Daniel is GREAT! He gave us a proposal to install equipment for our pool, which was lower than other service providers. He offered to either supply the equipment himself or let us order it (on Amazon), which was cheaper. He installed the gear at the agreed upon time and did a great job! He has also followed up and is doing a modification and including it in his original price, which he did not have to do. Highly recommended! read more

I first discovered Deleon pool service on the Next door app. It's kind of funny because I look at Yelp for everything. It just turned out that way but what a fantastic experience with Daniel and his crew. I first reached out to Daniel over a year ago. Maybe it was even the fall of 2023. We just moved in to our home and it was our first pool, the previous server of the pool, which I think I did leave a review for, starts with an H ends with a Bs, decided to unfriendly drop the account when there was a change in ownership . I was incredibly fortunate to find Daniel and he came out right away met with me and of course took a look at our pool . Our pool is not new. It's not even Gen X. It's just a hair older than that but it's still an incredibly good condition for its age. I believe when Daniel first came out to service the pool it was already turning green without any chemical treatments . After just two or three visits initially, the pool was ready to use sparkling clean, blue and welcoming. They also service our hot tub, which at this point has outlived its useful life, but nonetheless, they've kept it clean . Well, they're only obligated to service the pool once a week they have come out multiple times as needed to get on top of a broken pump to keep the pool from going south. I can't recommend Deleon's service enough! They have been so good to me, they are reasonably priced, competitive, and you would be hard pressed to find an equal servicer at this value! If you are looking for someone to service your pool or spa, I can only highly recommend them. I place all my trust in them coming onto my property, respecting my privacy with an incredible level of responsibility. If they're not servicing your pool yet, I hope you'll have them out soon! Thank you, Daniel, and my tech Ervin for exceptional pool care! read more

Deleon Pool Service is outstanding! We called them in a pinch when we were selling our home. We needed quick equipment fixes, pool cleaning on tight timeline. They came and gave very reasonible estimate and was never over estimated costs. We used them for 6 weeks and receieved a weekly email update with pH status, what they did and picture of the pool sparkling. Oh and pricing is not only reasonable, MUCH cheaper than some of the pool companys that have been in Marin for decades. We cannot recommend them enough!! read more

Deleon Pool Service trustworthy, prompt and reliable. Daniel came to inspect our leaking pump and was able to fix it on the spot. I recommend Deleon Pool Service for all your pool equipment maintenance. read more

Daniel has been great. Very organized and responsive. Not only does he know his systems, but he's even been able to explain something complex in a simple way (so I can understand it). He's serviced our pool and spa for over a year now and I couldn't be happier with his service. read more

Daniel is such a nice guy that I avoided writing this review. He is responsive, friendly and open about what he charges for service, which is the same as what everyone else charges. The work done by his team did not measure up, though. Over a year of service Deleon added a chlorine generator to convert to a saline pool, they replaced the heater, and the robot (twice), and conducted weekly service visits. The chlorine generator went well. The heater worked, but it was mounted on scrap wood until I demanded that it be bolted down. And the pool robots were a source of ongoing frustration until I switched service providers. The service guy was surly from the start. He measured water samples only occasionally, leaving the chemistry wrong most of the time. When he added chemicals he dumped them in the same spot each time, leaving deposits on the side of the pool. And when I pointed out (repeatedly) that the robot was not working well he grudgingly took his headphones off and grunted, "Talk to Daniel." But when I called Daniel the robot would not get fixed. Evanly is a professional service. They located the auto-fill mechanism on the first visit, and fixed the robot a day later. They reduced the pump speed to quiet the system and use less electricity. Their team members are professional, competent and polite. I wish Daniel good luck, but boy am I glad to have switched. read more

