Replace the first floor baseboard with high output baseboard. Peter measured the job up and returned with Christian another day to complete the work. I admit I was impressed with the concern that was paid to how each peice was installed. A level and tape measure was used on each peice of baseboard to insure that when completed the entire run was the same height and on the same plain. Each cover was trimmed if needed so it fit together properly. When they were done they cleaned up after themselves and even helped me put my things back, which they didn't have to do. I could say I'm happy with the work they did and leave it there. The truth is I'm really impressed with the work did, it came out more beautiful than I hoped. They showed more attention to detail than they had to, and the price was very competitive. Its been 7 years and Pete is still doing really prideful work. He did an amazing job and replaced these leaky bendable type pipes that have been there since I bought my condo with copper ones. He soldered like a champ. Technician showed up as promised, I was given an estimate of $999. Not knowing how involved the process would be I then gave the go ahead. Technician pulled the toilet and ran the snake/auger for less than an hour.!!!!!!!! He had to come back the following day as the kitchen sink was still clogged (his mistake) this was another half hour. I understand business cost and overhead, BUT this still came out to an hourly rate of about $600... Friends and family who had similar work done by other companies told me I was ripped off big time. Needless to say, I will NEVER use Roto-Rooter again and would strongly recommend others look towards a smaller, local company for more reasonable pricing. These guys are scam artist.
