At first I didn't question the high prices much but that's cause everything is going up, but now I wish I had, it seems they are taking advantage of people and overpricing whatever they can. Someone there said "we can sometimes price match", which makes me ask "well if you can do it for less why are you charging so much until someone complains"? I noticed they haven't been very busy the last few times I went there and suspect if they continue these prices people will eventually go somewhere else. Here are a couple examples: Got a quote on recharging the A/C in a Nissan Sentra $286 Meineke did it for $177 and another shop (later) quoted $122 They charge me around $100 for synthetic oil change on a Sentra, another local shop charges about $70. I also had a brake job done there and the price seemed high at the time but I trusted them after dealing with them for maybe 15 years. I'm sure I could have saved a couple hundred on that. No longer recommended.

My wife works at home and rarely drives. A few months later she got another flat and Mr Tire said they all needed to be replaced for balance so she bought 4 new tires. A few months later she drove to Florida and got another flat while there. She went to Costco to get a new tire and Costco told her the tires Mr Tire sold her were all the wrong size.

We were told on the phone that it would be a couple hours before they could get to us, but we really had no choice. When we got there, we went into their waiting lounge and they were able to take the vehicle sooner than promised. Unfortunately, they were unable to salvage the tire, but they put my spare tire on without charge. I feel that they went above and beyond and I would definitely recommend this business.

Save yourself a big headache and go elsewhere. According to the 6 mechanics I spoke to as a result…read moreof going here, the mistake the tech made, made no sense to any of them. I brought my car in for a tire change. They couldn't find the special key socket to get the lock nuts off the wheels. I don't know how this thing got lost, I bought the car 2 years ago, and have never used it. But instead of sending me on my way, they tell me the technician put holes in my tires, so I can't drive my car. THERE IS ZERO REASON TO PUT HOLES IN TIRES THAT ARE ON A CAR. They offer to pay for a rental car, so that I can go get a replacement key socket. Thanks, let me take time off work to correct the issue you created. But guess what? That's not even an option. The dealer needs the car there to determine which key will work. (Thanks Volvo) And, by the way, at this point I have spoken to 4 mechanics who have told me that there are tools to remove these nuts, but Pep Boys said they had tried all their tools, and couldn't get them off. So when I call them back and tell them they will have to tow the car to my dealer, they say well, I have my master tech here today, let us try to get them off. Fine. So I get a call back, that success! The nuts are off. great. When I go pick up the car, poor Cody is by himself. The manager and tech I have been dealing with are nowhere to be seen. My bill is full price, and there are burn marks on my wheels. It appears they used a torch to get the nuts off. I will never take a vehicle to a Pep Boys again, and I strongly advise you to run far and fast.