You can trust a person by their actions. And. I was given AMAZING service by Daniel at Deleon Pool. I called them with a problem: I had replaced my sweep booster pump myself but it wasn't working properly. I was sure I did everything right, but the manufacturer insisted I call a pool professional before sending it back. I called Deleon to come inspect the pump. After telling him my situation on the phone, he asked me a couple questions and explained over the phone what I needed to do to fix the issue. He waited while I did it, and the pump immediately worked perfectly. He could have come out and charged me a $$$ service call, but was kind and honest and helpful out of his own grace and experience. I would hire him for anything with my pool and will in the future. THANK YOU DELEON POOL SERVICE! read more

Great and thoughtful service by the owner of the business...much better than dealing with the big companies! Came out as scheduled and fixed my problem with pump not pulling water. Was very methodical and carefully checking everything to troubleshoot the issue. Very reasonable, and gave me advice about who to call about my eventual pool resurfacing project. Also quoted me for weekly maintenance, and although I usually do my own, it seemed very reasonable..Im considering it. Really really good! read more

Daniel came right on time and did an inspection of the electrical for a pump that stopped working. Unfortunately found the actual pump went out. Barely 6 years old Jandy Pro Series Epump, kinda disappointed. I'm waiting for Daniel on a quote to replace but also will call Jandy authorized dealer to see if they can give me some prorated discount as warranty is expired after 3 years from the pool company. If I don't work with Daniel this time, he will be the first I call if there is another problem in the future with our pool. read more

After taking care of my pool for 40 years, I decided it was time to turn that over to a pool company. I was referred to Deleon Pool Service by a neighbor. I can say that was a terrific decision to have them take care of our pool and spa. Daniel is extremely knowledgeable, polite and very conscientious. The pool looks terrific and the spa sparkles! I would highly recommend Daniel and Deleon Pool Service. A wonderful family business that you will be very happy with! George S. read more

Mikel Naso Greenbrae-Kentfield * 2 min ago * Deleon Pool Service made our pool sparkle again. The pump had been shut down for weeks due to a leak and the pool turned into a swamp. Professional, good work, quiet/clean. Been switching providers for the last 5 years and FINALLY found Danny and Johnathan who make our pool and hot tub sparkle & they're always friendly. Pricing is on par with the larger shops in Marin but service and quality is much better. read more

Excellent! We have owned a pool for over 15 years and had a bigger named company out of Novato for years. Prices kept climbing and customer service went to nothing. Thank God we found Daniel and Deleon pool service. It is a smaller family owner company so you get excellent communication and service. Daniel is extremely knowledgeable about pool equipment and has fixed so many things the bigger company ignored. I had spa jets that barely worked, and seriously 2 other pool companies could not figure it out. Daniel cleaned up the jets and adjusted some equipment and they are like brand new. He really knows what he is doing, and that is important. Love this company!! 5 stars! read more

Just started with them 2 months ago. Very happy. Just cancelled another company that was unfriendly and more costly.

My regular pool guy broke his leg and wasn't able to work for several months. I figured "How hard could this be?" and, after being out of town a bit, found out how positively wrong I was. Got green algae I couldn't get rid of and things weren't going in the right direction. Cleaned the pump filters (they were completely green) but then I coudn't seem to get air out of the system. You get the picture - things were going south and I was heading out of town again. I called Daniel on Friday and left a message. He called right back. He couldn't get there that day but he came on Saturday. First thing he did was clear the air out of the system so I could run the pump again and in just a few days the pool was clear. Responsiveness and result were both excellent. read more

Deleon Pool Service keeps my pool sparkling clean after years of summer green. Thanks for the great service.

