Lassi flight (rose, sweet, mango, sour from top to bottom)
Elizabeth S.

This place is a hidden gem! Spice Kraft is where people usually go for Indian happy hour, but THIS is where you should actually go. Happy hour every weekday from 4-6 PM. The lassis are all great - my favorite is the rose or mango. We also got the delicious samosa chaat, which my friend said may have been the best chaat she's had. The place is more authentic than Spice Kraft and the food is better. Get the garlic naan here. We also got the paneer makhani, which was sweeter and ok. I would try a different entree next time.

hands down my favorite bottomless brunch in Arlington!! and also best Bloody Mary in the DMV!! all the food was delicious, i really reccomend this spot if you enjoy flavorful food and want the best bang for your buck. top faves were: kofta, gol gappa, and shahi tukda! service was quick and attentive and the ambiance was cute too!

3.5 stars overall, service was good, value was good, but anything with saffron was meh - I felt like the French toast and the dessert with saffron both tasted very sickly sweet and artificial. The rest of bottomless brunch was solid, though. Chai comes unsweetened which is nice so you can control the amount of sugar. One of my friends asked for a mimosa with guava juice since they offer guava juice on its own and she loved it!

We tried the weekend bottomless brunch today. Service was great, good timing on courses and drinks. We appreciated the attention to detail and the decor in this cute location. The brunch is a flavorful, unique experience and the drink options were all tasty, from cocktails/mimosas and bellinis to non-alcoholic options. Thanks for quality vegetarian options as well.

Tiffin special with chicken vindaloo, butter chicken, paneer spinach, basmati rice and naan.

Had dinner here on a Tuesday. Only one other table was occupied but I was early at 5pm, I ordered the Tiffin special which was plenty for one person. 3 dishes plus rice and naan. All were very good. I don't know why it didn't have more customers. Maybe location, maybe Tuesday night is slow but I felt it was good food and a good deal. Tiffin special let's you try several dishes and even at reduced size of servings it was plenty, Service was good as expected for few customers.

It's a nice little cozy place with decent ambiance for food and drinks. The service was quick and without any fuss. The servers were friendly and helpful. We tried the pani puri, tandoori fish, chicken kadai, daal makhani and lamb biryani and overall the food was good. The lamb biryani was flavorful with tenderly cooked lamb. The prices are a bit on the steeper side and that might be due to the area in which this restaurant is located.

My recent visit to Delhi Dhaba was a treat! Right on a corner in court house, it was delicious with charming ambiance. The happy hour offer a selection of appetizers that comes with a beer of your choice. The samosas, served in a cute metal bike presentation, were a delightful start to our meal. I opted for the "Create Your Own Tiffin," which allowed me to sample two different chicken entrees and a vegetarian entree, stacked in cute metal stacking containers, all served with rice and naan. This option is perfect for solo diners like me who crave variety without having to order multiple entrees. The Chloe was simply delicious, although I did end up with leftovers to take home--it was worth every bite and I look forward to having it tomorrow for lunch. Delhi Dhaba has charming flower arch decor and colorful decorations scattered throughout the restaurant, making it engaging to look around. Service was quick and it was a nice quiet spot for a weeknight dinner. I can't wait to return and try more of their tempting menu offerings, like their pizza naan!

Ambiance: (5/5) Great decor. We sat outside and it was great weather. The table was set for 15 of us. Price: (2/5) I think the brunch price is ridiculously high. $40 without any soft drinks. I think a reasonable price would be $30 for the portion sizes. Food: (3.5/ 5) I enjoyed the food. The chicken tikka and butter chicken were a little too similar, but both tasted good. I think the aloo da paranthe was a bit stale on the edges. The French toast was really good. It had a honey saffron sauce on the side was amazing. The lamb vidaloo was also good, but I thought it could have been spicer. They didn't have gulab jaumun, so they only had one dessert option. Service: (4/5) Staff was nice. It did take a while to get the food out even though they weren't super busy.

We went for dinner and everything we had was delicious! The gol gappa cart was unique and was so flavorful, highly recommend it. The butter chicken and lamb biryani were also amazing and perfectly seasoned. We sat outside at the patio, and the service was great. The lamb biryani took the longest but it came out fresh with naan on top of the stone pot.

