Came here on a Thursday and was surprised how empty and bare the shelves were. I didn't find anything I needed or liked unfortunately. The prices were okay. On par with like a Ross and cheaper than a target. The selection like I mentioned was pretty limited due to it being relatively empty the shelves. It's set up similarly to a Ross if you've ever been. This was the first time in a DDs and I knew exactly where to go because of the similarities. They sell pretty much everything from household items to bathroom, clothing, furniture, handbags, book bags, cleaning supplies and more. Didn't really interact with anyone. The few workers (maybe like 5 of them) were busy with a customer, folding clothes, or on the phone. They did smile if I smiled. So that's a plus I guess. The overall rating of about 3 stars is maybe a little more flattering than what it is imo. It's a 2 star place. Perfect for things for children or for items that you need to last for a few months. Didn't feel like I would find anything that will work well far beyond that. read more

Not my favorite DD's discount store because it's usually messy in here and barely has anything that interests me. Customer service is decent. It's near Dollar Tree & Fam Bam. Only pro is there's plenty of parking spaces. There are some homeless & druggies that hangs around here; so please be vigilant. read more

I really love this store! I always find all kinds of beautiful things here! Such as clothes, decorations, household items, picture frames, wall hangings, shoes, furniture, pet supplies and even food! And the think I love is that all products are new and of good brands and good material and at a low price! I love Dd's Discounts so much! The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because I got hired to work here one time and they didn't train me and immediately put me as a cashier not having any experience and I didn't like that. But besides from that, this store is awesome! I highly recommend customers to come shop here! read more

Because of the way this store is set up and the way the merchandise is displayed it feels like a Burlington Coat Factory minus the coats and on a smaller scale. They carry men, women and children clothing, shoes, accessories: handbags, jewelry, cosmetic items, some kitchen things, rugs, baby clothes, toys, luggage, small electronic section, bedding items, bathroom items and some odds and ends. I was looking for makeup brushes and I found several sets to choose from. The store was a little messy but it was busy. The register people were efficient and friendly. You are greeted when you enter the store and they thank you for shopping with them. read more

One thing I will say about this place is that they need to retrain change the customer service policy, cuz the employees are so RUDE!!!!! DDs you guys really need to talk to them about not yelling "NEXT" when they haven't even token they money or even handed it over yet...and it's ever location, every employee, and every customer!!!! 3 stars But this doesn't mean this place awful. When I came there the customer service was great. They just don't have that much product here. Probably means they run low on shipment or stuff gets sold out fast. The store is a little messy but that's probably because it looks short staffed. And this one customer had her kids running all around the store making a huge mess without telling them anything. I came here looking for cheap scrubs. They only have women scrubs though. But their prices fleshed I looked through them were pretty good. This is the very first time I ever stepped into a DDs store. It honestly reminds me of a Ross or a TJMaxx. If you don't know what dd's Discounts is, it's pretty much a step or two below Ross. I didn't know what dd's was until a few years ago when I came across one up in Norcal. They sell clothing, shoes, purses, toys, houseware for super cheap. The quality isn't the best but it's stuff that's not supposed to last you a long time just for immediate needs.The purse brands they carry are Juicy Couture, Betsey Johnson, pretty much the brands that were popular in the early 2000s. I popped in over the weekend and this place was a mess! The shoes section was so messy and all their inventory was on the floor there was literally nowhere to move my cart. It's not a place I would come often but it's not bad if you need some basic stuff for super cheap. Beware though! It gets defensive in there! read more

Prices are right and that's the main reason why I come here. So DD's is just like a Ross and it's kind of set up that way. The quality of the items here are a little questionable but you get what you pay for. If you have kids this may be a good spot for you. read more

