Which she said was the chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, and cheeseburger. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, fries, and chili. She asked if we wanted a combo or separate cheeseburgers. He relied no combos. When we got to the window to pay, the amount was $8 more than we anticipated. After we got the food, I checked the bag and asked for the receipt. We saw that instead of charging 2 for $7 for the Dave single cheeseburgers (which was the special), we got charged $7 each. Oh no! So we asked for a refund for the difference. The cashier stated that we ordered wrong because we declined the combos. I'm confused at this point and asked for $7 back. She gave us $7 but kept our receipt. The actual amount owed back to us was closer to $8.63. But we took the $7 and moved on. And the Dave's singles were the tiniest Dave's single burger I've seen. They seem to be jr sized patties just fancied up with lettuce, tomato slice, and onions to pass off as a Dave single. Ugh.

The service at this location was mediocre at best. The restaurant itself was clean but remains the standard Wendy's environment.

Needless to say, with this unexpected observer, it took me much longer to order. And the adults in the group took this opportunity as free babysitting and didn't rail her away. McD should move the dining table or move the ordering kiosk so to not have them side by side in close proximity to each other. I got my food quickly. Too quick perhaps. Music wasn't too loud, Tables were relatively clean for a Thursday afternoon and Service was very good. I noticed the guys working on the food after we order, I had no idea it was made it order. That's absolutely amazing. It takes a few minutes, however the food is soooo worth it. The buns are Martins Potato Buns and of course, being Martins they're super tasty! A lot of High end chains use Martins so naturally, I was happy to see the brand. (These buns stay together but when sauced they like to slide and that's how I could tell it was Martins! After our food, we were able to get lids and to-go boxes just by asking the gentleman working there. I think his name was Andrew if I remember correctly. There's a small crew working here that is very nice and hard working. I've never once seen any big issues here and the food is pretty consistent. There are some small changes here and there, but the food overall is very good compared to other restaurants. This place isn't even a chain and it's super tasty. I wish they were closer to where I live because I would end up eating here 2-3 days a week. It sucks my daughter can't have this food otherwise I'm sure she'd love this one too. She has a peanut allergy, and they do use peanut oil as I asked the last time I came here. (do your due diligence and make sure you ask about allergens if you are allergic to peanuts) They do in fact, use Peanut oil. If you want some good food, This is a place to try. I've been here a couple of times already. Don't expect this place to be your typical fast food. They're not your average fast food because if anything, it is fast casual. Service is very well. I can't imagine Andrew having a single bad bone in his body. If you want cheap frozen ready to go food, this is not the place. If you want something made to order, then this is your jam. Only thing I can mention: Soda selection is smaller than usually used to when I eat outside of home. Honorary Mention: Service is killer dude's an Angel. (Stubborn Brand Root Beer), Martins Potato Buns, Crispy Steakhouse Fries and Suuuuuper Tasty Mac & Cheese. The next time I stop by, I will try their Sweets and Update my Review. Del Taco has always been a reliable spot for me. I've been coming here for years and never had any issues. I had been only once to a different Jimboy's location 10 years ago when I first moved here from Florida and thought the food was too Americanized. I decided to give Jimboy's another chance especially since this location was rebuilt a few years ago pre-pandemic after being burned down. The place is new outside and inside. The cashier was friendly young man and recommend the ground beef tacos. I went with the GB taco and bean burrito combo. When I looked at the receipt I was pleasantly surprised and reminded of my advancing age since the cashier gave me a 10% senior discount! The food came out and everything tasted fine. The food is indeed Americanized as was evident by the many white seniors dining in and the absence of any Mexican people. Nonetheless I really enjoyed my meal and am looking forward to coming back.

I found the menu a bit big to fully read while standing. I liked that the order taker asked if I wanted both rice and beans, allowing me to skip the rice and get twice the beans (choice between black and refried). We sat in the outside patio, which is very pleasant (if you can ignore the Folsom Blvd traffic, which I could). Our food came within about ten minutes. I went to the salsa bar first. They had a variety of salsas (mild, medium, hot). I got the two hot ones, and liked both. My food was good. The tacos were fine, but as mentioned, I guess Mahi Mahi isn't my first choice for fish. The beans were good, and the chips were nothing special, but still tasty. My husband had Tony's Grain Bowl with Salmon. He said he'd have preferred a bit more grains, as they were barely noticeable compared to the greens. He liked the fruit salsa a lot, and the touch of hot honey. He said the salmon was cooked exactly the way he likes -- fully cooked, but not dried out. He later learned from the website that a burrito can be ordered as a bowl instead, which would've led him to a different selection that he might have enjoyed even more. A good first experience for us. Maybe next time we'll spend more time looking at the menu first.
