This review is in addition to a review I wrote about a different job Platinum Plumbing did for me…read more After 7 years or so I once again called on Platinum Plumbing for a project. Replace the first floor baseboard with high output baseboard. Peter measured the job up and returned with Christian another day to complete the work. I admit I was impressed with the concern that was paid to how each peice was installed. A level and tape measure was used on each peice of baseboard to insure that when completed the entire run was the same height and on the same plain. Each cover was trimmed if needed so it fit together properly. When they were done they cleaned up after themselves and even helped me put my things back, which they didn't have to do. I could say I'm happy with the work they did and leave it there. The truth is I'm really impressed with the work did, it came out more beautiful than I hoped. They showed more attention to detail than they had to, and the price was very competitive. Its been 7 years and Pete is still doing really prideful work. I highly recommend you give this company a chance to work at your home or business. Im certain you're going to be impressed with the end result. Henry.

Companies like Plumbwell seem to be in the business of up selling and price gouging. Needless to say, we will not be calling them ever again. The only positive thing about this company would be the secretaries who answer the phones. Quite lovely people.

This review is 1.5 months late because I wanted to be sure that the repairs made by Felip at GME Plumbing held up after he completed the plumbing work. I took pictures and sent them to Felip and he provided a reasonable estimate which included parts and labor, so we hired him. Felip and his helper did excellent work, left the place clean, and took away the rubbish. We paid the price in his estimate; there were no surprise extra charges. He 1) Repaired a leaking shower, replaced seat of valve with a special tool. Two previous plumbers only changed the washers and the leaks never stopped. 2) Replaced washing machine valves located behind shower wall. 3) Removed an old leaky toilet and replaced it with a new toilet. It's been over a month since the repairs were completed and there have been no leaks. The water bill is 40% less because of the repairs Felip made. We are very happy with Felip's work and will definitely use him again should we have further plumbing issues.

I was told before they left that having them come back to address the remaining finish work would cost an additional $375. After already paying $1,630 for the repair, I'm disappointed that the installation was left this way. Update: I wanted to further update my review. After I reported that the tub spout wasn't sitting properly against the wall, the original technician came back and fixed it at no additional charge. It only took a few minutes, and everything is now working properly. The tub spout stays secure, and the shower operates as it should. My home became infested with phorid (drain) flies due to standing sewage in my crawlspace that Roto Rooter missed! *See pictures. I paid hundreds for an exterminator and then thousands more for an independent plumber to fix their mistake. Roto Rooter is a SCAM company. They have poorly trained staff and will take advantage of any home owner. I was left paying for thousands in extra damages, not to mention time and stress. I have evidence that shows Roto-Rooter's negligence and theft of services. DO NOT TRUST THESE "GOOD REVIEWS" THEY ARE PAID FOR AND GENERATED ARTIFICIALLY!

We hired them to open up the first floor of our Cape Cod, and they completely helped me re-imagine the space taking down several walls to create a true open-concept layout. Along the way they installed new hardwood floors across the entire first floor, redid our shower, replaced both toilets, moved our washer and dryer, and prepped all the groundwork for our kitchen renovation. The craftsmanship throughout was outstanding. The part that really earned our trust is they delivered on what they promised AND THEN SOME! They finished within the estimate they quoted, and they were remarkably fast and efficient without ever cutting corners. Glen and his crew went above and beyond at every turn. I would not hire CIC again if they were the last contractor on earth…read more They got so many things wrong, and did so many things poorly, it is impossible to list. They refused to take ownership to fix their mistakes, and usually blamed their subcontractors (who they supervised) or, on occasion, us, for project delays, poor workmanship and other disfunction. CICs cycle of incompetence caused our project to take 5-6 times longer than their estimate, and we still had to pay other contractors to finish the work CIC screwed up or never even finished. In addition to the incompetence and disorganization we saw, we experienced a level of disrespect that is usually reserved for jailhouses. Caleb was condescending, mean and an overall just a bad person. He wanted to squeeze more money out of us and intentionally delayed our project for months while I pregnant. Caleb made it very hard for us not to despise everyone at CIC by the time our project was over. Buyer beware.

5 Stars! If I could give more, I would. 1-Tom-Plumber's answering service routed our urgent request for help to the boss, who located an available plumber on their staff, and Dave responded to our call (which was made on a Sunday night) like a Super Hero! Our issue was not one to be easily resolved, so we knew the purpose of the initial visit was going to be an analysis of the situation and to propose a solution. He explained that there would be an "emergency call fee", which was reasonable and which we approved. Dave was at our door within the hour. He was prompt, polite, and professional. He was able to explain everything clearly, and provided an immediate estimate which we approved. This allowed for his immediate return the following morning to get the ball rolling. (Because we booked the job, his boss was kind enough to allow a waiver of the "emergency" fee.) Dave spent the entire day at our home today, working alone in the basement to measure, cut and run plenty of new pipe. We still must address the clean-up from the original problem, and Dave highly recommended United Water Restoration Group, providing a pamphlet of what services they offered. I made the call, said "Dave sent me!", and their rep was here before an hour had passed! We accepted his estimate, and they will arrive tomorrow to begin the clean-up process. The plumbing job is DONE. It definitely was not an easy task, but the estimate was more than reasonable for what had to be done, and Dave was just the man to do the work! He is also PET FRIENDLY, and interacted happily with our big, boisterous dog, Kali She loved him, and you know what they say about animals... they know whom to trust! We have requested to have Dave return to perform additional necessary plumbing tasks on this old house, which was built in 1934. That appointment is still to be set-up, but one step at a time. We trust 1-Tom-Plumber -- and Dave!! -- with our home plumbing needs! read more

It was a very tight space to work at and has to crawl in, instead, he has improvised and found an easier way to do it avoiding further cutting into the wall. To make it more complicated, the main water meter was far away from the house and one has to drive to the next block behind our house in order to turn it off. We have forgiven he was 3 hours late in the first appointment due to unexpected problem from the job before us and have to reschedule. Mike the owner and Joe the scheduler are also great.