I walk by here pretty often and it always smells really good. My friends and I stopped by last week for dinner and we had a pretty good experience. The service was good and the interior was clean with nice decor. Between the three of us, we ordered a garlic naan and three entrees. FYI -- if you want the biryani, I'd try to order it ASAP because it takes them awhile to make it. GARLIC NAAN - 3.95 Each order comes with four quarter slices which were super fluffy and full of garlic and herb flavor. So good and the perfect base for the sauce/curries from our entrees. I'd recommend and would always pay extra for garlic naan over the regular one. PALAK PANEER - 17.95 One of the better palak paneers in the area. It was so vividly green, which meant they actually blanched their spinach correctly without letting it turn into a green-brown shade I sometimes see. The texture was so creamy and pureed perfectly. The chunks of paneer were delicious and had the perfect, soft texture. I also really liked that the palak paneer had a distinct spinach taste. Overall, definitely my favorite entree we got here. CHICKEN VINDALOO - 18.95 My friends wanted this to be extra spicy even though it is spicy to begin with. The chicken was super tender and the kashmiri chili and garlic sauce was super flavorful and packed with spices. I didn't eat too much of it because my spice tolerance isn't that good, but my friends enjoyed this a lot. DUM LAMB BIRYANI - 26.95 This biryani is different because the rice was slow-cooked and baked in a clay pot, covered with a piece of super fluffy garlic naan. To eat the rice, you have to break open the naan. The rice was very fragrant and there's actually saffron pieces in there. The lamb pieces were good and tender. Overall, there were spices in this biryani I've never had in other biryanis. I'd say it had a really nutty, almost cashew like flavor that was pretty strong. I thought it was unique and different. This was expensive, but worth trying once. The prices here are pretty steep, but that's Arlington for you. I definitely would recommend the palak paneer if you're a fan. The biryani was a unique experience, too, and worth a try.

BLUF: We came for the Instagram famous butter chicken wings and left disappointed. Nestled in an alleyway in Arlington, the ambience is warm and welcoming. Parking is a headache, though, so be prepared to circle the block. Service was polite, but could have been more attentive. The wait for our food was unacceptable at 45 minutes for an order of butter chicken wings and the tandoori platter. The wings were almost inedible. We were not expecting them to be breaded, but even so they were soft, mushy, lukewarm and tasted nothing of the butter chicken we were expecting. I don't know if they sat there in the sauce for awhile before being delivered to our table, but any crisp on them was long gone. Our tandoori platter consisted of three meats on a bed of peppers and onions. It was okay. The lamb kabob was overcooked and tough to chew. The chicken tikka and the tandoori chicken were the only redeeming things we ate -- good flavor, but dry. Essentially what we wanted to be moist was dry and what we wanted to be crispy was mush. It's always disappointing when a long wait is punctuated with an underwhelming meal. I cannot speak to the rest of their menu, but our experience today left me unimpressed.

I visited this establishment for the first time last week and it was my first time having Indian food. It was pretty quiet and they weren't too busy. The decor of the restaurant was nice and the music was good too. The food was spicy, had great flavors, and the service and suggestions I received from staff was phenomenal. I really enjoyed the Dum Lamb Biriyani and the garlic naan. I cannot wait to return to try something new.

I was craving Indian food on my trip to Washington DC. I decided to give Delhi Dhaba a try. I called to make a reservation. My call was answered very quickly and I was able to secure a reservation. Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted by a very friendly host and the amazing aroma of the food got me very excited for my meal. My wait was short and I was immediately escorted to seat. The food was awesome! I ordered the lamb chops and some kebab. The food was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. For the mains I had some chicken makhni, saag chicken. All were great. Lastly I had some gulab jamun for dessert. It was the perfect ending and not too sweet like other restaurants. During my meal the server was very attentive. Food was quick to come out and the whole experience was great. I would highly recommend Delhi Dhaba to anyone visiting Washington DC. Great job guys!

