I recently had two pairs of pants hemmed at this location, leaving explicit instructions to call me before the work was done, i clearly marked one pair at 25 inches from the crotch, both pairs were hemmed short.....again, now i have two pairs of pants i use for umpiring almost daily that do not fit, i highly recommend that this location not be used, they simply cannot follow instructions read more

The first time I went over there I brought 2 button down shirts and 2 pant suits they charged me almost $8 for my button down instead of $2. She said it's because it's a women's shirt and it doesn't fit on the mannequin. The next time I came in I brought 4 dress pant and a suit. The pants had a little bit of cat fur and the lady said instead of $7 it'll be $12 because they have to lint roll. In what world would I pay $5 more to lint roll when I can do it myself!!! I got extremely frustrated and told her never mind and went to a different dry cleaner. I will never go back I felt like they just wanted to up charge me. read more

I've taken 2 suits, some shirts, khakis, and a formal dress here for dry cleaning. They're efficient and prices are fair. 10% discount for first time customers. After that, you get a 10% discount if you pay upfront in cash. The girls who work there are nice. The clothes have come out clean, no issues. About a 4-day turnaround. Located in a little strip mall with plenty of parking right next to UPS so I time it with my Amazon returns. I did ask about tailoring but their tailor isn't on-site so you'd have to pin it yourself. 1, False advertising. They do not do alterations and tailoring. They send garments for HEMMING only IF you have pinned them yourself. Garments are sent to Milford store. 2. Grossly overcharged for "shawl." Cost 2 1/2 times as much for a chiffon, unlined sleeved overlayer as they did for lined shirt. 3, Storefront only. The young ladies are nice but they only know "policy." Would not recommend nor would I go there again read more

Extremely dissatisfied. Brought in an Anthropologie quilt and pillowcases to be drycleaned. After getting both the pillow cases and the quilt back, the cotton on the inside was completely balled up, when it should have been flat. It looks like it was just put in a washing machine instead of dry cleaned... funny for a dry cleaners, right? Brought all the ruined material back here (total cost of over $500) and the man working at the store said we needed to speak with the owner in the Milford location, so he gave her number to us, which we called and left a message. The owner, apparently got the message and had someone else call us, who said that they realized that they ruined the quilt and pillowcases but they were unwilling to accept responsibility for what they did. Bottom line: ruined my stuff, terrible, awful customer service, refused to accept responsibility. STAY AWAY from this business at all costs. read more

I have used Executive cleaners for over a year now. I drive from Cheshire for the price. You cannot beat the prepay shirt price! So, I had done a batch of shirts in early December and they came back with an odd smell. I returned them to the store and they redid all of them and they came back fine. I gave them 5 stars because of how they handled this situation and they are very nice to deal with! It is easy to give people a good grade when they do well in normal situations, but this was not and they handle it like a pro and kept my business!! read more

I started w Executive when I lived in Milford and was happily surprised when I moved to Hamden and found they had a location a mile from my house. My test of a good dry cleaners is that a white silk blouse comes back white and not dingy and gray. This place delivers. The prices seem high to me but I haven't shopped around because I'm willing to pay for the quality service and convenient location. Their prices for minor mending like hems are excessive in my opinion. Wish they were open on Sundays. read more

I brought a nice pair of pants to get cleaned, and while they were at Executive Cleaners, the zipper broke. I would know if I broke my zipper and I would own up to it. I called them up and they told me to bring it in to fix, so I did. They said they'd call when the pants were fixed and done. After 3 weeks, I called them, and the pants were ready. I picked up my pants and thanked them for correcting their error. When I went to put them on the next morning, there was a note on them saying they wouldn't fix the zipper, because they didn't break it. WTF?!?!?!!?! When I called, they could have told me that. When I picked up my pants, they could have told me that. Executive Cleaners made a mistake and had multiple opportunities to correct it. Not only did they not correct it, they compounded their error with more mistakes. My wife also told me they ruined a shirt of hers (but I don't have a cool story for that). read more

I picked up my wool blanket that had been dry cleaned and it looked the exact same way that it had when I dropped it off. They told me that's how it's supposed to be. Do not recommend. read more

2nd time I've been to the Hamden location. Once for dry cleaning that looked and smelled like it had never been cleaned and once to get my pants tailored. Brand new pants with tags still on them and the ticket specifically said to let the pants DOWN an inch. They took them up an inch and cut the fabric so they couldn't even be fixed. terrible experience both time. should have known a chain dry cleaner would only care about pumping out orders and not about the customer. zero stars. read more
