GO TO ANOTHER DD's There was a guy who works there by the fitting rooms today and when my daughter left a blanket on a rack because she didn't want it anymore ,he screamed at her so loud. He scared her and then told her to give it to him. He asked you don't want it??- and she said no. He then moved his head side to side. Like wth dude! YOU WORK THERE! Why do you get mad? Stop screaming at children that aren't yours! He acts like he works in a fancy place. Like calm down dude! It's just DD's! I asked him, why is he getting mad if that's his job! DD Discounts remind me or a Ross with cheaper clothing. They have really cute purses, shoes and accessories. I found a cute pair of leopard flats for $3 and a cute little purses to match for $4. I gave them to my niece for her 16th birthday and she loves them. I will defiantly be returning to DD's when I am in need of some cute cheap shirts. My mother went to DD's and was treated poorly by the staff, named Amber. She was very rude and had an attitude towards the return advising that one of the items was not on the receipt- as it is on the receipt I personally took the liberty to find the item and underlined it for them. When I went to the store another representative named Erliza was assisting me. She was also rude to me and had an attitude when I told her I underlined the item for her and she got upset and made an a rude face. This is not how retail and customer service should be. read more

You can easily compare this to a Ross or Marshalls. Clothing and household items at discount prices. Helpful hint, when shopping at locations like this always look the clothes over for holes, rips or loose threads. I have purchased a dress with a very tiny hole from here but they did give me a 15% discount. Don't be alarmed by the Security Guards. Sometimes there are more guards than any other employees in the store but half the time they are just too busy talking to each other. They actually have a good variety of shoes in a size 11 which is very hard for me to find in discount stores. And their plus size section is not too shabby either. read more

This store is owned by Ross stores. So the signs are familiar- in english with spanish underneath it. When you walk in, you're greeted by the security guard type/loss prevention person. No drinks are allowed, so I had to put my bottled water in my purse. That was fine. The bags are in the front as well as the housewares (pretty good prices), and then womens clothing (juniors, womens, and plus). The childrens clothing is in the back along with the fitting rooms. The mens clothing is along the other wall. The perfumes were near the cash registers. We were here for a short time, but I did notice the great prices on Carter toddler clothing (keeping a lookout for gifting possibilities). Surprisingly the clothing is in arranged order, there isn't a mess anywhere, and no screamers either. Usually when you go to discount type places, it's got a ghetto vibe, but it was alright. I made a purchase at Ross and they forgot to remove the ink tag. From my understanding, DDs is owned by Ross Stores Inc. and their is a DDs around the corner from my house. I called the DDs before i went in and i asked the guy that answered if they would be able to remove the ink tag with my receipt and he very easily said yes, not a problem at all, were apart of Ross. When i got there, the first employee told me i had to go back to Ross, then they got both managers involved and they both told me i had to go to Ross. After voicing my displeasure with the situation, i left. I went back to Ross and they told me that Ross owns DDs and they could have done it. That furthur infuriated me. I know i am just one customer and it will not hurt your corporation, but i will not be spending any more time or money at DDs or Ross again because of this situation. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that it will be story i will tell friends and family in the future who bring up doing business with you and recommend to them not to spend money there. It is unfortunate and a shame because Ross and DDs were always some of favorite discount stores, and now will have to take my time and money to your competitors. It is ashame that something so simple that could have easily been done and was not caused this to happen. I hope your company can take this seriously and use it as a training tool for not only your customer facing employees but also your management team. Something so little can go a long way in a negative direction for your business, but a simple fix can also do well for you too. read more

Security officer was nice. I disagree with the policy that backpacks must be left in the front. Because I rode the bus, I use my backpack as a PURSE. There is no rule stating you must leave purses at the front, why would backpacks be any different?! If you must, check the backpacks as people walk out. Why would I be comfortable leaving my ereader, drinking water, and personal information with a stranger? That it naive. I've been shopping at DD's for about 3 years at their Texas locations. So, I was overjoyed when they opened stores here in Las Vegas. They are great for anyone on a budget. You can get new clothes in all sizes for men, women, and children along with home goods and shoes. I bought my niece school clothes 2 years in a row for under $100.00 including shoes. Perfect for the tax-free weekend! Snobby, label hounds need not waste your time because you will not find designer labels at DD's. But you will find nice new clothes at bargain prices.They get shipments in daily and you won't know what gems you will find. So, check back weekly! read more

I love DD's. I promise no matter how much money you make, budgeting will never not be in style. I really appreciate this store as I've found many outfit finishers here. I've recreated a Pinterest looks with a few items here and only spent $10. Many similar items to things in Forever 21 sales racks for a third of the price. Also, less people makes it better. No crowds, no long checkout lines. Clothes, shoes, bags, housewares, luggage, car accessories. Don't expect a bathroom-- many people walk in asking for a bathroom and I've yet to encounter a DD's that does have one read more

