We absolutely love Taco Time, so anytime we are in Utah or a state that has a Taco Time, we always stop. There is just a little nostalgia about ordering a crisp meat burrito, tots (mexi-fries) and crustos!! If you've never had crustos, you are missing out. It is ok to get a fast food taco. I had 2 tacos for $6. A good deal. They are connected to a gas station so that is good.

We don't have these in Denver, but was introduced by my brother when they were in Kansas at one time. So now, when we see one, we definitely have to make a special stop at it. So many items so little time to enjoy it. I would love for TT to come out to Colorado, to give it some different zest than Taco Bell, Del Taco, and Taco John's. read more

I'm from out of state, so never heard of this place. I mistakenly thought it would be like a local mexican restaurant...but it seems more like a wanna be Taco Bell / Del Taco, but worse. I'm from Southern California, so I'm accustomed to Mexican food. Got a burrito (which I saw they microwaved....ewwwww), and maybe an hour later or so, had to pull over to a gas station, and wow, I confess to murdering this poor, innocent gas station toilet. I've had food poisoning once or twice in my life, but this was some warped reaction, and without getting graphic, let's just say that gas station bathroom is RIP. I thought it was cool to try a new Mexican chain while on vacation. I love Mexican fast food, but this place was not very good. The prices were also on the high side. I ordered the chicken Big Juan and the fish taco. The big Juan had no flavor and the fish taco was subpar. I would rather go to Taco Bell or Del Taco instead. Everything seemed pre-made and heated in the microwave. THIS IS NOT MEXICAN FOOD. They should be ashamed of the food quality. read more

1st time to any Taco Time...so try the tacos... I ordered 2 regular tacos and a Diet Coke. In true taste test procedure, I ate 1 as is and used a little "medium green" sauce on the other. Without sauce = just ok. Lettuce "wilted and wet" - tomatoe passable. The meat was spiced - tasted ok, but it was "mushy" - texture was gone. With sauce - a slight bit better...but not enough so to say more than that. Oh and the tacos had rice on them. A first time in my taco eating history. Rice was flat - no spice. Can't recommend this experience. Friendly staff though - I will give them the plug. Next time? Del Taco. read more

Don't eat at taco time, I literally just witnessed one of their workers use the restroom and walk out without washing her hands! Disgusting.

I wasn't really feeling this stuff but wanted something familiar and comfortable and you could do worse than their 4 for $5 thing. Time in short supply and running way late on lunch, as my rumbling tummy was apt to remind me over and over, this was the best bet at the time. Turns out they did everything very satisfactory, although crunchy on the overcooked side with everything. I can hang there, though. One neat thing is you can drinks at the Bloomington Market (this is inside it) fountain, which features a very excellent selection to wet thy whistle. Sadly I moved away from this particular fast food chain seven years ago and only get to reconnect with it once every 3 or 4 years. It still holds up and brings a smile to my face. Reading some of the reviews make sure you have the right Taco Time you are reviewing there are two in town. I have lived here in St. George for ten years and the one in the Bloomington Market off exit four is consistently fabulous. It is extremely clean, food is hot and fresh and the staff is amazing!! The Taco Time on St George Blvd. not so good and these two have different owners. I have always had a great experience, hands down the best in St. George!! read more
