Then...you can finally use the washers. Then... when you get to the dryers, you use the card again. The first laundry machine took my money off the card but failed to turn on. The attendant fixed it. But then the beverage machine ate more of my money. I was so frustrated at that point, I didn't even ask for the money back. Now, I'm stuck with this stupid card with a $12 balance that I can only use... you got it... at this laundry mat. If this process wasn't so convoluted I might actually recommend this place.

The drop off prices are competitive with the surrounding East Rock Laundromats and they even do pick up and drop off service to New Haven and Hamden. Additionally, I quickly learned it was a convenient place for dry cleaning drop-off and pick-up; right off I-91 North exit 6, and back on I-91 South to where I was living in City Point. Dry cleaning isn't done on premises, but if you're ok with that they do a fine job. Whoever does the dry cleaning does well with the basics and clothes are clean and pressed inside plastic coverings until you get them. I never used the washers there, but the place seemed clean and pleasant overall.

I don't want to mention her by name but anyone who has the pleasure of going in to do their laundry will know her. She is the super friendly, extremely helpful and along with the new rockstar owner keep the laundromat looking immaculate. I have witnessed on many occasions her assisting an elderly person who might need extra assistance, picking up dryer sheets that someone threw down and didn't bother to throw in the trash and me many times when I so much laundry to carry she helped me out. She has also went above and beyond when I have had work calls and had to step out of the building and watched over my laundry and would let me know when it was finished. The washer and dryers always seem clean and I have never had any issues with them. There are two signs (maybe more) that explain the coin machine. As you may or may not know with the amount of volume this laundromat does they certainly can not have an endless supply of coins. If you have a credit card that is simple to use. I could go on and on but if you are in New Haven and need a great place in a safe area to do your laundry then look no future. BONUS - they also have a pick up and delivery service that is awesome!!!

So I went to Dee's and the attendant advise me what size machines to put him into to wash and dry him properly. The laundromat was nice, clean, roomy, cozy and of course warm. So I found a corner and put in the machine and camped out for awhile. The machines accept credit cards and coins which is great. The process was so simple and easy and my stuffed draft stopper came out PERFECTLY CLEAN AND DRY. For my 1st time going to Dee's I truly recommend them. This was was nice and the staff was very helpful. Bud is thankful for the wonderful cleaning and treatment from Dee's.

The people making you pay rip off prices to do laundry are too lazy and cheap to have staff present. One time I was using the dryer 15 minutes before closing time (which constantly changes to earlier hours) and the employee told me she wanted to go home and close. I still had 15 minutes before the place was supposed to close. The no bathrooms for customer is HUGE. No respect for the customers they are ripping off.

Nice, clean, quiet, very reasonably priced (the laundromats I was going to cost more. I'm back, baby!!! Only bone to pick and it's minor but could be a hazard: the stairs going in and out are a bit dicey to navigate for a senior or someone with navigation peoblems- thar could be improved somehow but it was always like this so I guess noone fell yet.
