I moved to the area within the last year and this is the only dry cleaner I've been to since living here. Over the course of my interactions with Spring Glen Cleaners and Alterations, I've utilized standard dry cleaning services, suit alterations, and most recently extreme stain removal on delicate garments. They have the widest array of dry cleaning services in the area! I came into Spring Glen Cleaners and Alterations about two weeks ago with a pile of dresses, blouses, and skirts that had accidentally gone through the dryer with a lipstick tube in one of the pockets. As you can imagine, at first glance we thought the clothes were completely ruined when we went to empty the dryer. Sue (the owner/manager), was very straightforward when I went in and showed her the stains on the clothes. She said it would be difficult, but they could try three of the garments, and depending on the success of those I could bring back the others. One week later, I was shocked to walk back in and have Sue happily report that the clothes were as good as new again. What a relief! I've had nothing but great interactions at this dry cleaner, and I've never been there when Sue isn't working--she is a very hard working person with a focus on exceptional customer-service. read more

The owner is very present and the care they took with my clothes was nothing short of excellent. I hesitantly gave them a few high priced item (gucci, Dior, Amiri). The BEST dry cleaners I have ever gone to. Hands down. They SAVED my wedding dress! I took a piece of my wedding dress to them in distress, after another cleaners, Rainbow cleaners ruined it - it was brand new satin, and the other dry cleaners shrunk it, put holes in it, and even left a stain on the front. Sue and Jeff at Spring Glen cleaners not only fixed the satin and made it look stunning, they did it over night because it was 2 days until my wedding. They also did a great job steaming my veil. Great dry cleaners. Had a cashmere sweater w stains all over the front of it. The stains had accumulated over years. When I got the sweater back it looked brand new. Not a single stain. I was shocked. Also got stains out of two ties. I gave them a shirt w embroidery all over and it came back clean and intact. Did a good job laundering dress shirts too. Very impressive. I like that it's organic. I mean is it really? Who knows.... But they have a bunch of signs up. Prices seem on par w average dry cleaners. Maybe $1.75 a shirt. I have only been to this place once, and I am not sure I will return. I wear a uniform to work and needed them to be pressed. (I HATE to iron) I brought in 1 pair of pants, and 5 shirts, which equalled out to $24.40. I thought this was outrageous in price. But I dropped them off anyways. I wasn't about to walk out, so I figured I would see what happend. My shirts came back OK, it seemed all they did was starch them and add a crease to the arms of the shirt. When I am told my garments are going to be available for pick up they are done, bagged and ready to go. the staff knows my name and very friendly to go above and beyond. I've had a good experience here: prices are decent for suits and shirts. I live locally: so it's easy for me to get to, which is certainly a factor here. The one time I had a minor issue - a seemingly lost shirt that was quickly found - I was given a discount and have been treated very well upon each visit. Kindness goes a long way! read more

Sue, the woman who runs Spring Glen, is really first class. I've had many things dry cleaned perfectly here with no issue. The most recent trip, one of my items wasn't ready when I went to pick it up. Frustrating, but understandable that it happens occasionally. I came back the next day and she let me know that she had run it through the wash again to clean it, because the sleeves were very dirty (which was true), so it still wasn't ready. When she saw that I was noticeably frustrated she offered to deliver the sweater directly to my home later that day. I came home to see the sweater on my porch, with a handwritten note, apologizing for the delay. She and her staff work really hard and overall they do an exceptional job. read more

Lost a new pair of pants on me. Lady insisted not her fault but mine. I dropped off my cloths when her pick up driver was having problems to get back to his base and a woman in front of me dropping off a lot. MY fault as I should have checked my slip going in and stuff picking up. The lady further insulted me by saying it was probably in my closet or car trunk! These were new 1st to be cleaned pants!! I will NOT be returning. I suggest you check your slip before you depart. They are also VERY pricy! !! read more

I have taken winter coats a few times to get cleaned and they have always done a superb job. I also have taken pants to get shortened, when I was pregnant. They did a great job on that too. I want to take a formal gown and casual shirt to get cleaned this week when I have the day off and I am sure they will do another good job. Not cheap cost-wise but affordable and worth it. read more

Spring Glen Dry Cleaners is a great place! When I entered the store, i was greeted with a smile. There only seems to be one worker there and I would assume she is the store owner. Props to her for being able to keep the business together and give great service! I had left a dress shirt there earlier that I needed for an upcoming meeting. When I came back for it, the stain was completely gone and the dress shirt looked as good as new! All in all, great service, friendly people (or person in this case) and an awesome business! I have used this cleaner twice. First time, a button up shirt had a stain on the front, that had to be dry cleaned, to get out. Picked up the shirt with the stain still visible. Was told "couldn't get out." Took the shirt to another dry cleaners and they somehow were able to remove the stain. Second time was six weeks ago. I brought my medium size rug to be cleaned. Each week after I was told to come back "next week" because it wasn't done. Two weeks ago, I was told "it is missing. I'll call you next week. If not found, I give you fifty dollar credit." No phone call. Walked in today to "still missing rug". I denied the $50.00 credit because I feel this was handled unprofessionally and do not trust my items here. The man at the counter tried to hand me a $10.00 bill. Denied the cash offer and walked out. Understand not every business is perfect and things happen but every business should know how to handle their mistakes in a professional manner with better communication. read more
