I had an emergency backup at my home. I contacted several places on a Friday night 9pm. After getting machines and a couple of non Knowledgeable call service personnel, I got a hold of Roe from Discount Cesapool and drain. We were in a state of panic not knowing what to do. She calmed our situation down gave us some Instruction and had her foreman " Dante" out to our home the next afternoon with a pump truck And tools. Within a few hrs. They fixed the clog and got most of the junk out of the trunk :) turned out our c-pool and solid waste box has not been pumped in a long while since we did not know where they were. Well after some searching with special metal detector and other cool gadgets they found the c-pool, they also advised us who to call to get copies of where items were placed on our home survey just to be sure. Well they were correct. After speaking to the Owner "Domenic" who was Extremely Knowledgable he advised us how to make this a bunch easier in the future to get our systems pumped to avoid this horror in the future. After agreeing on a price I was happy to see their quality of work at a Super Fair price. No hidden agenda just HONESTY. THANKYOU so Much for being fair and honest from beginning to end. You guys earned a customer. A plus service and equipment. They left the job nicer than when they started. read more

I was overdue for replacing my 1962 block cesspool. They serviced old cesspool and recommend that I replace it. They took care of everything. I thought it would take weeks or months to get the permits but they were ready immediately. But here is the important part. They went over every detail from what trees had to be removed and how much space they need to get into my yard with the equipment. Communication was beyond excellent and there were no surprises when the day came to install the system. Within 2 hours we were able to use the bathrooms and they didn't leave until the yard was leveled out. I would highly recommend them. read more

Dom and his crew are the best. Honest, professional, great service . Most of all they are reasonably priced.

They responded quickly to our call & came within an hour of speaking with someone in the office. The crew that came was not only knowledgeable but very professional. Everything was explained in a way we could understand. The crew was careful as they did the job. I highly recommend this company! read more

Had Sal from Discount Cesspool and Drain stop by for an issue we were having with our washing machine flushing back water into our basement. Sal was able to diagnose the issue quickly, and gave me a ton of great information I never had as a first time homeowner. Sal was very knowledgeable and was able to provide great insights and high quality work at a wonderful value. I'm glad I found them on Yelp to help fix our drain issue. Now I know where my cesspool is and a plan for how to treat it moving forward. After digging and uncovering the cesspool lid - he spent time burying the putting the grass back paying close attention to get it back to how it was. Looked untouched and appreciated that attention to detail. P.S. Dominick answers messages on Yelp almost immediately which makes the process 10x easier and less stressful. Thanks gentlemen. read more

Dom and Discount Cess and Drain are a class act, friendly and professional. And if you are reading this you want to know two things: 1. YES they do an incredible job and 2. YES they are priced better than EVERYONE ELSE ON YELP OFFERING THIS SERVICE. Sorry for the 'all caps yelling'. But i wanted to drive that point home after having some of the companies listed high up on the search list quoted me at astronomical amounts which felt like predatory pricing or maybe just gouging knowing that people were worried due to the size of the storm. Two companies who i wont mention by name were asking literally double. As a long time homeowner and an owner of two different small businesses that have been at four locations over the years, i have never seen prices that high. I feel bad for the people they suckered in. Well back to DISCOUNT CESSPOOL AND DRAIN... They couldnt have done a better job. I reached out to them and within 15 minutes my appointment was locked in. I called them on Friday and said 'We will be at your house Monday'. Then followed up through out the weekend to assure me everything was ok. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Which was reassuring and welcomed. Due to some health issues I could not do this job myself. And owning my own business means i cant miss a day. Not having to worry about the job getting done on time was more than a relief. I didn't even need to ask once when they would be there as i was updated through out the day. As for the work itself? PERFECT. Dominick as his crew were incredible. Driveway, walkway, mailbox even a spot for the garbage cans... all shoveled out. Front porch was shovels and swept clean like it was my living room. They were careful and considerate of the walkway stone and well as the Trex porch and steps. And finished everything off with an ample amount of salt leaving the driveway almost completely spotless by morning. I can not recommend this company enough. I will be using them and only them every snowfall. Save yourself the time and book them NOW. read more

If you have a cesspool and don't know anything about it or where it's located, the guys who work for Discount Cesspool will patiently guide you through the process! They are very responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, we couldn't find ours so they are coming back tomorrow with a camera. It's kind of like having a house colonoscopy. Dominick is so cute and what a personality!! He is a great supervisor! He's smart young sweet and very accommodating! He and his crew came back today which was a day earlier than scheduled. He found the septic tank and his crew dug it up and cleaned it. After the dirty work was done, he came in the house to explain the procedure and he wore his mask I highly recommend Discount Cesspools whenever you need your cesspool serviced (as every home owner should do!! ) This should should be mandatory before selling a house and the realtor should also tell their clients to have this done once every 2-5 years. Ours hadn't been serviced in over 10 years. :( read more