This place is perfect to meeting with friends or even a date night. The back or the restaurant is dark, but in a good way. They also had live music Saturday night (not sure if this is every night). It was a good volume, until they went back to the restaurant music and then it got LOUD. Not too bad, just was shocked that it was so loud. For food we started with my fave, miso soup. After that we had the Chirashi. It was a nice assortment and a good start to dinner. Next we did the Dragon Roll, a classic and they didn't disappoint. We had a couple mocktails and drinks and were able to chitchat before trying the Marisol Roll which was amazing! Lastly, we wrapped up the night with the Earl Grey Crème Brûlée, a great sweet treat. The atmosphere is chill, with great decor and thoughtful lighting and as the name suggests, bartenders always have a record going. The front room is largely the bar with high tops up front. They've put a cozier dining room in the back room. Great spaces for a friend catch-up or date. Since taking over the space from Cava, I also appreciate the bathroom upgrades.

Lots of standing room, limited seating, but the patrons are young, beautiful, and mostly college students from nearby schools. Not my crowd, but met one of my friends here after work in Arlington around 6:30 since the weather was perfect yesterday. We decided to go to my favorite restaurant for a more elevated experience and live music. One day, I'll come back to watch people ride the bull downstairs, which I imagine that to be hilarious and entertaining. I went for the first time back in October and I had a good time. The drinks were competitively price for Arlington proportions but the food AND cocktail menu are just painfully limited. If you're ordering just standard bar drinks like a domestic draft beer or a shot of tequila you're fine, but a grilled cheese sandwich on the menu? Seriously? The biggest attraction of this bar is the mechanical bull. But the caveat is that you need to get a ticket to ride it which costs $5. Not terrible pricing but considering PBR at Power Plant Live in Baltimore has a mechanical bull (and more space but will get to that in a bit) it feels like a slap in the face. But again it's $5 and I'm going to presume that money goes towards maintenance of the mechanical bull ride anyway. Also depending on what day and time you go be prepared to be packed like sardines. There's three rooms one of which is a dedicated dance floor. And the room farthest from the entrance, about 85% of the room is taken up by the mechanical bull. The first time I went there was no room in the mechanical bull room because they blocked off 5% of it for some group party reservation. We went up to the rooftop which was a bit more spacious but naturally if it's cold outside or raining you're obviously not going up there. Overall, BOE has potential but a limited food menu, and even more limited cocktail menu, and small indoor space makes this an easy bar to skip when there's a line out the door.

Our server, Kristina, (remembered her name because it's also my best friend's name) was hands-down the best I've ever had. Super attentive, kind, and she even helped us with directions & gave us directions on where to park when we got lost. That level of care is rare. She was nothing short of AMAZING!!!! The vibe is chill and laid-back with music, TVs, and a nice atmosphere. They also have an outdoor area with heat lamps (we'll definitely be back for that when it's warmer). It is not used for ordering, which was odd these days. Chill and super awesome bartender with the mother of all hickeys. Good pours. No Skrewball :-( I had the special, two hot dogs with tater tots. When it said double, I wasn't sure if that meant double the tater tots, but that meant actually two hot dogs. Really good. I also had the other special, the two pancakes. I meant to get the sausage, but they gave me the bacon instead. It was great. Well worth it. I thought that was the better value of the meals. They got a lot of board and card games. Very laid-back atmosphere, 90s and early 2000s pop on the music, comfortable seating, and good food. The prices were reasonable. This is one area that I think we are just going to have to deal with for quite some time. The give-and-take of prices,. Smothered tater tots, pancakes, two hotdogs with some tater tots, and three drinks came out to ~$55. NOT. BAD. Was it worth it? If this had been just a normal restaurant, I would've said no. It would've been more worth it if it had been about $40. But... nobody made us pay to use the board games, or the card games, and we sat there for three hours and had a really good time. So based on that, the fact they provide a venue for playing these games and hanging out for a few hours makes it all worth it. Really strange thing was that there was this balding guy with a beard that randomly showed up as a waiter. We had been dealing with a bartender, so this guy, kind of rude came on to us and we weren't sure what to do with him. He kind of blocked me from paying the bartender. Rude. Not a hangout spot every day, but certainly once a week, maybe once a month or more, definitely a place to meet up if you got a group. I was really surprised by the diversity of the people that were there. A lot of chess players, a whole table of middle-aged women, lots of different people playing games. I would give them five stars, but not quite perfect. The rude guy at the end was so odd. Otherwise, great location, great parking, the food was good, good value, and fun.
