We just stopped in on a fluke headed to the chiropractor( killing time). Bf ordered the Hawaiian omelete. A pineapple in every bite! He loved it. And my taster bite was great! Love their home fries with grilled onions. We showed up at 8:30-9 and then after 9 this place is FULL!! Lots of workers having a quick breakfast before work. But we noticed all young good looking girls in here as waitresses hehe. I chose the ham n chz omelete and yummy good. Ham in every bite as well. Good flavors and the coffee never empty! I think we will try to come back if we r passing thru. Plenty BT parking around back for our big truck too.

Husband had the country skillet #9 he said it was just ok. 1st time here this is a 1 and done for us. The place is cute and appeared clean - they love clocks! They need to season the food! I've been to my fair share of buffets and this was by far the worst one I've ever had. The…read moreselection of food was sparse and all of it was low quality flavourless mush. The potato soup was like chunky water. The macaroni noodles in the mac n' cheese were overcooked, same with the noodles in the beef and noodles. The vegetables tasted canned and soggy. The mashed potatoes were lumpy. The salad bar had very little toppings to choose from. The dessert was disappointing too; a very dry chocolate cake with not much flavour, topped with whipped cream. The cake crumbled as soon as my fork touched it and stuck to the roof of my mouth. Oh, and speaking of cutlery...my fiancés butter knife had a big splotch of old crusted food on it. Overall, the buffet at Ryan's Restaurant was not good and I would only recommend it to someone whose standards couldn't possibly get any lower. I would go as far to say that this buffet was worse than the Golden Corral buffet, which says a lot, because Golden Corral is bottom of the barrel food in terms of quality. The only decent thing about the buffet was the fried chicken, which still had no flavour but at least it was cooked well.

I chose the home fries which are probably the best I've ever had. They are thinly sliced so some are crunchy and some are soft, perfect. The sign on the door said that staff were taking precautions against COVID-19, however we did not see any staff outside the kitchen wearing masks or gloves, or see any closed tables. On entering, we waited by the 'please wait to be seated' sign for a couple of minutes before a smiling, young waitress took us to a table. The menu was surprisingly extensive; my daughters each ordered the chocolate chip pancake, while I got the Mexican Hat Dance with a coffee. However the waitress kept forgetting things, and had to come back twice to ask questions like what kind of cheese (pepperjack). Our orders were ready in what felt like a pretty average amount of time, considering there were only three other occupied tables in the restaurant. The food itself was good, but not great. The portions were decently sized, but not overly generous. Prices were good, but likewise not great. The service the decided ... average.
