Their technicians do great work though this company had a severe lack of communication and they sent me to collections. I will break it down. 11/2024 the came and replaced a transformer on a buzzing heating unit of which I paid $150 for them to come and evaluate earlier. No bill was issue and I was asked to call the office. The same day they confirmed this fee would be applied to the invoice via phone. An invoice was never received so I figured there was no bill. The transformer is $100 online. I contracted with them to do further work for roughly $2,300. Bill was paid the same day. 3/2025 they issued a bill for $430 for 15 minutes of work. Ok but they did not remove the $150 evaluation fee they charge to just come out though they said they would. I responded immediately to the email asking why it took so long for them to invoice and to remove the $150 as the office promised. No response was received. 4/2025 they sent me to collections for this bill. The company is unprofessional in their communication and I would not recommend them though they did decent work. All they had to do was email back or call regarding the invoice. read more

Since this is an important decision, I'm going to spend more time on this than a restaurant review. I had a Fujitsu mini-split heat pump system installed and 3 heads to replace in-wall air conditioners. Pre-Agreement: 3/5: Ryan came to my house promptly after inquiring and gave me the basics. He took some photos and measurements . I received a quote about a day later. I never saw anything showing that calculations were done to size the unit properly. Perhaps his experience can answer that question quickly but be aware. For a while, there was a good amount of conversation with questions and answers. About a week later, I stopped by their office at Ryan's request and looked at their system. I had some questions that never got answered. For example, I was looking to see if they sold models that were more SEER efficient. I told them multiple times that I wanted to be able to control the system with my phone, but they did not quote me the units that had the WIFI module built in, nor did they order me the Wi-Fi units. I still don't' have them as of this writing. Preparation & Scheduling: 2/5: I called their office about 2 weeks after I first made contact, I committed, and Let Sue know what date I wanted. I was specific because I was trying to schedule enough time between two business trips to get everything done. About a week before the date, their office called me and confirmed the wrong date. This caused me a delay and made it more difficult to get the follow up items done on my side (Painting etc.) They did try to correct this and split the install over 2 days. They were really no help at all at organizing rebates. They should have someone in the office organizing this for their customers. They didn't seem to have a good understanding on the rebates from the electric company and tax credits. They recommended two people: Keith did the construction, spackling and siding repair and was priced right and a good worker. Sean was their recommended electrician who was totally overpriced. He basically had to run a cable about 40 feet in the unfurnished part of my basement and pop a hole outside to mount the box. He charged $950 for an hour of work. Installation: 5/5: Installation took two days. The team arrived on time and worked hard. I didn't even see them take a lunch. They were neat and organized. You could tell they knew what they were doing and had a plan. I received a basic orientation on how to use the system. Post Installation & Follow-Up: 2/5: There was no follow up call to see how the system was working or to give me an update on the WIFI adapters which they told me were back ordered. Operation: 4/5 - After about a month, the system is working very well. It's cooling my space. It is whisper quiet. Often, I cannot even hear it at all. It's annoying not having the ability to set schedules because I don't have the Wi-Fi module. Service: Unknown yet. I have not had an issue. I never received a formal service agreement. They just told me rather informally that it's 5 years labor. They are an elite Fujitsu dealer so it's 12 years warranty on the parts. Value: 3/5: The system that they quoted me was for a SEER rating between 18.2 - 20.0 for cooling and 8.3-9.2 for heating. I would have spent more money for a more efficient system, but I could not get them to engage. Overall: 4/5: The system is running well and a great install. If they ever call me about the Wi-Fi adapter perhaps I'll adjust the rating. The company is promising but could use some improvements: When I visited their office, I saw they had the book Raving Fans by Ken Blanchard. A fine book that is a guide to wowing customers by giving them what they need and more. The company should aspire further to its tenants by ensuring they are wowing customers at the end of a job like the book prescribes. SPECIAL NOTE: The owner of the company called me after reading my review concerned with the original 3 star rating. We had a good conversation and he took some of my feedback constructively. This is a great sign that the company is serious about the feedback from the customers. I have made some adjustments to this review to reflect that conversation and added a star to the review. Ryan Anthony installed my boiler 9 years ago. From day 1, I never liked how LOUD the boiler was upon igniting and running. Currently my boiler was making loud banging/exploding noises upon ignition. We immediately shut off the heat and called Ryan Anthony Plumbing and Heating. They came 2 days later. At first upon looking at the boiler off, the technician said there was nothing wrong with the igniter and gas value. He told us to turn on the boiler and lo and behold, the loud banging occurred and almost hurt the technician. Hence, the circuit board, igniter and value were broken. I paid $1500 for this repair. The job was completed. A short while later we called Ryan Anthony back because we are hearing loud bangs once again from the boiler. They requested that we send them an email describing the problem...okay? We followed their request. We requested a safety check of the boiler system, after the repair. 2 days later a technician shows up at my door. There was no discussion that this was a paid visit. They just repaired it a shirt while earlier, so I would assume this was a "make sure it's right" call. We allowed the technician to look at the boiler and he said that nothing was wrong with it, he told us it could be because of the windy conditions . I did not expect to pay for this visit due to my concern of the repair. We simply wanted a safety check. The technician said, "TIME IS MONEY" and I have to charge you $149.99 plus tax for the visit." I was NOT happy at all because they were just at my house and they sold and serviced this boiler unit. It's not like I called him months later. It's all good. Enjoy that $149.99 plus tax. read more

