Also, the cold water stopped working in my shower, making the shower unusable. Would highly recommend this company. I called and was able to get a plumber out to me within a day. They did a quote for me on a project to move the washer/dryer and create a new laundry room. In addition they fixed a few issues with our master bath shower head/handle and toilet. The company was really great, they sent me a bio and photo of the person who would be coming (which I appreciated for safety and professionalism), and the man who came was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He also had some great suggestions and input on the project and location in the house, in terms of what's best to save money and simplify all the moving parts--which I really appreciated. I called this morning for a repair on the water line coming from my hot water heater. THe scheduler, Hayley was pleasant and quite helpful. appointment was set for same day 2-4pm. the plumber, Jerry arrived a bit after 2, we went to see the problem, he explained the price, I ok'd, and he started the work - replacing a section of pipe and the joint between 2 water lines. My sub pump in my basement stopped working, I. Sled 1-tom plumber. I understand they charge for coming out, I don't have a problem with that, but he came in the house didn't even bother to touched anything. Or even open the cover and test the sub and automatically told me the pump is shot and I need a new one, mind you this pump is brand spanking new only one year old. I have two houses The second house is a rental house and the heat and hot water was out for my tenants and I work in the city. They were able to get somebody out there right away and assess the problem. Really great service! Great people to work with and Jeff, who installed our new water, is such a lovely young man, very professional and really did a great job. Responsive and professional with fair pricing. Rich came as promised and solved my plumbing problem in a short amount of time.

My main sewer line backed up, once again. Anthony came out within an hour of me calling. He was professional and courteous. He snaked the line and then sent a camera into the pipe to show me what is causing the backup. He said that the roots from my tree on the lawn were growing into the line causing the pipe to become blocked. I asked about reaming the pipe and unfortunately because it's Orangeburg it will collapse if I try to ream it. He suggested replacing the sewer line from house to street. I'm having them come to give me an estimate this week along with a few others. Although they're a little more pricey than the past few guys that I had come and snake the line, I definitely recommend using them. read more

What a great company! My water district advised me I had a leak somewhere because of excessive water usage. 1-Tom Plumbing responded immediately and identified the source of the leak. It was my lawn sprinkler system. They turned off the sprinklers to stop the leak until my sprinkler company can address the problem. Best of all, they waived the fee for coming out to investigate.
