Replace the first floor baseboard with high output baseboard. Peter measured the job up and returned with Christian another day to complete the work. I admit I was impressed with the concern that was paid to how each peice was installed. A level and tape measure was used on each peice of baseboard to insure that when completed the entire run was the same height and on the same plain. Each cover was trimmed if needed so it fit together properly. When they were done they cleaned up after themselves and even helped me put my things back, which they didn't have to do. I could say I'm happy with the work they did and leave it there. The truth is I'm really impressed with the work did, it came out more beautiful than I hoped. They showed more attention to detail than they had to, and the price was very competitive. Its been 7 years and Pete is still doing really prideful work. I have had an extremely negative experience with Boilers R Us in many aspects…read more 1) Called up and spoke to Charlie because our oil burner was chugging, he was helpful and nice and we set up a service visit for Saturday and he said he would call after 2PM on Friday to set up an appointment. He never called. I called back on Saturday morning and he said to call back at 9:30AM. I called back, was told at 11AM that the window was between 1 and 2 PM. This time went by and the guy without any call or followup showed up at 3:30PM, 1.5 hours after the appointment. 2) Paul showed up and was very friendly but he didn't have the right fuel nozzle. He attempted to get the unit running and then declared that the entire boiler was clogged and that was why it was running so poorly. When he left, I had no heat even though when he came, I did have heat, it just wasn't running well. This was on Saturday at 5PM and he said I would have no heat until they came back on Monday. I asked if there was any way to come back tomorrow (Sunday) to complete the service and I was told to talk to Charlie. I spoke to Charlie and he said he would personally come out if it came to that. 3) It's Sunday morning and I called Charlie, he said at 9am to call back at 10:30. I called back and he said no-one one and not himself are available to come out so it has to wait until Sunday and this was a $300 service that was very complicated because I have a special Italian boiler that is complex (it's not) so this a 6 hour one person job or a 3 hour 2 person job. So just to recap, I had heat, they came, I paid $200 for service, I had no heat, and they wanted to leave me like this for 2 days while I have an 18 month old at home. I called Lewisy and they came out. Within 30 mins, the boiler was running perfectly! I had heat and everything was correct now. Amazingly, the boiler is not clogged, this was a scam. Anyone, please avoid this business at all costs, they do not know what they are doing!

I have been using his plumbing services for some time now, about 4 years. He ended up snaking the pipes in the basement. He charged me around $375. He packed up quickly and left. I noticed dripping underneath the sink and assumed the pipes needed to be tightened. I called him back within 8 minutes so that he could check on the drip and he said nope I'm already headed to another job. Before he left to be thorough, he should have checked the pipe for a leak, which is the same pipe that is hooked up to the slop sink. So I scheduled another appointment. He came today, looked underneath the sink; there was no leak, nor a drip and he still charged me:$162.94. Where is the decency in that? It was still part of the last job. I like to pay people for their services but it was a real jerk move. No good customer service for repeat business. I plan on doing another job for thousands of dollars, but now with someone else. He just lost a loyal customer. Maybe I'm a novice in how things work. I've had a business and always issued courtesy. I'm not asking for a handout, but don't hustle long paying upstanding citizens. Maybe it's because I'm of a different ethnicity and gender...just maybe...but who knows. Most people are not honest with their internal bias and troubled integrity. He legitimized his greed. $50, maybe $80 but definitely not $162.94.

I was told the cost included his time, the van, the gas, the ipad, etc. Spoke with PP Plumbing, got straight talk, quickly, and a much better estimate on the phone Tech came, told me it made no sense to have 2 filters on my system, removed the busted one, inspected the good one, put it all back together for $200. Guy (Scotty) talked me through the whole thing, candid and clear. A+++ 5 stars for PP Plumbing out of Lindenhurst!
