No one called charged her a minimal labor fee, plus she waited two weeks to get the appointment. I know you guys are busy but really just a simple phone call? Maybe there's another auto repair business in town that wants $1000? Uggh.

At first I didn't question the high prices much but that's cause everything is going up, but now I wish I had, it seems they are taking advantage of people and overpricing whatever they can. Someone there said "we can sometimes price match", which makes me ask "well if you can do it for less why are you charging so much until someone complains"? I noticed they haven't been very busy the last few times I went there and suspect if they continue these prices people will eventually go somewhere else. Here are a couple examples: Got a quote on recharging the A/C in a Nissan Sentra $286 Meineke did it for $177 and another shop (later) quoted $122 They charge me around $100 for synthetic oil change on a Sentra, another local shop charges about $70. I also had a brake job done there and the price seemed high at the time but I trusted them after dealing with them for maybe 15 years. I'm sure I could have saved a couple hundred on that. No longer recommended.

My wife works at home and rarely drives. A few months later she got another flat and Mr Tire said they all needed to be replaced for balance so she bought 4 new tires. A few months later she drove to Florida and got another flat while there. She went to Costco to get a new tire and Costco told her the tires Mr Tire sold her were all the wrong size.

In a field with nothing else around but a cemetery across the street, we pulled into a "business" with a residence, garage, a series of piles of tires, and a bunch of broken vehicles. All I could hear in my head was "Dueling Banjos." I think fortunately for everyone, the proprietor was nowhere to be found. We found ourselves going a little further to Firestone in Salisbury, MD. The guys there were terrific. We joked with the manager about our road trip from PA to NC to get married, and he marveled at our bravery. As we stood in the parking lot with our bags, wedding paraphernalia, and Keurig coffee maker, they worked quickly to put a new tire on the wheel to get us on our way inside of 20 minutes. The manager called my fiancé and I over when they were done and handed us the invoice. He said, "We don't want you guys to have any bad memories of your trip - only good. We took care of your bill. Congratulations and have a great wedding." We could not believe our good fortune. I cried. I hugged him. We bestowed superlatives upon him promising to shower them with compliments and gratitude on their website and social media. What a round-about way of experiencing the benevolence of others as a gift for our wedding. We are truly blessed! The guys there are truly top-notch, and we truly appreciate their generosity!!
