New location for us, it was nice to be able to crush this in Hurricane, instead of having to drive to Cedar City! The restaurant was clean and the employees were constantly cleaning and replenishing the table side sauces. Napkins are also at the table, so order your food, get your fountain drink and go sit. You can never go wrong with the beef or steak nachos or fries. Always spot on and huge portions. Side of crinkle fries is a requirement like Taco Johns Potato Oles! Found this place on our drive through Arizona , it was my first time trying out and I was surprised by the taste . The green sauce used in the 8 layer burritos were nice and spicy . I went through the drive through at 1:30 am asking for the taco night tacos. I was told it was already considered Wednesday so I ordered something different. As I pulled up to the window I saw that the sign said taco night ends at 4am. This female cashier has always seemed less friendly and less willing to do her job. Food was still as good always. She's a middle aged Hispanic lady with black hair, and honestly one of the nicest people I've come across at any fast food place. Every time I come through, she's polite, professional, and makes sure everything is right with my order. You can tell she takes pride in her job and really cares about the customers. Just had their bacon double cheeseburger and it was so good! The bacon was crispy, the bun toasted and the hamburger had that little bit of char on it. The fries were hot and crispy. This is the place to go for a good fast food burger. read more

OK, so we've been hearing some good things about a new fast food joint here in Hurricane, Utah, so we checked out the menu on their website and decided to give it a try. We're glad we did, as it was a shocking surprise. Having never been to a Del Taco before, my expectations were pretty low. Boy, was I wrong. Why have I wasted so much time at the ding-dong place? I decided to do a taste test, so I ordered seven different items while spousal unit just ordered one item and a drink. She's conservative, you know. We took our larder home and began the test. Here's what we found. * All items were prepared right in front of us, unlike that other franchised mexican place, with the name that rhymes with Del. You see everything that's happening on the assembly line. * All items were AMPLY stuffed with ingredients. I watched them slather on the refries, pile on the cheese, etc., and couldn't quite believe it. The portions were at least 20% larger than the rhyming place. * I concentrated on the breakfast menu, even reluctantly ordering three items with the carne filling. I fully expected to hate it. * I LOVED everything I tasted. Flavors were full and robust. All portions were uniformly ample. Every item tasted absolutely fresh. Even the packets of salsa were tasty but not punishing. * Did I mention the ample portions? I literally just finished the last item for lunch today, so I got 2.5 meals out of my seven items, spousal unit got 2.0 meals out of hers. She's conservative, you know. * And to top it off, the young lady that waited on us, Yari, was simply AMAZING. She zipped around the entire place like an Olympic miler, taking orders, stocking bottles of orange juice, wiping tables, and helping several of her fellow employees when they didn't seem to have a clue what they were doing. * You DEFINITELY want Yari to be the one who takes your order. She's brilliant at her job and flashes a dazzling smile to boot. Try getting that at any other fast food joint. * And to top it all off, we compared our usual bill at the ding-dong place for three items and two drinks, with our bill at Yari's place for eight AMPLY STUFFED items and one drink, and came up just pennies shy of $30 at each place. Our conclusion? Less than half the cost of the ding-dong place, wonderful flavors, ample portions, all delivered with a dazzling smile ... you be the judge. See ya at the Del. read more