Terrible customer service. They call the next customer before having completed your transaction. They should take some tips from Ross, Burlington's, and TJ Max. Let's hope DDs goes out of business quick. I will never go back and I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to spend their money in these stores. I recently checked this out with my mom and it wasn't bad. My mom loves discount and dollar stores, so I see a lot of them taking her around these days. This store is very much like Ross or Marshall's or the like. This store had a lot of stuff, but we really only checked out the children's section. If you are looking for kid stuff, this is a great place. They had a decent selection of clothes, including a lot of Carter's clothing for really cheap. The also had a ton of cute shoes. I didn't see any big names in the shoe section, but did find some cute summer sandals for $4 for my daughter. There was also a lot of infant/toddler accessories like bouncers, play gyms, potty training chairs, etc., all of which were much cheaper than what I have seen them go for at Babies R Us. The toy section is where you will find the best deals. There are a a ton of options from baby toys to action hero types, all for really good prices. One of the best deals was an entire tea party set I found. It had the tea set, as well as a table and 2 chairs for $22. And yes, the table and chairs were kid sized and could be sat on and played with. That was a great deal. My mom told me that she had bought some shirts for herself at this store, but there weren't very good quality. She actually said one of the shirts fell apart after she washed it, so beware on the adult clothing. On a negative, the neighborhood and shopping center seemed a little shady. I don't think I would want to be there after dark alone. We went around lunch time and it was ok then. read more

Went here for the first time today cause I heard it was similar to Ross (and I love Ross). Sadly, I was a bit disappointed. I did find two shirts I really liked along with a nail polish rack, but the whole store seemed a bit messy and cheap-feeling. Very disorganized and the fitting rooms were SUPER dirty and had a funky smell going on. All in all, I think I'll stick to Ross and TJMAXX/Marshalls - better products, better organization, and much cleaner. (Though I will say the lady at the checkout register was super sweet!) read more

If you like it, buy it or it will be snapped up by some one else in a heart beat. Returns are 30 days only but it's hassle free. Best place to get Plus size or kid's clothes - you can not beat these CHEAP prices. Same brands you find at Target, Walmart, Sears, Kohls, Lane Bryant, Torrid, etc ... But CHEAPER. Really really good place to stock your kitchen & bath goods from, especially if you're on a budget. They also carry a limited amount of pet goods. read more

If you visit this store make sure you take your small children to the bathroom first. The unhelpful and unfriendly staff will refuse to allow any small child to use the bathroom, and then behave like children themselves when you ask for their names. The loss prevention team is especially rude and aggressive. read more

I like this dds out of all the ones in Vegas. They have plenty of good stuff to pick from and it's cheap. I like to go in the mornings when it's less crowded. You have to look through all the clothing thoroughly cause the good stuff be hidden. read more

I love shopping at DD's Discounts. I just wish it was more organized. When I need a quick fix from some retail therapy, this is my go-to place! They are cost effective and have everything that I love. I have bought clothes, housing items, shoes, purses, etc. I will continue to shop here and want to thank whoever created this place...it's AWESOME!!!! They need to build more of these...as far as I know, there are only 2 locations in Las Vegas and both of them are in different parts of town. More of these stores would be great! read more

I like DD's they always have a lot to offer for reasonable prices I went to this store looking for bathroom accessories so I'm in line waiting I see a lady coming from the back with an irritated look maybe mad about having to work work the register so of course I'm next so she ringing up my items and one doesn't have a price tag so she looks at me with the expectation of going to get the price tag I told her I'm not going to get can you call someone to go get it her response was we don't have anyone I said could you at least try she just stared at me then shorty after the somebody she never even attempted to call for or who they did not have walked up so I said is that the person you did have so now she's huffing and puffing dumb ass lady all I wanted was a 2.99 soap dish she could have saved the attitude along with the brown teeth won't be going to this DD's again I know if I have to deal with her again I won't be able to hold my composure read more

This store is fun. Prices are great value. All sizes easy to find. Dressing rooms and very easy to make returns. Daughter bought a blouse from Lane Bryant for $60.00 and same blouse with Lane Bryant tag on it for $7.99 lol You do need to check for flaws and sizing is not always correct....try it on! Been there about 6-8 times never saw more than 1 security guard. Store is clean and well organized. Most of the time they greet you at the door. This is the only DD's I have been in so I can not tell you about others. read more

I was harrassed the minute i walked in the store. I came in with a closed lid drink , and the security guard told me i needed to take it outside and could not leave it upfront. I was a bit surprised, but not a problem. I went outside, put in my car and came back. When i aent to the fitting i tried 4 items. When i came out i had two items on my arm, handed the other two (on hangers) with the placard with the number 4 on it to the fitting room attendant. She insisted i needed to hand her all 4 items . When i went to pay at the cash wrap the cashier girl told me i needed to stand in a different spot. After I paid i decided to go look at the home goods, but the security guard stepped in front of my path , telling me i could not proceed with the bag. Have they never had people walk in the store with bags from other shopping experiences? Let alone a bag from their own store that mind you he watched like a hawk while i paid? It's apparent that this store is stolen from often, but there's a point where over-enforcing policy becomes harrassment. I've never had so many people order me around in a store like that. I most definitely turned around and left after the security guard stepped in front of me. I usually spend around $50 a pop , between apparrel and home goods. No more. Terrible experience read more
