With a line of people behind me, I searched and searched while the window agent just stared, utterly indifferent. It struck me how absurd it was to spend my money at an establishment so unwilling to offer a simple courtesy drink while I fumbled for change. They preferred to inconvenience waiting customers and let me grow frustrated over a measly $0.25 rather than say, "Ma'am, as a courtesy, we'll offer you a small cup of water this time." I spend $50.00 to $70.00 here most weeks. Yet they couldn't offer a small courtesy water. I asked for my money back, deciding I no longer wanted to support them. The manager walked up and snarkily responded, "Do you THINK we're just going to GIVE YOU WATER?" His tone was particularly nasty. THIS ESTABLISHMENT WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER DIME FROM ME. EVER. It's appalling how some restaurants in Mississippi treat people so poorly. I'm amazed they stay in business. I was a drive thru team member at Chick-fil-A when I was in college, so my expectations are extremely high because I know it's possible to be accurate, friendly and fast. For the first time in a long time I didn't hate my drive thru experience.
