Lunch Pupusas Steak, 1 egg, plus 2 pupusas of choice
    Jessica M.

So good!! The steak was prepared perfectly. I had 2 pork and cheese pupusas that were delicious! There was plenty of food, it was 2 meals for me. I can't wait to return and try the other entrees and different pupusas.

My favorite pupusas! They're so flavorful & I love how thick and hot they always are. I wish their salsa roja had more flavor though.

New fan, who dis? I ordered a bunch of vegetarian pupusas and they all were killer. I did the wrong thing of ordering ahead and showing up late, so my bad. I put them in the air fryer and it was a lil greasy but delicious! Check them out! Cute lil spot with ample outdoor seating.

Great pupusa spot in East austin. The pickled cabbage and red sauce were great. The pupusas were delicious. Service was super friendly.

Absolutely delicious food. Staff is amazing. Carne Asada - 5/5 Chicharron y Queso Pupusa - 5/5 The Carne asada plate is phenomenal. Super juicy, perfectly cooked steak. Fresh ingredients, and the rice is equally amazing. The pupusas are incredible. Fresh, warm, gooey, cheesy perfection. This place is a hidden gem.

I keep coming back for the juicy fried chicken! It's one of the few dishes in Austin I crave. Looks like their business is growing. Large patio area. Check hours to make sure they're open :)

Incredible place because it's local and the quality is superb the masa is incredibly fluffy and the cheese they use is more reminiscent of Oaxacan cheese. I love this place because it's lowkey and has great prices and food 7 bucks takes you far

Absolutely great! Super cute food truck with lots of outdoor seating and good vibes. I had the spinach, jalapeño and pork pupusas and they were probably some of the best pupusas I've ever had! I also had their pina aguas frescas and it is super yummy fresh squeezed pineapple juice, super delicious! They were extremely friendly and when I was only to eat 1 1/2 of them they boxed/bagged the rest up for me to go, highly recommend!

    Pupusa, plátano frito

Best pupusa I ever had*. Great fried plantains too. And good value. * I'm not a pupusa expert and haven't been to El Salvador. But it was delicious and rica for sure.

I've been wanting to try Delmy's for a few years now and I'm glad I finally did! I ordered a chicharron pupusa, a jalapeño pupusa, and shared some platano fritos. It was delicious; I especially loved the platanos and crema. The patio area is nice and covers the sun nicely. I definitely recommend supporting Delmy's!

First time trying popusas and I loved them! The pork and cheese was my favorite and bean and cheese ranking at #2. These had about 5 other options so I'll have to come back and try them all :) They have a cute/clean set up and plenty of seating with shade.

Bean and cheese on top and Loroco on the bottom.

Went to get a Pupusa and was sooo good!…read more Our pupusa was bean and cheese off the owners recommendation. It was cheap ($3) and soft like a pancake. When paired with the pickled cabbage, this was fire! We also got a pastor taco which was just alright , the salsa was very good tho - perfect spice. Def will come back to get some more Pupusas!

Lets taco 'bout it:…read more On this occasion my friend Jimmy and I happened to visit this taco and pupusa stand that is located next to a Shop'n and Save store, this is convenient for two reasons: although the food stand sells canned soft drinks , the variety of drinks that there is in the convenience store is much greater, and secondly because of the option to withdraw money in cash since Tacos y Pupusas Los Ramos only accepts cash, unfortunately this is the only reason why we could not give it the highest rating. Our order consisted of chicken fajita tacos and a Loroco Pupusa with cheese, this accompanied with green and red sauce that were not so spicy but had a very good flavor and could not miss the curtido for the pupusas, honestly the food options It was within what we expected with this type of establishment where Salvadoran food is mostly offered with options of snacks from other places, very good and everything fresh since it is prepared at the moment, the prices of this type of establishment are still very affordable and I really recommend it, since we noticed during our experience that most of the people who came to buy at this establishment were regular customers, so this was a very good sign.

