I have never experienced such fantastic customer service, and exceptional quality work in my life. Here is a little story that might highlight for you how amazing Michelle is: I went through 3-4 fittings with a seamstress I was friendly with, but she kept insisting I needed to wear a regular bra with straps for my expensive, nude color mesh +lace wedding gown. I picked it up Sunday night (6 days before the wedding), tried it on at home with a full length mirror, and as I moved around I realized the top did not fit at all. It was falling off, the area for the boobs was hanging, things were in strange places. I sent a picture to my sister and friend and they agreed it was not wear-able. When I contacted my seamstress she said she didn't know what she could do, aside from taking the whole thing apart, but there wasn't time for that. I didn't sleep all night and started making phone calls at 7 am to find a new seamstress. Keep in mind the dress is a sheer mesh, crepe fabric, and then covered in very tightly sewed on lace appliques. There is no "easy fix". By 8 am Michelle called me back, had me send her pictures of the issue and although she was swamped with other clients alterations, said she would fit me in at 8:30 for a consultation. I arrived, got into the dress, and she immediately pointed out the areas that required work, pulled out the bra cups the previous seamstress put in the wrong place, threw new ones in there, and pinned it up to fix everything. It was like a whole new dress. I literally almost cried. This is Monday. I came back Wednesday afternoon for a second fitting and it was almost done. She knit-picked and fussed over the tiniest details I would not have even noticed. Made sure it was perfect, and I will have my dress by Friday (tomorrow) at 12 pm. Talk about service. Aside from this, Michelle made sure I calmed down and understood that everything would be okay. She kept in contact via text everyday and I know spent hours on this dress. Needless to say, I finally slept last night and was able to focus on all the other details of the wedding. I know the dress is going to be PERFECT. Oh, to top it off her price was nothing compared to my original failing alterations. I could not believe it. Give Michelle a call and I'm sure she'd be happy to help you with any of your alteration needs. Also turns out she did wedding dresses, prom dresses, and mother of the bride dresses for half the people who work in my office. They even had her business card in their wallet and pulled it out as I was going on and on about this new seamstress named Michelle I had found :) I'll post my dress before and after photos after the wedding this weekend so you can see her amazing work.

The shop/studio itself is absolutely beautiful with a newly remodeled alteration section complete with immaculate herringbone floors that you can eat off of, a wet bar, and coffee/espresso. You go in feeling like the only person in the store. Pinning a gown doesn't take long, it's completely painless. The service itself is incredible. I walk in and they know me by name, the employees are very nice and accommodating. I've had 3 gowns tailored here to perfection and had a custom Italian suit (which they sell in the shop) tailored to perfection. When investing in a special gown, you should also invest in a perfect tailoring job. I brought the garment in 3 weeks in advance and was told it would be ready a week before departure. When I arrived on the appointed day, I was told it had not been done and was asked to return later that day. I could see that she was behind in her work and volunteered to wait until the following Monday, but explained that I needed the alterations by Thursday at the very latest.. I was told to return on Tuesday, When I did, the place was closed. There was a sign saying it would be closed until Thursday due to an" emergency." I returned on Thursday morning, and was now told it needed just a few minutes of work, but I should come back in the P.M. She would call the minute it was done. I left without complaint and waited for her call, which never came. I called her at 4 o"clock and was told it wasn't done and she had no intention of finishing it that day. When I reminded her of my trip the next day, she told me that she didn't care. After all these are"simply clothes. Give me a break. They're not priorities." She told me to come and get my unfinished garment and hung up the phone on me. I did just that . I took the garment and found someone who cared more about both her own work and my needs and altered it on the spot. I cannot believe how rude and unprofessional she was - especially to someone who had already offered to help her out and volunteered to wait until the last minute to ease her stress.
