The whole bar has had a glow up over time but the patio is now really striking. I love this place for happy hour cuz they offer free "bar snacks" (chips, nuts, Girkins) to go with your drinks. I've always had great service, friendly bartenders at least during happy hour. Great vibes overall, solid parking lot , definitely a favorite spot !

They have happy hour specials as well, and the bartenders are consistently friendly and accommodating -- if you want them to suggest a cocktail they will. Different nights will give you different results, just depending on the event or DJ involved. I've had some really great times dancing here and then other times when it was so crowded I couldn't move a step so there was kind of no point in being there. Maybe just try it out on different nights of the week and also pay attention to the happy hour times and prices to get great deals on fun drinks when it's not so crowded.

A number of my favorite foods are only on the Happy Hour (3 to 6) menu including Mac & Cheese, Nachos and a perfectly crisped Cheese Crisp like nothing in town. It's even better when you get it straight from the source. What I love: An expanded selection of small-batch beers you won't find anywhere else. There were like 3 IPAs I'd never heard of before. They even had a lager made with pickles! (not my thing, but it has fans). You can also tell right away this spot is great for large groups, and the patio is like 50 feet long--probably amazing in better weather What I like: You can't go wrong with the food, either. I'm a big fan of the southwestern egg rolls (a better rendition of them than a certain chain restaurant). The sandwiches are decent. Nothing really sticks out as a signature item, and nothing is made with a particular beer pairing in mind, but I'll forgive them--it's solid food. When it cools down a bit, I'll certainly return here to try more lesser-known beers and a snack. The location is a little out of the way, but you won't regret going a couple miles outside of downtown for this.

The oyster shooter with Bloody Mary mix also delicious! The fish sandwich was just okay. I added cheese which helped immensely. I wanted a side salad instead of the fries, but it was a $4 up charge which I thought was crazy! The monsoon spicy margarita was good. The plain margarita not so much. Server was great! I forgot which night it was now since we stayed in DT Tucson for Tour de Tucson from Thursday to Sunday. Oh, Actually I think it was a Saturday night because I remember wanting to go somewhere that had TVs that would show the Vegas F1 race. We got a table without reservation and they didn't have anything F1 on TV.. so we started just watching from our phone but then I noticed one of the main TVs above the bar started showing F1.. Now, I don't know if the servers of Elliott's were that observant and awesome or, they were already planning to show it once the race started... I choose to believe that our server was so awesome that she noticed we were watching F1 race on our tiny phone and put it on TV for us!! Honestly, just for that, 5 stars in my book. What also is a bonus is how good their food is. Sometimes you get nervous going to a local bar because food is not always good...though the people who run it and the place might be fun. However, you get all of the above at Elliott's. We ordered some mussels (cooked to perfection, not overcooked at all), pear salad, pineapple cider (delish), fish tacos, and steak. Everything was pleasantly yummy and the star was the mussels, which I did not expect to taste this fresh and delish, talking about setting low expectations and be pleasantly surprised! Overall, highly recommend. It did get darker and lots more busy and loud as we finished dinner and the Vegas F1 race finished. Def the place to bring people and friends to hang out and enjoy good food!

This restaurant has jazz every Sunday afternoon from 2-5p.m. Absolutely incredible musicians and singer! The crowd was festively dressed and happy and truly enjoying this music. We got shareable appetizers, the burnt end nachos with brisket and fried buffalo cauliflower florets with ranch dressing. Both delicious!! I had the Old Forester 1920 whiskey- 1 Oz and that was plenty! The bartender served us water as well as we had sat up at bar. The was professional and quite efficient. Before we left, I asked bartender what I could get to bring home for my dog- thinking he would laugh at me, but he told me he does same for his dog and that he eats better than him. We laughed when I said "same!" He suggested the tacos and would separate out the pulled pork from the onions, cotija cheese and jalapeños- and did! Kai loved that I brought her home "tacos!"Thank you for a great afternoon, Brother John's!!

The move to counter service completely changed the vibe of this restaurant, and not for the better…read more Service used to be the biggest highlight, and now it feels like you're paying the same prices for a much lower level of attention. As someone who frequented this restaurant for the last few years, I had a firsthand look at how things were run, and in my experience management operated very unprofessionally. It ultimately pushed me to stop supporting this business, and based on those experiences, I can no longer recommend it. There are far better BBQ options out there. From what I personally witnessed, the owner, David, was consistently disrespectful toward employees and created a company culture that I don't believe deserves support. Also important to note that there is something up with the drains/ sewer system in this building and about once a week the entire dining room smells like a sewer leak.. gross

There might not be a better place in town to discover something new! What I like: Retail in the back--you can buy bottles to take home. Draft wine. What needs work: They have draft cocktails, and while they're boozy I don't think they're very good. Most of them are too sugary.
