    Located right on 107st this Italian restaurant is close to everything. The restaurant is decently located and the decorations are nothing special. The service was extremely slow. Took about 1 hour for the server to get our orders. Then it took about 30 minutes to get our food. The service seemed very unorganized. The food was decent nothing super special and it did not make up for the poor service. Overall decent food, bad service. A place to come once and that's it.

    Delicious and relaxing with great service and food that you could really taste the effort that was put into it! My friend and I were craving good Italian food and had heard nothing but great things! We made a reso on good table and when we came in early they were happy to accommodate us. Overall just a lovely dinning experience.

    Came here for dinner during Downtown Dining week. Reservations easily made via OpenTable. Service was pleasant. Food quality and quantity is very respectable. Bruschetta and caprese solid starts to our meal. Bolognese and pescatore pasta dishes tasty and executed well. Margherita Pizza was also solidly executed and a great option for my kiddo. The only disappointment were the dessert options tied to the set menu. Tiramisu was one of my least favourite tried (I'm usually a huge fan) as it wasn't creamy enough and relied too heavily on lady fingers plus taste was off balance. Zeppoles (mini donuts) were oddly tough and chewy and not in a pleasant way. Neither dessert was finished. So skip those desserts and save room for appetizers and mains.

    Great fresh tomatoes and soft bocconcino (sp) cheese on the caprese salad. Excellent lunch special and a lunch sized pasta. All were great. Service was good as well though the music made hearing and speaking hard.

    We decided to give this place a shot after seeing their menu listed on the Downtown Dining Week page. And we weren't disappointed! This place used to be a Vietnamese restaurant, but switched over to Italian in June 2020. Quite a challenging time to open up a new restaurant in downtown Edmonton during a pandemic! But, you should really give it a shot because the food and experience overall was pretty fantastic! We made a reservation for 6pm and glad we did as it filled up quickly. Our server was very friendly and knew the menu well. We placed our food order around 6:15. I opted for the $35 menu from the Downtown Dining week and chose the Arrancini balls, the Penne Con Pollo e Pancetta as the pasta and the Tiramisu for dessert. My spouse went with Piccante pizza for his entree. Our server brought out some warmed buns and it took quite awhile for the arrancini balls to come out. We weren't bothered by the delayed serving time, but some people could be. This is the only "glitch" of the evening and the one disappointment, but it was fixed by our server. The arrancini balls came out luke warm and the sauce that came with it was cold. I don't think it was an issue of it sitting under a warming plate too long, because the cheese in the middle of the ball was still in chopped form, it hadn't been melted at all. The flavor was very good and this little issue wouldn't stop us from ordering it again. We did tell our server and she asked if we wanted a new order, a fresh order to take home, or a different appetizer. We chose the Bruschetta in replacement and it was very good. A touch too much garlic (and I love garlic), but overall we enjoyed them quite a bit. It did take awhile for our entrees to come out (over an hour), but both dishes were fantastic! My pasta was hot, the sauce was creamy and flavorful, big chunks of chicken and I really enjoyed it! My spouses pizza was very large, and the meat was delicious as well. It had a bit of a spice to it which was great. And last but not least was the tiramisu. It came in a martini cup and while I haven't had a lot of tiramisu desserts, so I can't claim knowledge on how traditional it was, we enjoyed it quite a bit. It was creamy, had a nice coffee flavor to it and was perfect to split between the two of us. Even with the minor issue of the arrancini balls, we really enjoyed our meals and would definitely go back. Their prices for their food is all very reasonable and the portions are huge! There were only 2 servers on a Friday night, and I don't think they were expecting to be that busy. They were at Covid capacity, so an extra server or bus person would have been helpful to both of them. We did have wine, beer and water as beverages and would have ordered more if we had been asked. It took around an hour for our water to be refilled, we ate most of our entrees without any beverages as we had already finished our wine, beer and water. Our dining experience was about 2 hours from start to finish. Our server was very friendly and we're not going to let a couple of minor things stop us from coming back. Thanks for a fabulous dinner and date night! We'll be back!

By the time the Pollo Al Mattone came around, I could only manage a mouthful of the succulent brick chicken and the fresh cabbage salad as I was so full and would need to be rolled out of the restaurant. They also charged $2.50 for hot water. Food was okay but nothing memorable.
