The photo ops wall in the Lincoln Park location!!
    Joya-Nicole C.

I looooove this place! It's just the cutest, dainty smoothie spot in Hyde Park and it's soooo delicious! I've been patronizing them since they opened and I've witnessed their growth, from the service to the menu -- they've done amazing! They have a the cutest little picture props and the ambiance gives "come in, relax, have a açaí bowl and just vibe!" I've also visited the downtown and Lincoln park locations, and while the açaí bowl was still as delicious and the atmosphere was welcoming -- there is still a different feel compared to the Hyde Park location. This location gives study session, quick link-up, WFH session, and so much more. The music is always amazing and it's always a chill crew! 100/10

This was my first time trying this smoothie and açaí place. If you order online you can get deals. Parking in Hyde park can be sparse but fortunately if you are just grabbing and going you can use the 15 min parking in front of the building. It's such a cute and sleek place. I just felt healthy walking in lol. My order was ready in under 10 min and I was able to make modifications to the smoothie picked out. I got the caramelized onion empanada and it was just OK. I probably should've gone with the spinach artichoke one. I can't wait to try different flavors

Usually fairly quiet in this place and there's a few tables to sit and eat at. The açaí bowl is absolutely delicious with so many toppings and reasonable price! Highly recommend coming here if you're craving açaí bowls!

I had my first ever acai here and was very impressed! I was wandering around looking for breakfast and decided to give this place a try. You essentially order blended frozen acai (like a smoothie) and have all these toppings you can add in for free (Chipotle-style). I got almond butter, coconut, chia seeds, goji berries, honey, bananas, strawberries, and cacao nibs. And wow it was delicious! The acai itself tasted like a pretty simple berry, but all the add-ins gave it a lot of body, creaminess, flavor, and crunch. I'm not much of a health food nut, but I would come back again just for the tasty flavor!

Delicious casual vegan meal. Had a short few hours in Chicago and came here for dinner. Wife and I…read moreeach got an appetizer-I got their buffalo drum sticks which were somehow gluten free and delicious. For my entree, I got the bimbibab or however you spell it, with tofu. Would have liked a meat alternative but other than those drumsticks, which are brought in frozen and premade and therefore, the "meat" cannot be used in an entree-only the tofu was gluten free. Although I mixed in tamari and sirahcha, this was delicious. The hot pit crisped the rice perfectly and the veggies and tofu were cooked really well. We also got their raw berry cheese cake and a scoop of soy vanilla ice cream for dessert. The crust of the cheesecake wasn't really good but everything else was excellent. Service was great with a lot of good suggestions and he was very friendly. The place isn't much to describe. Just a very casual interior with an Alice in wonderland motif. Cute, but not a place you come for the ambiance. You come for the food and service.

I do not care for the bbq sauce, it has a sharp bite at the end and no sweetness like bbq sauce. The Kung Pao Ding; for the sauce I was expecting a slightly tangy flavor with maybe a little heat but it was not that. The sauce feels sticky, thick, and the flavor is flat. The protein tasted over cooked to me. I also ordered a couple drinks that I've never tried before to test them out. The flavored water tastes like there's stevia in it, a weird after taste. The cardamom grape was not as sweet as I was hoping, and a very faint flavor. It's very possible I just chose the wrong items for my taste buds. But these were my first impressions on this order.

The food was amazing. We got the "frychos" which were like loaded fries and it was the probably one of the most flavorful and fun vegan dishes I've ever had. Ofc we also had to get the vegan deep dish and it was also really good. Since we were the only ones there we chatted quite a bit with the bartender and he was super friendly. We ended up putting a movie on the bar tv and watching that while we ate. They also had boardgames and free pinball and we played battleship while waiting for our pizza. If you have the chance to check this place out, you definitely should!! The bartender said they were usually busier because it's also a concert venue, but it was a nice day so we think people were going places they could eat outside. But quiet or hoppin this place would be an 11/10! :)

I got a beer, Maplewood IPA, and vegan nachos with "beef". They were very wet, they also had mixed greens on top which were nice but weird. For my main meal I got a fried chicken sandwich which had tempeh as the protein. It was very thick and dense but tasty. It came with French fries. My partner got a sour beer, and a chicken parm sandwich with French fries. He reported his was also very thick / dense.

Lincoln Ave., and between the menu and the name (yes, the elephant caught my attention), I knew I had to check it out. There's plenty of street parking in the area, I went on a Sunday, so meters were free. The interior is bright, green, and inviting, with lots of seating and great natural light coming in from the front windows. There's also outdoor seating, but it was a bit too cold the day we went, so we stayed inside. Service is counter-style, and the staff was very knowledgeable about the menu. It's fairly simple, but still fun and satisfying. I ordered an Impossible burger, tater tots, and a strawberry almond milk smoothie. My friend got fries, so I was able to try both. After over 40 days without fried food, I was especially excited for the tots and they did not disappoint. Overall, the food was good and solid across the board. Nothing that completely blew me away, but definitely satisfying. If you're vegan or vegetarian and craving a classic burger experience, this is a great option. The smoothie was good as well, though I personally prefer fruit-forward smoothies with lighter juices, so the almond milk base wasn't quite my favorite, but it still complemented the meal nicely. Overall, if you're looking for a casual sit-down spot with a cute atmosphere and a solid Impossible burger at a reasonable price, Elephant + Vine is a great choice. 3.5 out of 5 stars.