It's been about a year and change since I've moved into this house and about a year after I first started working with Ryan Anthony's team. Since then, I've had to reach out to them a couple of times. The first major issue was when he HVAC was making a ton of noise. Knowing of my families situation, they were able to send someone out the next day. The Second issue was when I tried to winterize one of my pipes that runs to the spigot outside. I broke the valve and the water was draining out quickly. They sent over one of the supervisors within an hr. They even referred me to a fence guy when I reached out to them about fences. Onto what happened 4 days ago. After stupidly thinking that we should enjoy the cool morning weather, I turned the AC off. It was nice for about 3 hours and the sun started heating things up. I turned the AC on and heard a small screeching sound along with a very long spraying sound. The HVAC system shut down right away, the compressor stopped and I immediately grabbed my phone and called the team. Good news, they were able to get someone over within two or three hours. Bad news, compressor was shot and needed replacing. They gave me what I felt was a really reasonable quote, they confirmed the price and a date in an email and we were good to go. They had me booked for sometime next week but was lucky enough to be fit into their schedule today (3 days from email confirmation), which is fantastic. The two guys got here around 9 AM, did a quick once over and got to work. They finished everything around 1, cut them a check and now we have AC again. I cannot stress how hard it is to find a team like this where everyone is extremely good at their job, very friendly and everything is reasonably priced. My only hope is that, when I move back to NYC, they'll come out to me whenever I need a big job done. Call them for anything and everything folks. That's what I do! read more

Joe came out, tested everything, cleaned the sensor and waited patiently for everything to come up to speed. Last week upon having an issue with heat in our basement we called for service. We were told someone would be at our home between 11am and 3pm Friday 11/3. We made sure we were home and available. At after 4pm when no one showed up we called and were told someone was coming. The repairman got to my home approximately 5:30 pm. He looked and advised that there was a switch that needed to be replaced to resolve the issue. He replaced the switch and charged us $487. On Tuesday 11/7 we called back because the issue was not resolved. The same repairman back came to my house approximately 6:50 pm and now advised that the thermostat needed to be replaced. He replaced the thermostat and charged another $487. He was not even at my house for 20 minutes and was done. Absolutely absurd to charge another $487 for a thermostat after paying that amount just 3 days earlier for the switch that was supposed to fix the problem the first time. He never advised the cost before replacing it or gave us an option to go purchase our own thermostat. We were completely ripped off by him. Prior to this very bad experience we were happy with all prior services your company provided us which is why we called you in the first place. Now after this experience and the absolutely terrible feeling of being raked over the coals we will think twice before making the same mistake again. read more

Had these guys last year for a service call, 180.00 just to walk on property then added some coolant to my ductless unit, add another 80.00. was advised might have a leak somewhere, "see what happens after the summer" advised we should get a tune up every spring. OK so called this spring and got a quote of 70.00 per unit for spring check up. tech got here found we were low on coolant again and said "definite leak so we should come back and address that, " I won't put the coolant in since we have to fill it to check for leaks" also no charge for today, we will add in todays service charge towards the repair, next thing I know cold air is coming out of air handler, I walked out to see why and in his hand was the coolant bottle hooked up to the unit. I said " I thought you were coming back to do that and fix it. he says " I will talk to the office about it and came back in with a bill for 368.00 then said " we will need to come back with 2 men at 179.00 an hour to take the air handlers off and add a die to coolant to check for leaks. would run about 600.00! Well totally disgusted, we decided to get a second opinion. this time a very nice man came and said " you never take those air handlers off, why didn't they check the fittings outside" of course how would we know that. well to make a short story long :) he fixed it from outside and put more coolant in, everything works fine and the total bill was 150.00 !!!!!! so now there are 2 businesses I will never use again, the one that installed it and the one that ripped us off once and wanted to do it again. I had my burner serviced on 1/13/2021 I was having a problem with a fire in the boiler after the burner shut off, I solved this problem myself the pump was leaking due to a bad seal. I replace the pump and the fire stopped. But every time the burner went on it would shut off and on, off and on and caused the relay to chatter. I brushed that boiler just three days before this problem started. When the repair man came he said the relay box was bad and replaced it but the problem continued. Next he said that I installed the wrong pump which was bull crap. I did maintenance for many years and repaired that boiler many times. Then he told me that the motor was no good more bull crap, to cut a long story short he said he'd have to rebuild the burner after all the parts were replaced the problem was still there. Finally, he looked inside the boiler and it was loaded with soot. So the problem was every time the burner kicked on the back pressure would shut it down and so the burner kept going on and off. Once the boiler was swept the problem was solved. So all the rebuilding was unnecessary. I'm out a thousand dollars. Its easy to swap parts but to pin point and trouble shoot is another thing again. Also, he took the motor with him because he new I would have bench tested it, there was nothing wrong with that motor or pump! read more