We have a spa and wanted to do a function check on the filters, etc. Daniel was responsive and incredibly helpful. We will definitely contact Daniel for any professional spa servicing needs going forward. He was easy to chat with, friendly, honest and reliable. Highly recommend. read more

First time using Deleon Pool Service and couldn't be happier! I'm new to the whole pool experience and Daniel was patient enough to explain the process on cleaning a pool and what I need to have. He was on time, patient, and left my pool bright! Thanks Daniel read more

Where to begin. This is the kind of business with long-lost business values: hard-working, responsible, attentive, and takes pride in their work. We had a pool service for years that did not notice that our pool UV filter bulb was out, skipped our annual filter cleanings, but yet charged us a ridiculous monthly for dumping chlorine into our pool. Daniel and his team go above and beyond, rising our UV light, and even a leak in our solar (free of charge). Rare to recommend a service business with no reservations. Second to none. read more

We needed someone to help troubleshoot and asses our pool and to help us come up with a maintenance plan. Daniel was awesome. He came out, figured out what was needed, explained things clearly and worked with us to define a plan forward. Awesome results, service and reasonable price. read more

I HIGHLY recommend Daniel from Deleon Pool Service. He came out to help us with our pool - the chemical balance was off and we had some algae growing. He quickly knew what to do and had our pool sparkling clean again! He's responsive, knowledgeable, friendly and an all around good guy who wants to ensure you are a happy client! We've gone through a couple pool services and we found our person now! read more

These guys are great. After my pool service provider went MIA, leaving me with an algae ridden pond, I was scrambling for a new service. Daniel came recommended through a Facebook post and I couldn't be happier. He came in and assessed the situation with a professional and thoughtful eye. He took on the de-ponding quickly and efficiently and has been consistent, reliable and an excellent communicator. The pool has never looked better. Very skilled and professional. We've had several pool services over the years, and Deleon Pool Service has been the absolute best of them all. Our pool looks great. We used to have repeating algae problems, but we haven't had a single problem since Daniel and Jonathan started maintaining our pool. Their services are not limited to pool maintenance. Daniel recently replaced our pool pump for us, and we are very pleased with the result. The price was also very fair. Not only are they super competent, they are very friendly and kind. Highly recommend! read more

Had an above-ground pool with a bad algae problem and after several "we don't deal with above-ground" responses from other pool services in Marin, I finally found Deleon - and so happy I did! Quick, professional, and excellent service. They dealt with the cleaning, chemical rebalancing, checkup a few days later - everything. Reasonably priced too! Pool is sparkling again. Highly recommended. read more

We couldn't be happier with Daniel's pool service. He continues to do outstanding and reasonably-priced work on our pool, spa, and now fountain. As many of you know, it is hard to find excellent pool service in Marin County, and Daniel is the exception. He takes immense pride in his work which results in excellent service. read more

I moved to San Anselmo almost two years ago. The yard and pool was too much for me to maintain and a friend recommended I contact Daniel. At the time I had no idea he'd be able to help with both. I highly recommend Deleon Pool Service! Daniel Deleon is professional, kind, helpful, and affordable. He helped me by phone, text, and in person, free of charge! He put in many more hours than he billed for. I hired him to keep the chemicals balanced in my hot tub twice a month, but even before I hired him, he helped me out by phone free of charge! He goes above and beyond to help customers out and is very safe with Covid procedures! I really couldn't recommend him enough. Don't go to any other service provider--just use Deleon! read more

If you are looking for excellence in pool service, you will be more than pleased with Deleon Pool Service, a family owned and operated business. The pump on our pool suddenly stopped working on a Saturday morning, we located Deleon on web and one of the owners, Daniel, responded immediately to our request for help though he was already out in the field helping other clients. He offered to come out at the end of that day, (we had expected to wait until Monday to hear from anyone) so we didn't have to worry about what was happening. Daniel was able to diagnose AND fix the problem that same day and his rates were more than reasonable. We strongly recommend him and Deleon Pool Service to anyone who is looking for specialized help for a specific problem and/or for regular pool maintenance. Because Deleon is a family owned and operated business you can be sure that you will get personalized service from Daniel or the other three family members who are part of Deleon Pool Service. If you have any questions about anything having to do with your pool you won't be sorry if you work with them. They are experienced, hard working and dedicated to good customer service. read more
