They have a warranty but they don't/won't honor it and will find a way to invalidate your claim. While that's a major disappointment, I guess it is completely normal way of doing business now. The shoes were a gift in December, started to be worn in January, and, by May, were coming apart from the sole and the heel. While it's their prerogative to evaluate the shoes under the terms of the warranty, what's insulting is that their official denial says that the shoes coming apart is completely A-OK and they aren't covering a replacement. It's WILD to me, as a consumer, that a replacement wasn't an option, nor was a discount on a future pair (I was looking for ANY kind of decent remuneration) so I guess what is left is to tell and warn others in the hope that someday someone will consider what best-in-class companies look like so they can aspire to that instead of just hoping people like me just go away.

The staff have always been very friendly and eager to help whenever I'm ask. I always love stopping by to see if I'm missing anything at our house here right after I stop at Lilly's! I decided to wait nearby for a few minutes before looking for another employee, and during that time I noticed she began yelling at another employee. I then processed to get help from someone else, after spending about five minutes walking around the store trying to find someone to assist me, I decided to returned and ask Samantha again for help with an iPad. She rolled her eyes, did not acknowledge me, and reluctantly proceeded to grab the item from the back. At that point, I decided not to purchase the item, which was valued at over $700, because of the poor customer service experience. This type of behavior is unacceptable, especially from someone in a management position. Customers and employees should be treated with professionalism and respect. I would rather drive to a different Target location and spend my money elsewhere than return to this store. Very disappointed with the customer service at this location.

This shop is truly for every body and every budget, which honestly feels refreshing. You'll find a thoughtful mix of vintage and secondhand pieces, locally made ceramics, jewelry, and other treasures that make it very hard to leave empty-handed (I tried, I failed). And yes, they've got great stuff for men too. Andi, the owner, has curated a space that feels intentional and community-rooted and does an amazing job working closely with local artists and giving them a platform. You can really feel that care throughout the shop, especially if you've ever stopped by during the Old Town Goleta Community Walk. Alyssa is also an absolute gem. Warm, helpful, and happy to let you browse without hovering. The vibe is relaxed, friendly, and very "take your time, you belong here." Logistics matter, so let's talk parking. There's a free city lot on the corner of Hollister Ave and Pine Ave, plus street parking if you're feeling lucky. No excuses. If you love supporting local makers, vintage, and secondhand shopping and want a shop that actually walks the walk when it comes to inclusivity, Lazy Eye Shop is doing it right.

They offer *surf boards, *SUPs, *boogey boards, leashes, wax, *wetsuit, swim gear, towels, clothes, hats, sunglasses, and beach gear. They *rent out gear. Also what sets them apart from typical surf shops is that they offer lessons (all ages) and summer camps for kids. The shop is clean, modern, well stocked and organized. The staff were helpful. Plus I happen to see the kiddos summer camp surf lessons at Santa Claus beach. My son had skateboarded up, I commented that he should not ride it in the shop (obviously) but was excited because there was one in the doorway. The man kinda laughed and said yeah, tha would be a bad idea. The woman looked like she was going to have a kinipshin. Overall, just super unfriendly. We were clearly not the people she wanted in her shop. Not sure who she does since they had kids beach toys and other stuff prominently displayed, and advertised a kids surf camps. But I will definitly not be signing my kids up for that one.
