Great find ! I've been in Denver for business since Feb at the springhilll and I'm actually disappointed I haven't tried this restaurant more often . Came in to grab my room service after a long work day and Ryan delivered spectacular service ! Food was great but drinks were top tier as well . 1st time in Ryan provided a selection of ciders to choose from and today made the best margarita I have had in a while . I had a second . Great service !Degree burger and steak and frites were perfect . read more

Stopped here on our walk to Meow Wolf. Service was fantastic. Management is On.Point. Had two cocktails which were yummy. Ordered artichoke jalapeño dip which was very good. read more

We ate here prior to a cirque du soleil show. The restaurant is part of the Marriott on the Auroria campus. The food was good, but not great. It's a small restaurant and more of a modrrn bar like atmosphere. They did have a decent drink selection read more

The flatbread was a tostino pizza lol like the ones back in grade school... very disappointing.

For the last few years we have been coming here before Nuggets games, and loved it. This year they changed up most of the menu and it's really gone down hill, The service is similar to before but the food does not taste good and is not cooked well. read more

Goodness this place is awful. The food looks like a child made it. Mutual dishes in our dining party were wildly inconsistent ($8 happy hour calamari came with no sauce and literally 5 pieces, while our other friend got a lot of seafood + sauce) and the food was so flavorless!! The Mongolian ribs tasted like cardboard, our friend couldn't even finish it because they tasted so awful! The only positive to our experience was our waiter, John, who was super friendly and attentive. Save your time and money, walk a few blocks and go to any of the other better restaurants in the Larimer Square area. read more

I am some friends went here on November 19th prior to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert at the Pepsi Center. We were attracted by the valet parking and the reviews. The food was good. We had the chips and tiger shrimp appetizers. The chips were a little bland for my taste, but the salsa and guacamole were excellent. The shrimp appetizer was incredible! I had the Cubano sandwich, and it was SO good! The fries were thin and crispy - just how I like them. My friends were very complimentary of their entrees, as well. The only reason that I did not give Degree five stars was that the service was just a little bit slow. The place was not extremely crowded, so no excuse there. Overall, I would really recommend this place! read more

This place is amazing. The food, the setting, the service. You don't realize it's in the University but it's a wonderful find. Our waiter was Jace and he was absolutely awesome. The drinks were delicious and fun. I ordered the burger and it was prepared perfectly. My date ordered the chicken and it was equally impressive. The little twists and unique food preparations and presentations were delicious and fun. I will definitely go back. Bonus: It's walking distance from Pepsi Center which is how we found it. read more

Great place and great drinks! Our server Alí helped and introduced me to new drinks i really enjoyed. will definitely always stop by whenever i'm in Denver read more

This is my favorite happy hour place. It is located in MSU Denver campus. Nice place to hang out. Heaven is amazing!

Excellent EXCELLENT meal and service. Highly recommend the Colorado Club...it's unreal and the pickled green tomatoes make it. Bartender David makes a mean cocktail!! read more

Weird location- in metro state and behind a hotel- but let me tell you... Good food for sure! The Brussels wee crispy and perfect. The Mac and cheese was too good to share! Good selection of wines and beer. Close location to Pepsi Center. read more

I was looking for a dinner spot close to the Pepsi Center and decided to give this place a try. I'm so glad we did! It's a little hidden and maybe why there weren't very many people there on an event night. They have a great happy hour and the food was excellent. The menu is very creative and fun. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and location. The maple Siracha sauce was my favorite. I think this will be my new go to for pre Pepsi Center events! read more

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was good but what made our dining experience great was our server Heaven. She was very attentive and made sure we were doing well. We never felt like we had to get her attention to ask for more water or the check, it was like she could read our minds and knew when we needed/wanted something. A simple meal consisting of burgers and manhattans made our day. Because of Heaven we will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to our friends! read more

This on campus restaurant is a gem. The location is great and convenient. The food is fantastic too! I especially love the Brussels Sprouts and the Burger. They have rotating beers and the current watermelon beer is great! The staff is fantastic and will always make you feel welcome. Heaven, my waitress was great, and she had great knowledge of the menu! Always a pleasure stoping by! read more

