Enjoyed my 1st time experience at Dee's laundromat. I was gifted a stuffed animal draft door protector aka "Bud" and I wanted to wash and dry him before I put him to work for the winter season. So I went to Dee's and the attendant advise me what size machines to put him into to wash and dry him properly. The laundromat was nice, clean, roomy, cozy and of course warm. So I found a corner and put in the machine and camped out for awhile. The machines accept credit cards and coins which is great. The process was so simple and easy and my stuffed draft stopper came out PERFECTLY CLEAN AND DRY. For my 1st time going to Dee's I truly recommend them. This was was nice and the staff was very helpful. Bud is thankful for the wonderful cleaning and treatment from Dee's. read more

I have been getting shirts laundered for over two decades. In the past six months, Dee's has destroyed more buttons, specifically collar buttons, than in the rest of my experience. The staff is very nice and incredibly helpful, but I will not chance being out of town on business and having a button descinegrate in my fingers again. read more

Best laundromat ever. Clean. Someone always there to answer questions, or sell detergent. Comfortable seating while you wait.

I've been so resistant to getting my clothes dry cleaned, but after having... too good of a night at a wedding, I desperately needed help getting red wine out of my dress. I also had a bridesmaid's dress that was incredibly dirty on the hem from dragging. Dee's did an amazing job getting my dresses to look like new! Highly recommend! read more

Been going to Dees for a few years now. It's worth the trip: clean shop and machines and friendly staff. Not the cheapest around, but I'm ok with paying a little more for the experience. The WiFi and family friendly tv (that's not blaring, thankfully) are a bonus. It would be great if they could move the smokers away from the entrance. TIP: get a frequent washer card! read more

I went there today after two attempts and was satisfied with the service in using the machines. My clothes were clean when finished. I thought the price was high at first and the dryer could be longer than five minutes for 25 cent, yet with two quarters they were dry. Overall I will be back again to wash. read more

Can't say enough good things about Dee's wash/dry/fold service - they do an amazing job and everything comes back beautifully folded. It's worth every penny and the cost is very reasonable. Staff are very friendly and efficient. The laundromat is huge, never very crowded and has a nice living room area for those who are waiting for loads to finish. read more

We needed to do laundry in a larger machine than ours at home and decided to try out those place. We were not disappointed by the other reviews. Dee's is totally worth the drive, and even better if you live close. This place just feels comfortable and welcoming. Ask about their bloyalty card so that for every wash you get a stamp or two depending on the washer size, and when it's filled up you get a free wash. They do not have an ATM here so come prepared with cash. They offer dry cleaning services and wash answer fold services as well. read more

Just FYI, their dry cleaning is not done onsite. This place came up when I was looking for next day dry cleaners in the area because i got home one Thursday night and need to clean some professional attire (blouses, a blazer) before leaving again early on Monday. But - credit to the person who answered the phone - quick and honest about what they could offer! But Yelp should not have this pop up in next day cleaners. read more

I think I'm in love. For the past year I have been going to what I thought was Hamden's only laundromat (the one across from Bed, Bath & Beyond and next to the car wash). But, wow, have I been missing out. Dee's is cleaner, cheaper and actually lets you wait out your laundry on actual furniture. That's right! Not the industrial benches designed to keep the homeless from sleeping on them, Dee's has sofas and chairs, and for you techy hipsters out there- wifi! It was actually cheaper to do my laundry there and I didn't leave feeling like I needed an aspirin and a shower. read more

Every other weekend, I drove from New Haven out to Dee's in Hamden to do my laundry, but it is just that nice! Always clean, with reliable free wifi, friendly staff, and generally HDTV or The Food Network on TV! They have a frequent washer card - after you wash a certain number of loads (I can't remember if it's 10 or 12), you get one free. You may have to ask for the punch card though; I didn't know about it for the first few months that I was going to Dee's. Even on busy days, I never had a problem getting the machines that I needed. Plus, Dee's also does dry cleaning, so on the rare occasion that I had dry cleaning, it was very convenient to do it at Dee's. read more

The wifi makes a day of laundry much easier. Staff is very friendly and helpful if some crisis should arise. Facility is clean and comfy with a couple sofas to relax in. Washers are expensive and you pay for drying too - but the environment makes it worth it. read more

Recently had to go to a neighboring store near Dees and they were undergoing the most chaotic and unorganized construction I've ever seen. They had dryers in the parkinglot, and all over the sidewalk. Not to mention the flatbed that was parked sideways taking up 7 spots (no exaggeration) once I get inside my destination, all I hear is banging, hampering and drilling. So rude to neighboring stores! (Who were continuously apologizing for the disruption. Which wasn't even their fault) have some consideration for your local businesses and don't take up the whole parkinglot with trucks and 10 dryers in the middle of the work day!! Rude! read more
