She offered a couple of recommendations that we wouldn't have chosen on our own, and I'm so glad we trusted her. It was one of the best French toast preparations I've ever had -- perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. My sister had a house-made lemonade that was equally refreshing and flavorful. In total, we ordered six beverages and two full meals, and I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable the final bill was for the quality and quantity. Although Seagull Method Café doesn't seem to be featured on every "must-try" list, it absolutely should be. When we left, there was a line wrapped around the building, which tells me the locals are in on the secret. Our server also mentioned they have a sister restaurant called POMME Eatery, which we didn't have time to visit -- but based on this meal, I wouldn't hesitate to check it out next time. The waitress responded, "It doesn't make sense to me either," yet the charge was still not removed. So ultimately, I paid €4.50 for one piece of soggy bacon in tomato juice. I highlighted and attached the menu because transparency matters, especially for visitors unfamiliar with local practices. Unfortunately, this felt like a clear tourist upcharge, which was disappointing given my initial excitement to support the establishment.
