They have a warranty but they don't/won't honor it and will find a way to invalidate your claim. While that's a major disappointment, I guess it is completely normal way of doing business now. The shoes were a gift in December, started to be worn in January, and, by May, were coming apart from the sole and the heel. While it's their prerogative to evaluate the shoes under the terms of the warranty, what's insulting is that their official denial says that the shoes coming apart is completely A-OK and they aren't covering a replacement. It's WILD to me, as a consumer, that a replacement wasn't an option, nor was a discount on a future pair (I was looking for ANY kind of decent remuneration) so I guess what is left is to tell and warn others in the hope that someday someone will consider what best-in-class companies look like so they can aspire to that instead of just hoping people like me just go away.

While this location is getting a beating in reviews, my shopping experience yesterday was fine…read more Sure, there was a long line, but I consider that standard for Ross. Sure, some shelves had low stock, though that's a common issue during the holidays, which is only exacerbated by this year's Covid-induced supply chain problems. My only expectation was to find some gift-worthy goodies, and that expectation was met. I picked up a jug of moonshine-inspired hot sauce for under $10, a fun gag gift for $5.99, a large jar of mixed peppercorns for $3.99, and another present--won't name it because the recipient might read this!--for under a fiver. The candle selection was mostly picked clean so I didn't choose one, but there were still some left. Plenty of clothing and home goods too. The store was also quite organized. Pictures indicate that sometimes things get out of hand, however both times I've visited this location it has been pretty well kept. Check-out was smooth, with a very friendly employee, and I left in under 30 minutes. Pretty good for holiday shopping on December 22nd.

Yesterday I came into the store and asked a question about shorts that didn't have a price tag. I asked if she could tell me the price she said no go find something similar and use that price. That made absolutely no sense to me so I said So I can just go find something similar and that's the price regardless if it's higher or lower than this item. After I walked away minutes later she came back and then try to assist me properly. Maybe she was having a bad day. Today I walk in the store right after they open and I guess they're having a team huddle. Right at the doorway. I had a return and I wanted to know if I needed to do the return first or if I could do the return when I purchased the other item. As I started to ask my question the lady whom I assume was the manager interrupted me and said if you have a return you can go over there. I said okay but I have a question. She said if you're returning something you can go over there and do the return so I said that's not my question. Finally I asked my question and she gave me the appropriate answer. Don't stand in front of the store where people are walking in and not expect to be interrupted. If you want to hold a team huddle or whatever it was do that in a place where you can't be interrupted not in the entrance of the store. Oh I forgot to mention the same lady that didn't want to help me on the first day was the lady to check me out on the first day and she seems as if she doesn't want to be here or maybe she just isn't a very social person. Either way it's not a good look for the store. Shout out to the lady in the dressing room though she was very kind very nice and I saw her again this morning and she smiled and say good morning and the same bright attitude. I did appreciate her level of service. Okay so I just checked out with Carolina and oh my gosh she was also amazing So I don't know what to say two amazing people and two people that were absolutely not amazing. And the lady that helped me yesterday that was rude told me to check out with Carolina and when she spoke to me didn't even make eye contact. I can't.

This shop is truly for every body and every budget, which honestly feels refreshing. You'll find a thoughtful mix of vintage and secondhand pieces, locally made ceramics, jewelry, and other treasures that make it very hard to leave empty-handed (I tried, I failed). And yes, they've got great stuff for men too. Andi, the owner, has curated a space that feels intentional and community-rooted and does an amazing job working closely with local artists and giving them a platform. You can really feel that care throughout the shop, especially if you've ever stopped by during the Old Town Goleta Community Walk. Alyssa is also an absolute gem. Warm, helpful, and happy to let you browse without hovering. The vibe is relaxed, friendly, and very "take your time, you belong here." Logistics matter, so let's talk parking. There's a free city lot on the corner of Hollister Ave and Pine Ave, plus street parking if you're feeling lucky. No excuses. If you love supporting local makers, vintage, and secondhand shopping and want a shop that actually walks the walk when it comes to inclusivity, Lazy Eye Shop is doing it right.

Walked in, and found a comfy and classic pair of shoes, and now looking forward to trying on some of their men's fashions, and perusing through their assorted gift items. Thanks Danica for introducing us to all this little shop has to offer. Located right next door to Old Town Coffee. Which is perfect, coffee and fun fashions.

They offer *surf boards, *SUPs, *boogey boards, leashes, wax, *wetsuit, swim gear, towels, clothes, hats, sunglasses, and beach gear. They *rent out gear. Also what sets them apart from typical surf shops is that they offer lessons (all ages) and summer camps for kids. The shop is clean, modern, well stocked and organized. The staff were helpful. Plus I happen to see the kiddos summer camp surf lessons at Santa Claus beach. I was impressed with the organization and leadership to handle the gaggle of surfing kiddos and teach 'em a thing or two .

We always hope the experience will be different, and we've purchased items from the store many times over the years. Unfortunately, the staff has consistently come across as unfriendly and unwelcoming. As a customer, it's hard not to wonder if we're being treated differently, and that feeling is disappointing. Whether that's the case or not, we've never felt welcomed here despite being loyal customers. It's sad that after so many visits, the experience has never improved. Based on our repeated experiences over the years, I can't recommend this shop. Zero stars.
