rings which can be a roll of the dice at some places but done well here. Theirs are huge, crispy and delicious. I got a side of fried mushrooms as a starter which were very good but came out after the burger and rings. The downside is this is not a budget restaurant. The above (which was a lot of food) for one person was $24 after tax/before tip. The staff is pleasant, and it's across the street from a HUGE high school football stadium which was pretty cool. read more

Service (DaDa Wilson) was awesome. She greeted us warmly, explained the menu, and made ordering easy. We checked in, but manager said that we were not in the system so we didn't get the free onion rings. Oh well! Food cost is about average ($30.00) for two people. Our hamburgers were great and the sweet potato fries were very good. I like them thin and crunchy. The boneless Buffalo chicken wings were tender and hot. Very casual with concrete floors and rustic wooden tables and chairs. Very clean. Will eat there again. read more

I have had issues every time I have ordered over the last 18 months. I tried to speak with a manager but was told it was not their fault. I wouldn't recommend ordering delivery from them ever. At least 3 other times my food has been burned to the point we couldn't eat it. Again, no one helped those times either. I've tried to support small business & given several additional chances but this was the last one. read more

Been waiting for takeout for a solid hour in this boiling hot room. Two employees in back, nonstop talking to each other. This is the only location for a veggie burger or I'd go elsewhere (son can't eat meat). Only two combo orders and still waiting an hour later. If a business can't give decent service, then don't open. read more

Not a good service at all. You get charged for water. They up charge everything. Kids meal says entree plus a side but you only get a few sides while the others are an up charge and they don't tell you. Their customer service was as bad as the whole place looked. Just gross and very dim lighting. I hope this find the owner and he/she will take care of their crappy employees. I can keep going about the orders but I'm just going to stop. Would not recommend coming here or will I ever come back. Well I'm going to talk about the order now after the manger decided to blame a messed up order on "trainees". I told her she needs to do a better job at training then she proceeds to say it's only been 3 f*ing days of training. After getting a refund for my part I really hope the owner will call me like she said she will do. read more

My dad and I wanted to go somewhere that would be quick without a wait so we decided to go to burger grind. Not only did our food take over 30 mins then when we got it they forgot to bring two things that we ordered. I said this is ridiculous we have waited so long! The guy just shrugged his shoulders and said "I just work here." Never apologized for forgetting half our order or the wait. The lady was also so ready to close that she was trying to close half the restaurant while we were waiting for food. The mop was out and ready and half chairs were put up also. In a rush to close but definitely not in a rush to serve their customers!! They could careless. read more
