I first discovered Deleon pool service on the Next door app. It's kind of funny because I look at Yelp for everything. It just turned out that way but what a fantastic experience with Daniel and his crew. I first reached out to Daniel over a year ago. Maybe it was even the fall of 2023. We just moved in to our home and it was our first pool, the previous server of the pool, which I think I did leave a review for, starts with an H ends with a Bs, decided to unfriendly drop the account when there was a change in ownership . I was incredibly fortunate to find Daniel and he came out right away met with me and of course took a look at our pool . Our pool is not new. It's not even Gen X. It's just a hair older than that but it's still an incredibly good condition for its age. I believe when Daniel first came out to service the pool it was already turning green without any chemical treatments . After just two or three visits initially, the pool was ready to use sparkling clean, blue and welcoming. They also service our hot tub, which at this point has outlived its useful life, but nonetheless, they've kept it clean . Well, they're only obligated to service the pool once a week they have come out multiple times as needed to get on top of a broken pump to keep the pool from going south. I can't recommend Deleon's service enough! They have been so good to me, they are reasonably priced, competitive, and you would be hard pressed to find an equal servicer at this value! If you are looking for someone to service your pool or spa, I can only highly recommend them. I place all my trust in them coming onto my property, respecting my privacy with an incredible level of responsibility. If they're not servicing your pool yet, I hope you'll have them out soon! Daniel is such a nice guy that I avoided writing this review. He is responsive, friendly and open about what he charges for service, which is the same as what everyone else charges. The work done by his team did not measure up, though. Over a year of service Deleon added a chlorine generator to convert to a saline pool, they replaced the heater, and the robot (twice), and conducted weekly service visits. The chlorine generator went well. The heater worked, but it was mounted on scrap wood until I demanded that it be bolted down. And the pool robots were a source of ongoing frustration until I switched service providers. The service guy was surly from the start. He measured water samples only occasionally, leaving the chemistry wrong most of the time. When he added chemicals he dumped them in the same spot each time, leaving deposits on the side of the pool. And when I pointed out (repeatedly) that the robot was not working well he grudgingly took his headphones off and grunted, "Talk to Daniel." But when I called Daniel the robot would not get fixed. Evanly is a professional service. They located the auto-fill mechanism on the first visit, and fixed the robot a day later. They reduced the pump speed to quiet the system and use less electricity. Their team members are professional, competent and polite. I wish Daniel good luck, but boy am I glad to have switched. read more

You can trust a person by their actions. And. I was given AMAZING service by Daniel at Deleon Pool. I called them with a problem: I had replaced my sweep booster pump myself but it wasn't working properly. I was sure I did everything right, but the manufacturer insisted I call a pool professional before sending it back. I called Deleon to come inspect the pump. After telling him my situation on the phone, he asked me a couple questions and explained over the phone what I needed to do to fix the issue. He waited while I did it, and the pump immediately worked perfectly. He could have come out and charged me a $$$ service call, but was kind and honest and helpful out of his own grace and experience. Daniel came right on time and did an inspection of the electrical for a pump that stopped working. Unfortunately found the actual pump went out. Barely 6 years old Jandy Pro Series Epump, kinda disappointed. I'm waiting for Daniel on a quote to replace but also will call Jandy authorized dealer to see if they can give me some prorated discount as warranty is expired after 3 years from the pool company. Just started with them 2 months ago. Very happy. Just cancelled another company that was unfriendly and more costly.

My regular pool guy broke his leg and wasn't able to work for several months. I figured "How hard could this be?" and, after being out of town a bit, found out how positively wrong I was. Got green algae I couldn't get rid of and things weren't going in the right direction. Cleaned the pump filters (they were completely green) but then I coudn't seem to get air out of the system. You get the picture - things were going south and I was heading out of town again. I called Daniel on Friday and left a message. He called right back. He couldn't get there that day but he came on Saturday. First thing he did was clear the air out of the system so I could run the pump again and in just a few days the pool was clear. Excellent! We have owned a pool for over 15 years and had a bigger named company out of Novato for years. Prices kept climbing and customer service went to nothing. Thank God we found Daniel and Deleon pool service. It is a smaller family owner company so you get excellent communication and service. Daniel is extremely knowledgeable about pool equipment and has fixed so many things the bigger company ignored.
