There were 3 jobs we needed done. A swap out on our kitchen faucet. It was installed completely wrong & the faucet didn't turn from right to left it turned from middle to back and it was not secured to the granite and was loose. Next we needed a pedestal sink removed and a small vanity installed in our bathroom. I bought a beautiful brand new $600 vanity that they broke! The initialin installation looked like a complete mess when the were done. Sloppy mess of a 2 inch space filled with uneven caulk. I didn't look professionally done at all. We asked them to come back and correct the problems. For 3 hours he worked on fixing the caulk but there was lots drilling & cursing etc and when my dad went in to check what was going on the plumber was watching YOUTUBE plumbing video I'm assuming to try to figure out how to fix the vanity. At 1st glance it looked like the vanity was in correctly but then that night I noticed that the drawers were no longer sitting straight. Upon further inspection he BROKE one of the vanity drawers and caulked it back together and it isn't even connected to the vanity. So now we will need to completely replace this brand new vanity and pay someone else to properly install it. Third we had a water heater leak that we wanted corrected and they told us on our heater it couldn't be repaired which we understood BUT they made the leak 5x worse that it had been when they arrived. In addition to the issues with the sub par work these guys also say in their vans outside my house for extended periods of time, playing on their phones, one of them for a solid hour and charged us for that time. This can be seen in the video footage on my ring app. When we called they let us know someone would be out to fix the errors and we asked to have different plumbers sent. They sent the same guy. I cannot tell you how much I regret using this company. Sav On did not supply us a competent worker. I cannot stress enough how incompetent the worker was. We are shocked that an insured company is refusing to cover the damages. Refusing any sort of refund. Do NOT use this company under any circumstances.

The usual plumber for the house arrived, but let us know that he did not handle this sort of situation. So I called Clear River. Bryan came on time and did a terrific, efficient, clean job. He quickly analyzed the cause of the blockage and gave us helpful advice. Thank you, Bryan. I was confused because only 3 people live in our home and it's been less than a year since we had the tank serviced. Their website says they recommend having the tank serviced every 2-3 years (we don't have a garbage disposal in the kitchen sink). I asked my mom about the quality of the service when the technician came. She said that the technician only drained ***some*** of the liquid sewage. There was no poking or agitating done to lift any of the harder sewage. The technician left some liquid and my mom asked why he wasn't draining everything. The technician said it's not necessary. Anyways, we called to see if anything could be done but all they offered was having someone come out again and being charged $646 again even though it's been less than a year. We called another company who sent detailed steps of what will be done to clean the septic tank. It includes agitating the contents in the tank, which sounds way more thorough than the simple pumping some of the liquid sewage that ClearRiver Environmental did. Don't waste your money with this company and hire one that does thorough work and doesn't try to keep charging you for their shoddy work. Also the account is under my mom's name, so if they comment saying they don't have record of my name in the system, that's why. They have my mom's name.

We're…read moreplanning on selling our house in Patchogue, and realized we hadn't serviced our cesspool the entire time I've owned the house, over 10 years (I know, I know, bad homeowner!). Plus we had just had a small sinkhole open up in our backyard which we thought might be related. So we asked our neighbors who had had some work done in the last year or so, and they highly recommended ClearRiver Environmental. The only negative, I would say, was that the scheduling was a little vague. They said "We might be able to fit you in sometime this weekend. We'll call you later with a two-hour window, and then give you another call when the crew is 30min away." No call ever came, so I placed another call to follow up later in the week. They were able to give a definite date and time window during that call, so we were all good. Brian and Hector came at the scheduled time. They were polite, knowledgeable, and got right to work. We had an unusual problem which took some time to get to the bottom of, but they were diligent in their investigation and wouldn't leave until they'd gotten to the bottom of it. Our heads were spinning a little with the possibility of having to replace our whole system to the tune of a few thousand dollars, but it turned out that all we needed was a patch where the pre-fab cesspool had ruptured. They couldn't do the job right then and there, which was understandable because they weren't really equipped for that service, but got us all scheduled for an estimate on the spot. The very reasonable fee they charged for coming out and diagnosing the problem is going to come off of the cost of the patch job, so it was basically a free visit, which is extremely generous. THEN, later the very same day, our cesspool started overflowing. We got right back on the phone with them. Paula helped us schedule an emergency visit for the very next day. John came out, even though it was Father's Day, and it was his first as a new father :). And just like Brian and Hector, he was extremely polite, professional, and wouldn't leave until the problem was solved. We again found that the solution was simpler than the dreaded full system replacement, and this time, they didn't charge us at all. Extremely generous. Great company. Great people. 10/10 can't recommend enough.