I went to Degree after an afternoon Avalanche game and it was perfect for an early dinner! We started with their hummus plate which was much more involved than usual hummus- it was a huge plate with roasted veggies and olives to accompany the hummus and pita. The table also ordered the Brussels sprouts- so interesting with sausage, pine nuts and cranberries! One other person ordered their burger- we were told it's one of the most popular items- the patty was juicy and skinny fries are my favorite. Dessert was ice cream and a trio of banana muffins with homemade blueberry/peach jam and soft butter. They were very proud of the jam. Not a crumb was left. I would return to Degree in a heartbeat- so close to the Pepsi Center and the Denver Center Theater complex. I hear they're always putting new additions on the menu so I'm sure there will be more to try next time! read more

When you find it you will never forgot this hidden jewel. Mary our server was just the best and since my sister and I share everything she had them split it for us. The brussel sprouts with the blueberry gastrique was unique and scrumptious. I had the Denver's slaw hog and the pork was expertly smoked and full of flavor. We also split the cornbread salad a wonderful combination with fresh figs goat cheese and a fantastic dressing. read more

Good ambiance and attentive waiter- but it is a hard to find location. As for the Food it was just ok- Brussels sprouts and chips and salsa were best. Some items priced well- others not worth what you get. My Main course was just "eh" - the steak was $21 and comes looking burnt - waiter said it is intentional and comes with a charcoal seasoning? It turned the entire plate black and was all over my French fries - it was editable and not burned but upset the tummies of the two of us who had the steak- beyond curious of why or what was costed all over the steak? Others had shrimp po'boy and bread and pickles were amazing, tiger prawns were slightly rubbery and fries went back due to being over seasoned with Old Bay seasoning. Ribs were good and comes with a lot of food- drinks from bar were also good. read more

Wow! I was reluctant at first but when I had a taste of this amazingly fresh salad I was in LOVE This was my side salad to their chicken sandwich -a taste like no other!! The green chili cheese was decant! If you want chef recipes delivered at a fair price check out DEGREE!! read more

This restaurant is attached to a hotel and university. The hotel is gorgeous!!!!! We had a really great lunch here with my sister and all our kiddos! The server, Mary Pamela was super sweet. Because of kiddos, we went early when the restaurant wasn't full, so the food all came out in good time. I believe they have transitioned to a new menu because of a new chef since we ate there and I look forward to going back to try the new menu next time we are in Denver!! read more

Small cafe with amazing food and great service. Loved, loved the Brussels Sprouts and the rest of our party loved the jalapeño slaw and club sandwich. Not a fan of the home made chip seasoning but that's just personal preference. We will be back. read more

Great food and happy hour specials! This may be our go to place before games at the Pepsi center

I'll start by saying Degree is a casual, relaxing restaurant with great food. I have followed executive chef Chris Moore and his menus are always inventive with lots of culinary choices and plenty of flavor. His current menu has a great mix of salads, small plate appetizers, sandwiches and entrees. Chef Moore is outstanding with so many cuisines - Asian, Italian and American are featured on the menu as of Sept 2019. Service was great. Our waitress, Kat was friendly and attentive. The location is a bit difficult to find - across the parking lot from the Spring Hill Suites on the shared Auraria campus. It is very close to the Pepsi Center and this will be a great place for an Avs or Nuggets game or a concert. read more

Took my 10 year old niece here for her birthday before the Fleetwood Mac concert. She thought the ribs were too spicy (I didn't think so but I'm not 10, so do with that what you will) but the service was good and my BLAT was delicious. Would definitely return - so much better than the other Pepsi Center options. read more

We stopped in to get drinks before calling it a night, and we were not disappointed. The Tito's mule was so good and the bartender, Heaven, was great. Will be stopping in for another nightcap soon! read more

This is probably one of my favorite places to get a drink and a bite to eat. The wait and bar staff are phenomenal. Our server, Heaven, was exceptional! She made sure we had everything that we needed, was so personable, and even suggested a most delicious drink (bee knees). The food was amazing as well. I can't say enough wonderful things about Degree. read more

Went before an avalanche game 10/6/18. Made it just enough time for happy hour. $3 beer can't pass up. Great service. The shared ribs were absolutely the best thing I have ever ate. The potato app was bomb too! Ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of Mac .. best pork I have nothing negative to say.. lol definitely will be back! read more