I have a love-hate relationship with this location because they do have cuter styles than at the City Heights one but it's just so ratchet like noone has any home training. Kids are using that place like a gymnasium and parents just let them run wild screaming at the top of their lungs instead of putting their kids in their place. I know the area since growing up in it but I moved from the area many years ago. Thought the area would have improved. I guess tf not. I don't like this store, the only reason why I went is because my niece were visiting and they love it. I've been at this store like 4 times because of my nieces but honestly I haven't seen anything really interesting or even found what I need it at the time, the store is always messy and the customer service is not really good. So disappointed in this location...I bought a romper 3 weeks ago full price, lost the receipt and wanted to just exchange it for a smaller size or something else but was told all they could offer me in .49 cents in credit???? So within 3 weeks of a full price romper went from $15 to 49 cents? I mean I know I lost by losing my receipt but that's ridiculous. First time at ANY DD's. Found out they are the sister store to Ross. Lady at the front was so funny and the guard was awesome. The clothes is so cheap here. I came to find a Long sleeve t-shirt real quick and I can't believe it was only $8. Saw the same shirt at Burlington for $14. Wow what savings!!! read more

The store is great for what it is. I love the customers. Dorothy is truly a gem. Beyond that the security guard with the ponytail needs serious mental help and I feel incredibly unsafe with him in there. He does nothing. A woman was screaming at the top of her lungs and this cool still did nothing I ran and said I'm calling the police. GO HELP HER. There's human fever all over the floor. Half their products don't work. The manager allows her uneducated ridiculous employers to yell at you. They all should be in a FACTORY not allowed to speak. Dorothy should be running that show. I give this place four out of five stars for providing brand name scrubs for super cheap. Only draw back is I can't find complete sets that fit me. But I've picked up koi, NRG, and jockey scrub tops for under $10 a piece. Then I just order the matching pants on Amazon when needed. Major savings happen here. read more

The store is fun to shop at, they have some good stuff at reasonable prices. However I'm really considering going back there. I've been 4 times recently and 2 out of the 4 times customer service was absolutely horrible. Especially today's visit. "Asst. Manager Jose" (no name tag) was insinuating items I brought back weren't on my receipt... they were. Then he told us he was "giving us a suggestion", if we wanted time to go faster to take the items off the hangers which I already did! There was one children's set that was connected to the hanger that he rip off tags and all. Also walked away and left us standing in the middle of our transaction because he didn't trust his employee was capable of doing what he sent her to do. Another cashier told him she had done it already and he still continued to leave. There was a long line waiting but he showed zero concern. Jose had way to much of a power trip and no customer service skills... no idea how he became even an assistant manager??? The security guy that's usually there is awesome! Terrible customer service! Laura made it worse by being disrespectful and was not careful with the stuff i was purchasing. I was with my mom and she literally grabbed the bags from my moms hand without even asking her, we told her we were going buy them and to give them back . We were not finish with our purchase and she told the next person in line to come forward while we were still in front of the register . I am not coming back to the store. read more

This store was very clean and organized. I came in an stayed about an hour shopping. They have great deals and nice items to match. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the one careless employee at the fitting rooms. I can tell she hates her job and didn't seem interested in helping me. I don't expect much when I come here but they have nice stuff once in a while. I've found a nice rug and curtains here for way less then what I was planning to pay elsewhere. I dont look at the clothes since the clothes are not my style and seem a bit tacky. But the home department is nice, they have some nice electronic accessories, even TV wall mounts. Weird cool spotty collection so you can get lucky. I found my living room drapes and rods here, plus drinking glasses and some household odds n ends for CHEAP! But don't expect to find a set of six (or even four) window treatments that match. Maybe two. But it is FuN to snoop the shelves and see what's to be had. Worth a short drive. read more

Jus went to dd's fashion to return a shower head I purchased last night that was broke. I get there no box and at a loss for the receipt. UGH I am sure everyone has had that happen at least once. Well I had been checked out by the manager the evening before and we had a brief conversation, so upon returning I found him in the store and told him my situation. He remembered me and graciously said this one time he would allow an exchange since I was buying a better quality. Once at the register a very nice young man named Drake helped me but I had to run back and grab the similar shower head so they could. credit me accordinlgly. Not thinking I left all my things on the counter and headed back to grab the other box. When I returned the line had grown quite long.. And with no attitude or stress Drake completed my transaction and when I apologized for the being "THAT CUSTOMER" He smiled and said no problem. Which was priceless since I could feel the vibes off the people waiting. I appreciate Good customer service and I will continue to patron this store. P.S. beacause of the attitude of the Manager Jason.. I actually spent another $100 on Lil goodies in the store. Had he been dismissive of my problem and said no.. I would have walked out never to return but that Lil service got a loyal customer.. Who loves a good deal! Good Job guys! read more
