I have been going here for a few months and have never had a bad experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful! One lady even remembered the last time that I had come with my son. The place is always clean! I went to another laundromat while they were closed for a week and it did not compare. It was further from my apartment and the one staff that was working was just ok. I have been a regular customer since the late 1990s. I've seen 3 different owners. The new owners are terrific. They care about their customers and take pride in their business. An attendant is always on staff when you may need some assistance. For me, a laundromat must have a clean working restroom, a place to wash my hands and clean up after myself if I spill bleach or laundry detergent, and hot water. I simply want to wash my clothes in an efficient amount of time. Best Yet is my first choice to do my laundry. read more

The way it was handled by the so called manager to me about an increase was without talking to the owner was less than professional. The new owner is a callus greed stricken entity. Beware ....I have been a good customer for two years ..because the laundry I bring in has two pieces that need pretreatment the Owner wants to raise the price from 12.00 a load to 32.00 load as a punishment....boot me out...& I supply the cleaning agents ...The manager is not a good one...not professional...so the complaints are from the no class low class lazy .. Except the red head. I was visiting the area and needed a Laundromat. Found this one on Google and can't say enough good things about it. Place was so clean, all machines work, comfortable waiting area, even the restroom was immaculate. It was by far the cleanest laundromat I have ever been in. I recently moved to the Wallingford area and unfortunately my place doesn't have a washer/dryer. I've done the laundromat experience before for extended periods, and wasn't too thrilled about having to spend a few hours on-site while a washer/dryer chew through my hard-earned quarters :-) It was this dilemma that prompted me to explore local wash/fold options and luckily I stumbled across Best Yet Launderette. They do full service wash, dry, and fold for a very reasonable $1 per pound. After a quick drop off, my clothes were ready the following afternoon. I look forward to continuing to utilize this service! On a side note, the owner was extremely pleasant and even remembered my name without having to check her paperwork. read more

I had my king sized down comforter cleaned here! Dropped it off and picked it up the next day. They did a great job.

It's a real shame. I liked this place. But on my last visit the main employee, who seems to be there every time I go, forced her opinion on me. "I can't stand that guy", she said, of Joe Biden on their too-loud tv. I tried to be polite: "Better than the alternative," I said. "I don't know ..." she replied, clearly disagreeing, and then, before I could say anything else, added "I don't like to talk politics." I tried to point out that politics have nothing to do with the utter amorality of "the alternative", and also that she was the one who opened that door, but she didn't want to hear it. I've gone back and forth on it - "cancel culture" isn't something I aim to uphold - but no: there is no chance in the world that I can continue to patronize a place staffed by someone who probably thinks the orange one is better than ... anyone. Their wash, dry, fold service is amazing. If I drop off my laundry in the morning, it is ready for me by the end of the day, in perfect condition. One day they even saved a button on one of my lab coats (their child sewed it back on for me). The price is also very reasonable; only $1 a pound. Checks or cash are only accepted for this service, which is fine by me. The owners greet me by name with a smile. I can not say enough wonderful things about this business. Best Yet is my favorite place in town to do laundry, I've been to them all this is definitely the cleanest! They are in a small plaza just past East Side Market. Carini's restaurant is next door and there is a bakery and a variety store there, among others so I can often get a few errands done at once The owners are a nice, friendly couple usually on hand during the day. They have a couple regular top load machines, several large and a few huge front loaders that can handle almost anything. I've never had to wait for dryers, there is a whole wall of them. They offer a wash and fold service but I've not used it. The whole place is clean, well kept and has free WiFi. In good weather I sit outside and enjoy the sun while my clothes spin. read more

Best Yet Launderette is such a peaceful, welcoming, and friendly environment. Jim and I were talking about plants for about a half hour one day. I know what you're thinking; what a typical machismo, man-to-man, room bursting with testosterone, conversation that must have been. Haha! Jim is awesome though, and so is his wife, Anna. They are such a great team and they make patrons feel comfortable. Their social skills are very acute. They don't force conversation or overwhelm people by talking too much. We recently moved to Wallingford for a travel nursing assignment at Yale; the nearby AirBNB that we rented didn't have a washer and dryer. I immediately began using the wash/dry/fold service offered here, and it's beyond reasonably priced! Mrs. Anna is the nicest and most pleasant person you'll ever meet. She always greets me with a smile and by first name. Actually, the entire family is a pleasure to interact with when dropping off and picking up. The facilities are always sparking clean and smells nice. As long as we are here, there is no other laundry service we'd even consider. I wish I could give them ten stars! read more

Great location, and prices. Parking is sweet and its located in a plaza with a bunch of different stores in it. U can get your hair cut at Mikes Barber shop right next door while your waiting on your clothes to dry. You can go over to Carini's and grab a nice italian meal...you can walk over to East Side Market and go shopping. Good thing i own a washer and dryer...lol. But when my dryer broke for a couple weeks, i went here and it was convenient. :o) read more