What a great treat it was to find Degree. The first time we ate here was for lunch. Our server (red-headed) was very attentive, particularly good with the kids. Her recommendations were spot on -- loved the cornbread salad. The manager stopped by our table to check in; very courteous. We've been back, without the kids, because the fare is so diverse. I particularly like their soup and salad choices. Their chicken salad with gouda cheese and champagne vinaigrette is my favorite. My friend goes for the angus burger. We've made it a regular! read more

No service. We sat down for almost 15 minutes and no one even acknowledged us. We weren't the only table to feel this way. I get that there was limited staff but there was absolutely no sense of urgency from the staff that were there. read more

I'm sad to report this place has gone way downhill. It used to have great food and a happy hour even on Saturdays that made the prices appealing. The dood is sub par, our wine was warm, the prices have gone up and it's certainly not worth it any more compared to decent food you can get near Pepsi for the same price. Too bad. I like supporting the students, but we won't be back. read more

Cafe style restaurant & bar in the edge of the Auraria campus complex. We frequented the restaurant several times over 4 days during a visit to Denver. The restaurant connects to the Spring Hill Suites courtyard and we "picked up" food & drinks and brought them to our hotel. Solid sandwich and salad menu. We had the graduate burger, the club, citrus salad, French fries, tater tots, and many double gin & tonics. Food was good and service was excellent. Highly recommend this for an affordable, quality meal. read more

I told the serve that I would pay for my whole table, just for them to split our check. Disappointed since it was a birthday and i didn't want anyone to pay. But the food made up for it read more

This is a very nice fresh menu with some very interesting fare. Try the home made ships and guacamole for only $5 or the grilled shrimp with chicharone( $9) , yum . The sandwiches are great cubano( pork) , angus burger , pork belly with pineapple and all come with side of fries, soup or salad( great farm to table greens) . A bit hidden if you are not staying at the Spring Hill Suites but worth the trip! read more

This drink has a real kick to it, but it doesn't overpower the mango flavor. It's a nice balance between sweet and spicy. David really knows how to make a drink read more

I have been a bartender in high volume restaurants for 13 years and have never experienced worse service. I attend school at MSU-Denver and had been frequenting degree in between classes. It used to be great, until it wasn't. Bartender took five minutes or longer to even greet me, was pretty quick about coming and getting my order, but took almost ten minutes to get me my beer, and it was in a can. When food was dropped off wasn't asked if I needed anything else, just walked away and never asked how it was. I promptly paid my tab and left only leaving a ten percent tip... which I NEVER do. I am understanding in most cases when a server/ bartender is busy and simply doesn't have the time available to do the little thing to ensure good service, but this was simply not the case. It wasn't busy, and you could tell he just didn't want to offer customer service. Even though that is what you are there to do. I have a feeling this is stemming from the last time we were in there with a group of people, which was even worse service. Drinks were wrong every time he brought them, even forgetting a few. We had to track him down to order food, and when we did he would only listen to one person, not ask anyone else if they wanted food, and just walk away. We still had three people who wanted to order. It was a challenge every time we wanted to order drinks, often times our drinks being empty for 10-15 minutes. We had been there for almost 4 hours and had 3 drinks each. When we went to order a fourth we were cut off because we "had to much." No one was acting out of sorts, and if you really were concerned about ordering too much you should have offered water and food which you are trained to do as a bartender. Simply said, I will not be back and will be sure to tell people it isn't worth their time. read more

We stopped in for drinks, and split the rib entree. Quick, friendly service and great food. The fig BBQ sauce was delicious. Table next to us had Brussels sprout appetizer that also looked divine. Five stars! read more

Just wow. The service was great, nice and very friendly. The open seating plan and bar seats to watch the chefs cook added to the unique and upscale atmosphere. The food is fantastic, and the dessert cake I had just melted in my mouth. No doubt I will be happy to come here again in the near future. read more

We came here and they were basically out of everything. Went through 4 entrees till we found something they weren't out of. Food came out and was subpar after all the hassle. I wouldn't recommend coming, but if you do, order the burger. read more
