We had our tank pumped and a new cap put on by this company last year around the fall. This year, almost a year to date, the tank needed to be pumped again. We went with a different company this year and we discovered why the tank filled up so fast. Instead of selling us a cap like a wine cork, we were sold a flat concrete cap. For a year now my tank has been filling with rain water because it's the wrong cap and doesn't cover the hole. It wasn't even new cap, we were told by the new company that it's at least 30 years old. We were also shown evidence of the previous owners still in the tank (lots and lots of tampons, my wife doesn't use them) so Deep Impact didn't pump the tank fully and still charged us $500. I went into Yelp & read the reviews & I'm glad I did a little research first before contacting a cesspool inspection company randomly. This business lives up to its 5 star rating!!! First, I called Courtney at 6pm on June 2nd, he was able to accommodate us & did the inspection on June 3rd at 1pm. Their price is very competitive. My family went through some back flow issues from our kitchen sink overnight. I tried pouring Draino to try to fix the problem on our own. After using the shower, bath water started pouring down below to our kitchen. No plumber close by could come and at least look at our problem this weekend. Not being a professional myself and not having the proper knowledge about pipes and drains I didn't know whether it was an issue of clogged pipes or was my septic tank beyond its limits. I called so many companies from plumbers and septic services. I finally took a chance and called Deep Impact they came less than 2 hours (Sunday @ 4:30pm). Daniel, Kris, and Courtney came and diagnosed the issue. Turns out that my septic tank is okay. They had to leave and come back to get some more tools for the job. Daniel and Courtney came back and brought in a mechanical snake and took a whole chunk of baby wipes that were flushed down the toilet. My husband now understands that these wipes are certainly not flushable nor safe for septic tanks. Terrible! Thank god for these guys and helped us fix the problem. I had used Deep Impact about 5 years ago and was very satisfied with their quality of work. Just recently I was in need of having my cesspool drained. I, of course, contacted Deep Impact again. They scheduled me for the next day and both Chris & Hector arrived on time. They inspected my cesspool and informed me that it did not need to be pumped out. They diagnosed the problem (the sewer line was blocked); and remedied the situation. Throughout the process both men were courteous, efficient and professional. Chris did not try to sell me any unnecessary services and even showed me how to correct a slight crack in one of my drain pipes. All in all, a very good experience. I'd like to update my review. I decided to have my cesspool replaced since I had the old block pools that are known to collapse. I have to say, Courtney and his team did a fantastic job at a very fair price. Not only that, they were NEAT, and cleaned up after. Fast forward about two weeks later, the dirt is starting to settle and creating a pretty big sink hole, which is normal, but mine seems to be sinking a little more than usual. I just spoke to Courtney and he will be coming by tomorrow with more dirt to make sure this gets corrected. This will make sure that not only my family is safe, but also my land will be level when its done settling. He is a man of his word and I appreciate that more than anything else.
