A warm welcome as soon as you arrive is just the beginning. Delicious, fresh choices were plentiful, and they were able to handle a dairy allergy without blinking an eye. The real test - my finicky kid loved the club sandwich and soup combo, which was a refreshing change to the chicken nuggets she normally eats. My BLT in a bowl was great, and my husband devoured the roast beef dip. The service was very attentive, and it was the perfect stop before getting back on the road. We both had Roastini sammys with bbq chips and coffee/ peach tea. The drinks were better than average and the sandwiches were very tasty and artfully constructed. The kettle chips were exceptional. The staff was warm and inviting, friendly and helpful. Decor was beautiful and comfortable....music just right. I would bring my best clients here, or my friends and family. Delicious Cafe is a godsend. As someone with celiac, having a restaurant that can provide safe gluten free food makes life so much easier! But the food is not just gluten free - it lives up to the restaurant's name. Everything I've had there has been really tasty. This place is a total hidden gem! Amazing food but you gotta try the teas! They have loads of variety of high quality teas and a bunch of flavors you can add. Plus you can get any tea iced. Started not well from the moment my wife and I walked in. We walked in and waited to be seated and it took a couple minutes until someone said they would be with us. Then took another couple mins until someone came up to the stand. At that point they got a door dash order and worked on that before sitting us. So frustrating. We were seated and not asked what we wanted for drinks. It took about 5 mins to get a server to check on us from when we sat down. The food was decent but very small portion. Let me start by saying this review is solely based on Delicious Cafe's catering services and not their cafe. Although I hope to try the cafe next time I am in Payson. The owner and family truly came to our rescue with a last minute catering job for our Girl Scout Encampment when our original caterer canceled. The food was all amazing and everyone working was friendly and helpful. They interacted great with all the attendees over the entire weekend and they offered great alternatives for girls/adults with special dietary needs or allergies. I did not personally try any of the special food, but the food I did eat was all great. You could tell it was made fresh and with love. The meals provided were 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 1 dinner for well over 100 people. The breakfasts were 1) pancakes, bacon, home fries and fruit and 2) scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, potato wedges and fruit. The lunch was a bbq pulled chicken sandwich, baked beans, and potato wedges, and the dinner was chicken Alfredo, broccoli, salad, and garlic bread. If you are looking for a caterer who goes over and above then look no further. read more

This is not the only good restaurant in Payson, but it is one of only two interesting ones. They give some thought to their menu and in some cases try to innovate. My parents, youngest, and I went here today for lunch. I would have given it a 5 star rating but here is why we are only giving it a 3... I'll start with the negative and end on a very positive note..All us grownups ordered Iced teas we are tea fanatics and were super excited to see all the flavors they offered. I was a bit bummed when they didn't offer free refills on tea but figured where they are flavored it wouldn't matter. We had to wait quite a few minutes for our teas to arrive and when they did we were all very disappointed. We each ordered a berry tea. Mine was blueberry. I didn't even get a hint of blueberry and the "tea" itself was clear just tasted like barely iced water. My stepdad didn't even finish his strawberry tea because again same thing had no Tea flavor and just warm water tasting. I ended up ordering iced water with lemon which tasted way better then the tea. Speaking of ordering the water, once our food arrived we didn't hear from our waiter the entire time until I had to wave at them to bring me a fresh water and a side of sauce which they got me but again that was the last time we had an exchange with them. Onto the positive...I thought the prices were normal and average for any restaurant these days my sandwich was 8.49 and my parents were 10.49. They offered a side we all chose potato wedges. I liked that you can choose a free dipping sauce, I chose the jalapeño ranch which was thick and delicious and my mom and I both got the sun dried tomato pesto which was also very tasty. The potato wedges were well cooked and seasoned and you got plenty. The paninis we got were huge!!! Came on a delicious sourdough bread and had the perfect amount of filling. I got the applenini with turkey, cucumbers, and apples. My mom and stepdad got the chikinini which they both enjoyed! My daughter got the kids grilled cheese which was only 3.49 and she loved it!!! Overall the food was excellent and we would defiantly be back for that!!! As for a tip my mom did leave an average one but with lack of service provided I personally wouldn't have left one. Three. This is being very generous. Firstly, out waitress was very nice. But, we waited 25 minutes for our food. 2 Greek pita pizzas. Whit I ordered and what I received was not the same. I pointed this out. The waitress apologized and took both our plates back to the kitchen. We could hear the exchange between her and the cook. He said it was gone correctly. So the customer is not right is this restaurant. I ordered a Greek pizza, prosciutto, havarti, and all the veggies sans the jalapeño. What I got was a pita with very little prosciutto some havarti and onions, a few mushrooms and even less olives. When the waitress informed me he would make me another after 2 trips to the kitchen I declined the offer and just ate what I had in front of me. It was tasty but not what I ordered and not any attempt to fix it quickly. I was given a discount at the end. That was nice. Not sure I'll be returning. Too bad. read more

Service was a lil slow as they were super busy (it was a Saturday morning and they only had one server.). However, all the employees were very nice and the food was wonderful! Just had breakfast at Delicious Cafe. My veggie omelet was so fluffy and really yummy !!! I had the pesto aoli with my yummy potato wedges. The aoli was soooo delicious !!! I also had the Boylan Cola. Oh my gosh, that was so good and such a treat. I don't usually drink soda because of all the chemicals. Luckily, we live in Payson. We had stopped going out for breakfast because no one serves gluten-free (except buns and bread). We had yummy gluten-free muffins for an appetizer. Next, time I am going to have the pancakes.
