Organizer $17.99
Lesley M.

Whenever I need to buy some affordable clothing or anything concerning houseware this is my favorite place to go to. It is a Ross sister company but for some reason I find Dds to be a lot more organized than Ross. I recently bought a little organizer to store my makeup and hair accessories. Staff has always been fast and efficient.

Location is not the best of the best. When I first walked in here, I seriously thought it was going to be like Michaels but instead i found myself in a store that resembles Ross haha...But i must say that the stuff here is seriously at GREAT PRICE =) The art items are nice and mostly in good condition. Did not find what i wanted but found great items for very cheap compared to an exact item at target and even Walmart. Yes! cheaper than Walmart ^.^ Will shop again but maybe at a different location.

I'm an avid knitter/crocheter, so it's surprising that I've never been to Hobby Lobby before. It's…read moreSeptember and there is already plenty of Christmas and Halloween decorations, all at 50% off. I peruse the store, and it's very similar to Michaels. They have material for just about any craft or hobby, including jewelry supplies, yarns, paints, fabrics, books, and lots of artificial florals. What I didn't see was cake decorating materials, but maybe I missed it. I came here specifically for their yarn. They have many different yarns in their own brand, Yarn Bee. This yarn feels really soft to the touch, so I look forward to using it for my next project. Their yarns are comparable in price to Michaels, but they don't have the large 1-lb value skeins. I also appreciated that there are some Christian items, including calendars, books, and other knick knacks. My only minor complaint is the line to pay. I only had a few items, but there is no self-check available, so I had to wait in the 1 line. Other than that, this is a nice crafts store with a decent yarn supply.

I am not from the Bay Area, but if anyone knows this clown Cardboard Galleria selling on ebay,…read morethey ripped me off & aren't responding to ebay messages. If anyone knows this person/people pls b careful. I am going to contact the city & Better Business Bureau, but most likely I am S.O.L. This is just a public service post; Hobby Lobby has no affiliation with Cardboard Galleria; I am just trying to prevent others from getting scammed.

If you're looking for authentic, hand-picked Moroccan home goods and food, I'd highly recommend a…read morevisit to Casablanca Market. Today, my husband and I drove down from San Francisco and were warmly greeted by Katya and Deborah. Within thirty seconds we felt right at home. After describing the poufs we'd spotted on their website, we were escorted into the warehouse and shown the samples we'd come to see--were able to browse more beautiful inventory that filled the shelves--and were introduced to other members of the Casablanca Marketing family, who ultimately oversaw the preparation of our order. Sitting at home writing this review (with my feet propped up on one of our new poufs), I couldn't be happier with the service we received--and looking forward to our next visit to Casablanca Market (an entirely woman-owned business). Tip: Check out the Casablanca Market website (https://www.casablancamarket.com) to familiarize yourself with their offerings. The market itself, as it stands today, is primarily a distribution center with a modest but engaging showroom. Coming with an idea of what you're looking for, will help Katya and her team find what you want quickly in the warehouse. That said, given the professionalism, passion, and warmth present during today's visit, I have no doubt that anyone who'd never visited their site would have a great experience!

I had shopped there before years ago...but you know how it goes, you work in an area, frequent those shops alot...then you don't work in the area anymore and spots sort of fall of your retail radar, dig? WELL...a darling friend got me a gift certificate for the monthly cooking class at Casablanca and re visiting felt like coming home! The store is gorgeous, with Moroccan home furnishings, mirrors, lighting...gorgeous fabrics and pillows that would make "rock any casbah" (Yeah, I was just waiting to fit that line in = ) AND tons and tons of spices...that remind one of a trip to a Moroccan spice market (or that grand daddy of all spice markets outside the Grand B'zaar in Istanbul but that's a story for another time) So we settle in (there were 9 people in the class) and Katia, the owner of the shop AND our intrepid chef/instructor for the day! The goal was to learn how to make 3-4 authentic Moroccan dishes AND then feast on them!!! Here's what we prepared: Sesame seed crusted Lamb Meatballs with sweet harissa yogurt sauce Tagine of Moroccan Chicken Couscous Salad with chickpeas and dates Roasted ginger cake with this honey lemon fruit topping AND of course, Mint Tea to drink..Mint tea IS the housewine of Morocco! Suffice to say, Katia is a very delightful, patient teacher AND an amazing cook!!! Her teaching style was perfect...and I've been to classes at Greystone, the Culinary Academy...even Jacques Pepin...and she was right up in those ranks...with technique, demo-ing but also stepping back and letting us do our thing! Like most cooking/food prep...sometimes a little improv can lead to some very delcious outcomes! I could go on and on about the store, the cooking class...access to amazing Moroccan spices and tagines...oh and GORGEOUS tea glasses that I imagine are right out of "1001 Nights"....I bought 6 sets...2 to keep, 4 as gifts....people are blown away by how gorgeous they are! Could use them for tea, or votives...or vases....use your imagination!

Selling at the flea market should be fun! Prices are what you'll get for NEW in the store. No seller wants to negotiate (and further adds comments such as "I don't want to sell you, you can leave now" or adds excuses such as "it's harder to crochet small animals") even when the market is about to close. I am trying really hard to support... For example, someone in my party wanted toothbrushes. The individual selling the toothbrush placed a price tag higher than what you'll purchase in store NEW (and let's be honest, less likely to be stolen in the stores). The person in my party was willing to do a bundle deal for a mild discount (such as if one was $3, my person was willing to do 2 for $5). The seller legit says "you can leave now, I don't want to sell to you." WTF. Customer population: Mainly Hispanics Seller population: Mainly Hispanics Parking is free. Flea market is in the B zone.
