My husband tried multiple time to speak the staff member BARBARA in a calm and reasonable manner to which she continued to degrade him and us and even suggest that he stepped on her foot on purpose, she screamed YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE. Mind you she was in our space, coming closely on many occasions to yell and scream at us that we were too loud. We were doing the same as every other guest. Singing and having fun. Eventually it got so bad that I decided to leave with my husband fearing what she would do next. DO NOT attend a concert or show here if you intend to have fun or sing to your favorite artists. Attended a show there in the summer and while the show was great, the venue is in horrendous shape and they don't care. First, they claim to be ADA compliant. That's pretty much a lie. They're wheelchair accessible, *IF* they remember to open the door that leads to the elevator, and ALSO to unlock the door that leads to the venue, HOWEVER, they very often forget one or both of those, but also, they do NOT have an accessible restroom!! Saloon, down the hall, allows use of their accessible restroom, *IF* they're open, but they have cut their hours, and were not open during the aforementioned show. No warning, just no ADA-compliant restroom. This is BAD. I have emailed the venue FOUR TIMES and have been completely ignored. So here we are. A place that used to be quirky but cool, is now just a little craphole that sometimes manages to book good talent. I would definitely advise my friends who produce shows to find elsewhere. Communication is important. So is accessibility. They do NOT care. I was going to be nice and give 2 stars, but you know what? With their willingness to refuse to talk about/include accessibility, they can take their one star and shove it.

The entire upstairs space was packed wall-to-wall with unique vendors, each with their own creative flair. Some vendors had cool, personalized buttons and stickers, others had trays of handmade jewelry, others had plenty of vintage clothing (steep for vintage- but still fun to browse) and of course, crates of classic vinyl. What really stood out was the energy- every vendor was welcoming and clearly into what they were selling. It didn't feel like a typical market- this was more like a laid-back, artsy community hangout. The food is your standard bar/pub options with an Irish twist (beef Guinness stew, shepherd pie), and come in various shades of fried battered gold. We went with the basket of fries, which I loved - perfect wedge shape, nice crispiness - though the Brussel sprouts were so doused in sauce that I couldn't discern any other flavor. There's a front bar area and a back with live music. Overall, it's a dive bar fit for any number of occasions but, if you're coming by car on Fri-Sat, highly recommend coming early so you can find a spot in this neighborhood. There are some parking lots on Grove as well as metered options further down Elm.
