A change in my work has me on the road (often) and in the Dedham area which means I'm making more pitstops to fill up my gas guzzling whip. I have a soccer mom car without soccer or children fitting anywhere into my life. Dedham Exxon (signed as Dedham Gas & Service) has become my go to in the area. Gas is reasonable and in line or lower than everywhere else in these parts but the gentleman who consistently mans the full service pumps is beyond friendly. He's singlehandedly turned a few of my shitty days upside down by being a smiling face and always telling me to "Have a good day, my dear!" A block off Dedham center, it's also really convenient for anyone motoring through the Dedham/Norwood/Walpole areas up and down Washington Street. This spot also offers MA state inspections (presumably from the same smiley everyman who rocks the pumps!) Just know, no PLUS option here- it's Regular and Supreme only. read more

I have just moved back to Dedham after living for 12 years in New Jersey. I brought my car into them for my MA vehicle inspection and to switch out my NJ plates for my new MA plates. I suffer from the long term effects of a badly broken shoulder and am a recent widow, so it was great to find such a great service station that also offers full service gas pumping. But I have always been a car enthusiast and have not just fallen off the turnip truck! So - even though I don't have the strength to do the work, I know what work is required. A great experience getting my MA car inspection and putting new plates on. Plus, by paying cash (instead of credit), their cost per gallon is equivalent to what I have been paying at self-service stations. I have always driven Audi A-4 Quattro/Turbos that need premium gas to keep the engine under warranty, so Dedham Exxon was a great find for me! read more

I've been getting my cars serviced there for 15 years now, and they have always been great. There have been times when I've gone in thinking I'd need major repairs and they'd find it was a small issue they could take care of for free. I can't say enough good things about the work they do. Dedham Gas & Service is the only Full Serve gas station in Dedham (that I can think of......), and definitely one of the least busy and cheapest. If you need gas and are anywhere relatively close to Dedham Square this is the station to fill up at. It's one of the few in Dedham that isn't on Providence Highway and constantly has friendly, individualized service. Even though it would be a GREAT move, Dedham hasn't yet created a law about full serve gas stations (something other places like Weymouth & Milford have....), and therefore this is the only one in Dedham. I guess sometimes I prefer pumping my own gas (long car rides.....), but normally, why do it yourself when someone else could do it for you. Plus, it creates jobs in the world, which I think is a big plus. Anyway, this station also does state inspections and some auto work (or they will bring it to Bridge St Auto, which it seems they are affiliated with....). Prices are reasonable and never too high priced, and the station isn't ever too busy and always easy in and easy out. I will definitely be returning in the future throughout my many visits to nearby Dedham. 5 stars. read more

Hard to get too excited about a gas station, but these guys are about as good as you can expect. They are pleasant and courteous; always a smile and friendly 'hello'. Joe, the main attendant, seems to know just about everyone; he could run for mayor of Dedham! They also perform Massachusetts state inspection; again friendly, quick and accommodating. This place is great. I work in the area and I found this place when I need an oil change. Great service, friendly attitude, and trust worthy. I brought my car in when I heard a noise, ended up being nothing and they didn't charge me. I will never go anywhere else! If you're in the area definitely check this place out! read more

First off: the correct name is Dedham Gas, not Dedham Exxon. Wish I could give them 6 stars. They are honest, conscientious, super friendly, and do great work on my cars. I called in late on a Friday afternoon to see if they did inspections as my sticker expires this month. Even though the garage was closing in 30 minutes, they said they could take me if came right away. They were very nice and straight forward. I will go again next year when I need an inspection sticker. read more
