His team of six came to my home Saturday morning at 8 a.m. The tree and stump removed went smooth and the workers were very professional. Miguel stopped by after the job was done and suggested that he could trim up ten palm trees and four addition overgrown trees. He gave me a good price because his crew was already on site and they had a little addition time before their next job. Once trimmed, the palm trees looked fantastic as did the other trees. The entire job was done by noon. Overall, Alejandro's Tree Service did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend them and I will use this service in the future. I didn't have much time to fix it on my own. Had a guy come out and quote me $450 just to dig it up and identify the problem, I knew that was a scam. I contacted Ramirez Landscaping sent them a video of the problem and they offered to come out right away giving me a quote over the phone. Daniel came out identified the problem, dug it up I gave him some assistance and he fixed the issue in about an hour sticking to the original quote. I couldn't be happier they really helped me out when I only had one day off before I return to work and didn't have the time to fix the issue myself. They were overly insistent, even yelling at my brother over the fence in the back yard to get his attention, and it soon became apparent that they wanted to do our job a day early because they had booked a more lucrative job into the time slot that had originally been reserved for us. I texted Danny, the leader of these renegades, who basically told me that if they couldn't do the job a day earlier, then they would not be doing the job at all. I tried to reason with him, but he simply stopped responding to my texts. Why couldn't he have just been honest with us in the first place and told us that they had given our scheduled time slot to someone else and needed to reschedule instead of trying to saddle us with the lie that they happened to be in the neighborhood and working two houses down from us, which wasn't true? We agonized so much and wasted so much time getting estimates for removal…read moreof a massive dead pine tree in our back yard and were told by various services that it would take 3 to 4 hours to do the job, that we most likely would need to have a crane, and that it would be extremely tricky to remove. We had initially hired Danny Elene of Elene Tree Service and his motley crew, but his crew showed up a day early one morning without warning and basically demanded to do the job on that morning or not at all. Needless to say, we declined. We then proceeded to speak to several new tree services and settled on Jesus of Jesus Tree Service because he agreed to match our lowest bid, he was straight with us, he didn't play games or use scare tactics, and he didn't display an ounce of cocky bravado, as most of them tend to do. He willingly and happily showed us his license and his proof of insurance, and he was one of the very few who stated what should've been obvious to most, which is that removal using a crane would not be feasible in our case due to several rows of electrical wiring overhead. We decided to trust him and his unbelievably quick and careful crew, and it was quite an impressive sight to witness their outstanding teamwork. They were extremely focused, extremely efficient, unbelievably tidy, and they didn't trample on any of our many pretty flowerbeds. They removed the huge dead pine tree in short order and left the stump cut precisely at ground level. They also stacked up the resultant logs very neatly and left our yard spotless, without a trace of debris in sight. Best of all, they managed to complete the job in an hour and 15 minutes flat, in less than half the time that was estimated by the other tree services. All of the cautions and fears and warnings that had been proffered and impressed upon us by other so-called tree "experts" turned out to be totally unwarranted. The crew was scheduled to arrive at 8am on Friday, but unfortunately, no one showed up at the agreed-upon time. After reaching out to your office, we were told the crew would arrive between 8am and 12pm. However, that window also passed with no sign of anyone, and our follow-up call went unanswered. Eventually, the crew arrived at 4:45pm and completed the trimming on all the trees--except our pear tree, which we didn't realize at the time. The crew left all the trimmings piled on our driveway and assured my husband that they would return at 8am on Saturday to remove the debris. Sadly, by 5:30pm on Saturday, no one had come by to take care of the mess, and since we hadn't received a return call to my husband's message on Friday, I decided to call from my phone, hoping you might recognize a new number and respond. I left a voicemail, and thankfully, you called me back promptly. During our conversation, I mentioned both the leftover trimmings and the untrimmed pear tree. Later, the owner texted to apologize for the inconvenience and said someone would be out on Sunday. I also asked for $50 off the total bill, given the hassle and the incomplete work on the pear tree, but never heard back regarding that request. On Sunday morning at 7:00am, a crew arrived with a grinder to finally remove all the trimmings--an early start I'm sure my neighbors weren't too thrilled about.
