Burger was pretty mid. The patty was under seasoned but all the toppings made up for it. There was no one there when I placed my order so they weren't busy but I still got cold food. This is a very interesting place, 1st I was reprimanded for entering their parking lot through the exit lane but the sign for the business is near the exit lane after you pass the entrance I wanted to try their brown gravy on the side incase i didn't like it. I was charged only .50 for the side of gravy but the kitchen staff (2 of them ) came out to complain to the cashier lady about my request. The cashier was seated behind her counter and it took her a long time to get my order over 5 minutes. I had a burger on a reg bun(9.99) with a side of onion rings(5.99) and a large coke.(?) $22.00 oh yeah the brown gravy(.50) also. The onion rings were 5.99 and I got 6 onion rings.(basically $1.00 per ring)The menu is very confusing and the costs are not clear and you will be up charged for everything including the buns and there are are many buns to choose from. The food was all good but these folks do not understand customer service or even basic politeness. I had 6 people with me and we all found the people here a little odd. Ordered through Door Dash (4/15) for pick up. They wouldn't allow me to pick up through the drive-thru so I had to get out. I arrived "on time" only to be told I would have to wait another 10mins or so. Once handed my order I could visually see it was wrong. Sent it back and they acted as if I was inconveniencing them. I ordered an American Burger with fries and an A1 Burger with onion rings. Both burgers were dry and the A1 burger looked like it had been manhandled. The A1 was overkill. Came here for lunch, had never been to Monroe before, wanted somewhere local. Place looked alright from the outside, inside is your generic boomer/Millennial industrial eclectic style. Maybe 2 other groups of customers, everything is a la carte so the cost added up quick, a long wait for food. It's a big greasy burger but nothing special. We had gotten 2 different "specialty" burgers that tasted the same. Sides were eh, fries were not crisp, dense, and room temp. The onion rings were good, lots of batter crust. The cherry on top is the internal politics overflowing out the kitchen. Workers and people that aren't dressed in any uniform or branded shirt in relation to the restaurant running in and out of the kitchen then into the parking lot from the front door, complaining about schedules. Doors propped open for clear view of the kitchen and all internal conversations and conflict. For the same price, I would have gone to any fast casual chain restaurant. We were passing through Monroe and found this jewel via Yelp. Score! . Great find just off I20. Burgers were awesome made fresh and to your order. The staff was above and beyond friendly and even fried up a piece of bacon for our fur-baby. We are on their little patio deck area due to the pup and I was afraid it was going to be miserably hot since it is July but is was actually nice. The patio area is shaded and had fans to help with the LA heat. Definitely will be returning next time we are headed to FL and recommended you to do also! read more

Did an online order tonight. Paid online and when husband picked it up my side salad was missing. I immediately called back and was told to hold on a second she was gonna check on it. After she didn't return for at least 10 mins I thought we had been disconnected and hung up and called back. Someone different answered and I explained I was on hold and part of my order was missing, she told me the one I was talking to was busy helping other customers and she is the cook and I would have to wait. When the food came out not a single burger was correct and the fries were missing.I brought the burgers back to the kitchen and explained the issue, the staff was rude. The begrudgingly threw some extra condiments on my plate and remade the other burger, but it still came out wrong. They would serve us the fries without an additional charge because they failed to ring us up for them. The staff was rude, incompetent, and lazy. Additionally, water cups were an extra charge and the water tasted dirty. Had the manager been apologetic and served us the fries without an additional charge because the order was so wrong, I would be less frustrated, but the manager of the restaurant was barking orders at her staff and not taking care of her customers. We walked in on Saturday morning, and then back out to take our business elsewhere. The woman taking our order was unfriendly, didn't greet us, didn't actually even say anything and just stood there and looked down. I asked her a question about an item on the menu, and she looked annoyed as she looked up the item. It's a shame because we're from out of town and were excited to try some local businesses... and this is our first experience?! We weren't expecting a bubbly person, and she might be having a bad morning... but at least show some common decency and manners. Service (DaDa Wilson) was awesome. She greeted us warmly, explained the menu, and made ordering easy. We checked in, but manager said that we were not in the system so we didn't get the free onion rings. Oh well! Food cost is about average ($30.00) for two people. Our hamburgers were great and the sweet potato fries were very good. I like them thin and crunchy. The boneless Buffalo chicken wings were tender and hot. If you are looking for an upscale level burger in North Louisiana, Burger Grind is a candidate. Located in West Monroe this place offers a variety of top shelf burger creations, mostly familiar, but done well. I had the Texan, a spicy burger with grillled jalapeños and pepper jack cheese plus crispy bacon on a toasted onion bun. I got the half pound and ate the whole thing. I can recommend the onion rings which can be a roll of the dice at some places but done well here. Theirs are huge, crispy and delicious. I got a side of fried mushrooms as a starter which were very good but came out after the burger and rings. The downside is this is not a budget restaurant. The above (which was a lot of food) for one person was $24 after tax/before tip. The staff is pleasant, and it's across the street from a HUGE high school football stadium which was pretty cool. read more

Kids meal says entree plus a side but you only get a few sides while the others are an up charge and they don't tell you. Their customer service was as bad as the whole place looked. Just gross and very dim lighting. I hope this find the owner and he/she will take care of their crappy employees. I can keep going about the orders but I'm just going to stop. Would not recommend coming here or will I ever come back. Well I'm going to talk about the order now after the manger decided to blame a messed up order on "trainees". Not only did our food take over 30 mins then when we got it they forgot to bring two things that we ordered. I said this is ridiculous we have waited so long! The food was brought to our table and my daughters fries and side of ranch wasn't with the order .The waitress said that her fries were just dropped in and she would bring them when they are ready. We bought sat there and finished the burgers and my fries within a normal time while having a conversation and still no fries were brought to her so I went to the cash registered and complained saying she never got her fries they called a lady which I am assuming was in charge and immediately she got bad tone in her voice with me telling me that it takes 5 to 6 (bad word) minutes to fry them . The whole order should have been brought out at the same time and this could have been avoided .