Update: The company has notified us that the individual was let go due to this incident and they said this is not representative of the rest of the company. We have been using Discount Cesspool & Drain Inc. for several years. The owner, Dom, mistakenly forwarded us their office notes, in which his employee/cousin, referred to me, an Indian, as a "dothead". I will post the screenshot to the photos on this page as well. I urge you guys not to use this business that enables such blatant racism. Clearly if these types of comments are made in their internal notes, the company culture has normalized and tolerated this. read more

My go to cesspool service...here's why!!! About ten years ago, I purchased a money pit house that was built around 1875. The plumbing was ancient, including the cesspool and drain pipe. I have been using Discount for maintenance from the start. I have always been extremely happy with their service. Recently, the cesspool and especially the drain pipe needed to be replaced. I confidently called Discount. I got a great price and they worked with my crazy schedule. On install day, the team worked so well in the pouring rain. Despite the weather, all the guys were so polite and moved with great haste. Before I knew it, the job was done in one morning! I have and I will continue to highly recommend Discount to anyone in need of any cesspool job. read more

Dominick, Kyle and the whole Discount Cesspool team have been extremely responsive with fixing the multiple issues we inherited upon moving into our new home and discovering multiple cesspool and drainage issues on our property. Highly recommend them as it is difficult to find both honest and knowledgeable service! read more

What a wonderful company!! You hope never to have to use them but when you learn that your property is imploding because it was built on an abandoned cesspool that is collapsing, you will feel lucky to stumble upon such kind and professional people. They stand behind their work and came back immediately to follow up on an issue. I tried to tip the workers but they actually refused to take my money!! Then they texted me later to make sure everything was satisfactory!!! Highly HIGHLY recommend!!! read more

Who wants to deal with a cesspool back up during a pandemic! Well I'll tell you, NOT me and not most cesspool companies, I will tell you. One single phone call to Discount and they showed up 2 hours later. The team was well equipped, enthusiastic and was genuinely concerned about my problem. They showed up with the latest in modern tools, pipe camera scopes and ground sensing radar to make sure my pipes were clear and to locate the cesspool in my back yard which I had lost track of based on a lot of construction. I've watched this done before "by hand" and its ugly and time consuming at best (and your back yard looks like a giant squirrel came over). Within a few 15 minutes of arrival there was an "X" in my back yard to mark the location of the cesspool cover. A short while later they came back with a tiny excavator that did not hurt my lawn at all, they dug up the cover, installed a long collar to bring up the cover to grade. After a big pump out, they aerated and treated the cesspool and I was back in business!!! At this point most companies get paid and are gone, Dominick, Nick and Sal all took the time to explain what I needed to do for the first few days and then proceeded to carefully put all the dirt back, grade it and then they CAME BACK the next day to cover the area with topsoil so my grass would grow back!! I've not seen this level of service in a long time, this TRULY a classic Long Island Family run business that should set an example for all. Thank you guys for bringing a little joy to my family during a really stressful time. 5 Stars++ read more

I had cesspool system that was over 50 years old with tree roots growing throughout the system that caused the mainline pipe to burst and eventually cause a sinkhole in my backyard. Sal came with his crew yesterday and collapsed the entire old cesspool system, installed a new septic system, as well as a drywell system for my washer in less than a day. The work crew was extremely respectful and accommodating throughout the entire process. I highly recommend them for any septic related projects as they provide high quality work and materials for a very convenient price. read more

First off, I would like to thank Domminick, for his upfront pricing and on time service. Both James and Jeffery called prior to coming, and showed up on time. We recommend calling them when you need service. They'll be our company, from now on. Thanks! read more

These guys are great! Quick, efficient, professional and courteous. They explained what was needed and did a great job.

Sal and his crew are amazing. Sal is the most responsive contractor I've ever worked with. He's reachable by phone/text/email and always helpful! I am grateful for his infinite patience when we were applying for permits to install a new septic system. Also, he really knows his stuff. He was the only one who told us we had to remove the deck to make space to install the new system. We had several installers come out to give us estimates, and no one mentioned anything about the deck being in the way. On the day of the installation, Sal coordinated the whole process and made it as seamless as possible. Lastly, his crew cleaned up, even swept up the street, where some dirt and rocks fell. I really appreciate their professionalism and consideration. Highly recommended for all your septic needs!! read more

Guy from this company stopped by to give me a quote. He was so hyped up and speeded up that I had a hard time understanding him.
