    A bit of a issue in self checkout area...On 01/1/18, i stopped by the customer service deck to pick…read moreup a pre paid item that was ordered online...great service there..had to show a photo ID and sign for the item but that was expected....placed the item in the cart and went back into the store for more shopping....after that was completed i headed for the Self checkout area....while checking out the other items, a Home Depot employee assigned to the self checkout area, an older lady with a cane, approached me and asked me for the receipt for the item that i picked up at the customer service area...I was in a hurry so i got the receipt from my pocket and handed it to her...She walked away with it and i continued to check out the other items....Upon leaving the checkout area i headed towards the door....She was standing by the door and specifically waited for me to returned the customer service item receipt to me.. Why was this necessary?...I already went thru all the security issues at the customer service desk....I could have left the customer area and gone home or continue to shop....I shopped....I felt intimidated by this lady as she physically waited for me to leave before she returned my receipt to me....In the past, i have picked up items from the customer service area and walked thru the store , bought nothing and walked right out the door to my car...not one time did any employee question the item picked up at the customer desk that was laying in my cart as i left the building...this older lady employee needs to be retrained..OVERKILL on her part...

    I have been a long time customer. I have torn up my credit card. The service for ordering a water…read moreheater has been disastrous. It was scheduled on a specific day. It never arrived. I contacted customer service. They claimed it was set for several days later; I sent copies of confirmation messages and emails. MY FAMILY HAS NO WATER either hot or cold. Then I receive an email telling me that the scheduled delivery had been moved to the new date. HOW CAN THIS BUSINESS OPERATE WITH SUCH INCOMPETENCE? Representatives were of NO USE, either confirming the order was being delivered on the original date or asking me for confirmation phone numbers that I do not have. I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH HOME DEPOT---EVER!!! Meanwhile, we my family must live without any water. AVOID ANY ORDER PURCHASE VIA HOME DEPOT. If I could give HD a "0" rating, I would.

    On my way to a work trip I realized I forgot some important items that would aide in my duties. I…read moreneeded these so that I could start my duties at the beginning of the week and finish my duties at the end of the week. In all honesty, I only realized I was missing these items as I got nearer to my destination. This Lowe's was the first thing I saw and decided it was my best option. Pulling into the parking lot was a bit confusing since this sits on a busy intersection corner, but I was able to figure it out enough to find a parking spot. Once inside it was a bit of confusion as well. I knew what I needed, but each item was in a different area where I though it would be. I had to do some searching, but in the end I was able to find what I need with no assistance from any of the staff. Self checkout at the front made for a quick exit and I did not need a bag. It was a decent visit, even if it was not the easiest visit. Getting back on the road from here, not the easiest either, but not something you can avoid.

Obviously Lowes did a poor job of vetting them. They rescheduled twice and today they clearly cancelled out in us saying they don't have a pro in our area to do the installation. They said they would refund the $$$ but that doesn't do any good if I don't get the thing installed. I al putting out the word - buyer BEWARE. We have positive experiences with Lowes in California, where we moved from. We won't be attempting to use their handyman service again.

She worked tirelessly to make sure we were able to get a new microwave oven / refrig- freezer that Millman's could not fix. We paid next to nothing to receive these items. We had our own contractors install these items the right way and now after months of no microwave or freezer we are good to go. Thank You, Joannie I will never forget your hard work. I am giving Joannie 5 stars not Millman's Appliances. Maureen

    I purchased a dishwasher several weeks ago and never heard about the delivery as I was told someone…read morewould contact me. I kept calling scheduling and customer service, left several voicemails with no call back. Finally, I called sales and got a live person who would give my message to Sam. He never called me back so I called again and threatened to cancel my order, then he called me back. He said they are down a person and delivery would probably be in 2 weeks. Ok, at least I had a time frame. However, I received a voice mail yesterday saying they would be delivering the next day between 10 am and 4 pm and that I would receive a call 30 min prior. So, today, I never got a call 30 min prior, I got a call when the delivery guys were in front of my door and I was not home! So the delivery guys said they would return in the afternoon and I said that would work. They called me prior, asked if I was ready and I replied yes. Eric and Eric arrived and did an excellent job of installing the dishwasher. They were kind, polite and very efficient at their job. Can't say enough about the Erics, but I can say that I will not be buying from Millmans again after being treated poorly with their poor customer service and scheduling.