There's too few pupuserias in Austin! Overall a mediocre food experience, but if you're in the mood…read morefor papusas, not much choice for us here. Met up with friends and one of them loved the authentic vibes. When we're the only non-Hispanic people in a relatively full restaurant it's a good sign! Usually "authentic" when on the cheaper side means that it's cheaper quality but full of flavor, as people with lower incomes know how to make great tasting food that's filling for a lower cost - hence how ox tail and po'boys got created and has becomes staples. I can definitely attest it's authentic, however the taste and food quality is a tad lacking. Carne Asada - my friend said... I'm still chewing it when I asked how it was. Definitely low quality piece of beef, however not made any better by the flavor or the way it was cooked. Fried Fish - definitely the star! Slightly overcooked, but still juicy and tender, the fish had an excellent flavor. Warning it can be a lot of work to avoid the bones! (one friend had a tough time, while the other had it eaten in just a few minutes) Papusas - Mediocre. Good enough to fill the craving, however not the best showcase for the famous El Salvadoran dish. Good amount of filling and with ok taste. It could use more salt and be cooked a little crisper on the outside. Make sure to ask for the cabbage topping in case they don't bring it out - it was nice to see that the container for the cabbage had a prep date. Chicharron - Overall a little overcooked, but I feel like this is typically the case every time I've ever had it at any restauraunt. Chewy and overall good flavor. Tortillas - Thick!! And homemade! Yucca - I wish now I had known they had fried yucca, as it's harder to find than one would think in Austin. Make sure to ask for this fried treat, as it's 10x better than French fries!

Two are our friends order the fried fish. One dish had a lot of fish bones while the other did not. Overall it had good flavor but slightly overcooked. My husband ordered the papusas which he was craving for. It was prepared well however slighly bland. As a signature El Salvadoran dish, it was ok. The cabbage topping was a helpful flavor enhancer for this particular dish. The chicharron was slighly overcooked, dry, but had a good flavor to it.

Trust the amazing reviews!…read more We stopped here after reading the great reviews and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Parking: is limited in the restaurant but they have a lot across the street where there are plenty of spaces. Service: fantastic! From the moment we met the hostess the two ladies who greeted us were so nice and welcoming. Aesthetic: super cute! Perfect for a girls happy hour or a date. So colorful and vibrant such a vibe. Food: Delicious! I ordered the green chicken enchiladas and they were full of flavor and perfectly portioned, satisfying without feeling like you can't walk afterwards. We also ordered tacos and they were great. I did not love their grapefruit margarita but their frozen margaritas looked bomb! Strongly recommend de nada!

The only option was to sit outside and it was pretty uncomfortable. There was a bunch of cars driving really close to us and the fans did not reach our table. Mango marg: This marg was very strong but very refreshing because it was hot outside. I got the frozen one but all I could taste was alcohol. There was like zero hint of mango flavor at all except the color. It honestly tasted like a frozen regular marg. Queso: The queso is great it isn't spicy and it has a very classic flavor. The portion is decent and I like how it came with a small green salsa on the side. Birria tacos: These tacos were amazing!!! There was so much flavor and the meat was soooo good. The consume was really good as well and it was just the perfect blend. It comes with four tacos and I will say they are very small. Still kinda hungry after..

It was pretty packed inside so a server had us wait outside on the porch until a table opened up. Soon after, we were seated and looked through the menu. We decided on two pupusas with a tamale to share. We got one revuelta and one chicharron & queso pupusa. The revuelta was hands down our favorite - the meat was so tender and it was amazingly flavorful. The chicharron & queso was good too but we would probably just get 2 revuelta orders next time. I was not too impressed by the tamale and next time would probably just order a third revuelta instead! Our server was kind and attentive throughout the meal. We mostly spoke in Spanish so would just be aware of that if you visit - would help to be able to place your order in Spanish! The room was moderately sized and good for either bigger or smaller groups. They had some really cute Salvadoran decor. I would certainly come back here when I'm next in Austin!

I couldn't not try all three, and they were each delicious in their own way. The curtido and salsa were the perfect accompaniment to cut the cheesiness of each pupusa, and to top it all off, they had passion fruit agua! I can't forget the chips and salsa... normally, I don't have any reason to write about either, but the chips were fresh and the salsa was really unique, chunky, mildly spicy, and extremely flavorful. I had to add some on top of my pupusas as well! The service was fantastic - the food and drink came out in a very timely manner, and the server was super friendly, making sure that everything was delicious. The interior was very comfortable with booths, tables, and high tops. I really enjoyed Delmy's, and as it was my last stop before leaving Austin, I arrived home in Florida still full and with good memories of a final meal!
